The use of open spaces is outstanding and the introduction of sports is something I am truly in favour of. The Potting Shed is a excellent childcare centre!

September 22, 2024 at 9:35 amThe team were outstanding at working with us to help her settle and they are highly great at updates. Every member of team feels fully invested in making the journey incredible for the babies and I’m confident that I can speak to any one of them at pick up about my daughter’s development and they are fully informed about how she is getting on.
Her days are packed with enjoyable and varying activities and they spend a large amount of time outside playing in the gardens and the grounds of the estate.
I see my daughter’s development coming on in leaps and bounds and every fortnight we’re asked for updates on her development at home, her interests, and any events coming up that they can incorporate at childcare centre.
I’m exceptionally cheerful with our journey of The Potting Shed and would happily suggest to others. My sixteen-month-old daughter joined the baby room at eight months old and I am so cheerful we chose The Potting Shed as her childcare centre.

Our daughter is truly cheerful at The Old Potting Shed Childcare centre, it’s a highly lovely location, with excellent outdoor space.

October 21, 2024 at 11:32 amMy little one loves outdoors playtime and I know they utilise the outdoor space and grounds whenever possible. The childcare centre was taken over by the YMCA after about 8 months of my son attending and I’ve noticed improvements in the level of professionalism and vast improvements with the management side of things. I was highly anxious sending my kid into daycare as he had never been looked after by anyone else but I have no concerns anymore, both he and I sense cheerful and content dropping him off. I know he is consistently well looked after and has the loveliest days exploring and discovering at The Old Potting Shed Childcare centre. I would certainly suggest it to other parents. The Old Potting Shed Childcare centre is in the most stunning location and feels like a hidden gem.

October 24, 2024 at 4:24 amThe team are incredibly welcoming and welcoming, and the setting is inviting and inviting. The facilities are engaging, with a variety of playtime areas, toys, and activities to keep kids engaged, all set up by the fantastic team every day depending on the occasion. Most importantly, the kids seemed to be having a excellent time playing and interacting with each other. Many occasions are celebrated with activities for Chinese New Year, Valentine’s Day and even pancake day to name a few recent. All this is shared with us daily via the Famly App that keeps us updated on everything they do and allows us easy interaction with the team if we need it. I would absolutely suggest this childcare centre to any parent looking for a secure, enjoyable, and stimulating setting for their kids. Our daughter has been going to The Old Potting Shed Childcare centre for over 4 months now and has advanced greatly as a small toddler.

October 31, 2024 at 2:42 pmShe loves going into childcare centre each day and is constantly entertained and well looked after. The team are all so lovely, attentive and compassionate. The new sports programme is also a huge positive and saves having to take her to extra sports activities on a weekend. It’s also lovely that they are outside so much, going for walks around the grounds and seeing the animals nearby. She loves it here and we adore it! Our daughter started at The Old Potting Shed Childcare centre nearly a year ago and she has thrived.

November 12, 2024 at 2:40 pmHe absolutely loves his time at childcare centre, he has a excellent bond with the team and thoroughly enjoys the activities especially the outside ones and the additional sports activities. We are highly impressed with his speech since starting, his ability to do things for himself and all of the new foods he has tried and now loves. He cannot wait to get up and go to childcare centre in the mornings which makes us relax knowing he is having such a great time. We get daily updates, monthly updates and the updates is incredible. He consistently comes home cheerful, smiling and excited to tell us about his day. We are so cheerful that we have chosen this childcare centre and couldn’t suggest it enough. My son joined childcare centre back in July 2022 when he was 19 months old.

January 3, 2025 at 1:49 amThey care about the kids and provide plenty of varied activities. My kid feels cared for and enjoys attending which is the most important factor for me. I like the extra sports activities they have offered as an-add on, my kid has thoroughly enjoyed discovering rugby and playing with his peers. The Old Potting Shed is a fantastic childcare centre.

Their outdoor space is exceptional and I am consistently well up to date about how my kid’s day has been. The team are remarkable and have all made my kid sense heard and cared for. Exceptional childcare centre with a exceptional team! My daughter started in September and absolutely loves it there.

January 22, 2025 at 12:41 pmEveryone at The Old Potting Shed Childcare centre were incredibly supportive and the settling in process and comms was truly reassuring. Her key worker was absolutely remarkable – truly patient and nurturing and it didn’t take long before she was laughing and loving life at childcare centre. She has developed so quickly and it’s incredible to see how far she’s come which is a real credit to the childcare centre. It’s a lovely setting, lots of outdoors activities but it’s the team that truly make it special. I would 100% suggest. My daughter started childcare centre at 11 months and took a little while to settle with the new transition.

The Old Potting Shed Childcare centre is a fantastic place for my 2.5 year old boy – he loves his time at childcare centre and truly enjoys being outdoors and exploring with all his friends.

It consistently seems a lovely atmosphere at drop off and pick up and we get excellent updates through the app so can see everything they are up to, as well as nap times/meal times etc. I sense like our daughter has made great development since being at The Old Potting Shed and she seems to adore it! Our daughter started at The Old Potting Shed last February and I would definitely suggest the childcare centre to new parents.

The use of the app that parents have access to see their kid’s day-to-day time at childcare centre is exceptional and the progression my kid has made since he has been at the childcare centre is incredible. The setting of the childcare centre is lovely and the setting is fantastic. As parents, you want the best childcare centre for your kid.

It is well-managed and there is great updates, especially via the app. Care is taken over the food preparation, so I sense confident she is eating healthy fresh food every day. The kids explore lots of different well-thought-out activities and themes, indoors and outdoors. Our daughter has come on leaps and bounds since joining. Our daughter has attended the Old Potting Shed for one and a half years.

They go on walks so my little one can explore nature more and they get access to the outside every day. Our little boy has settled truly well into the childcare centre and loves going. He runs down to the door. The activities on offer are catered to each individual needs and interests and are in line with the early years foundation stage. Incredible childcare centre. The Old Potting Shed Childcare centre is the perfect childcare centre.

June 26, 2025 at 2:37 pmIt is a remarkable setting, they get so much stimulation and discovering opportunities, and we’re highly grateful that we have our girls attending such a nurturing place. The daily updates are fantastic to read and we sense highly lucky to see what the kids do.
I am truly pleased with how well and quickly our youngest has settled in too. She has obviously felt well looked after.
Please pass on my gratitude to all the team and that we think they are all incredible and doing fantastic things. I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the team in the different rooms and for all the ideas, planning and enjoyable organised for the kids.
