From the first show round, we knew it was where we’d be sending our kid, not just because of the lovely setting and setting that it is, but also the extras that came with your kid having a place there. The team are beyond remarkable and work with us very much as part of a team, with regular updates on childcare centre drop-offs/pickups and through the parents’ app too. Our kid’s key workers are nothing short of incredible and offer real assistance and reassurance that they have our kid’s best interest at heart. The food that our kid eats is just exceptional with incredible variety, all healthy and freshly prepared on-site. Just a remarkable childcare centre with truly excellent team that consistently go above and beyond. I would 100% suggest The Mere Nursery to anyone. Deciding on where to send your first kid to childcare centre is a massive decision, we looked at a few different nurseries and kid minders, however, as soon as we discovered The Mere Nursery, we knew that we’d found something special.

They are excellent with the kids and have been remarkable with all our foster meetings, appointments and helping with the boys in their development. The team are exceptional, really supportive, efficient and supportive.

They genuinely care for the kids and design interesting activities menus and spaces that allow them to grow and explore. Everyone at The Mere is so attentive and attentive.

My daughter has found drop offs hard and upsetting but the team have done everything possible to ease the transition. I have also valued calls throughout the day to let me know when she is calm and cheerful.
The team at Mere excel in organising original playtime, themed days and wonderfully creative activities, there is consistently something going on.
Overall a lovely place with a welcoming sense. I have been really pleased with the service offered at Mere Nursery.

The team are incredibly welcoming and are truly invested in the kids. They use the EYFS framework and have a great understanding of where all kids are on their discovering journeys. I can see that team are valued – they are continually engaging in expert development and praised on social media. Always a great sign. The discovering at the childcare centre is rich in real life, relatable experiences. They have a gorgeous outdoor area which they use frequently, and the food is varied and healthy. The childcare centre frequently communicates with parents and is open to suggestions from them. The discovering setting is well developed and rotated frequently to maximise engagement. Everything is well planned and kid-centred. I’d suggest this childcare centre to anybody. It really is an outstanding childcare centre in every sense. Review from a parent who is also a teacher, so has an understanding of the EYFS setting.

We were so impressed with the induction process, which included a home visit and introduction sessions. It has been so reassuring seeing how the Mere Nursery team really care about the kids and creating an outstanding setting for our developing kid. The team are truly passionate, inviting and approachable. It is true to say our baby boy is in very secure hands. Like any parent, we were very nervous and apprehensive about finding the right childcare centre setting for our baby boy.

Pleased they do a parents evening for my husband to see at night. Excellent giving discount if you suggest friends as the childcare centre is expensive.
Though I like it that the childcare centre is open from 7:30am – 6pm. Very cheerful with the childcare centre.

As soon as I walked into the childcare centre, I was so amazed at such a lovely setting. I was welcomed by all the team and knew straight away it was right for my son. My son loved the childcare centre and all the team in the baby room. I have never met such an attentive group of attentive people. I was apprehensive to leave him as a first time mum, however, the care shown to my son was above and beyond and I soon returned to work knowing he was secure and cheerful. We have recently returned to Australia and cannot find somewhere as great as The Mere. I highly suggest this childcare centre. After returning to the UK from Australia, we were unsure of the childcare centre process.

Always willing to help, adding in extra sessions, where needed. Outdoor space on the grass area is remarkable, the playground area would benefit from a re-vamp and tidy up though. Very cheerful with the care provided. Flexible childcare centre that offers term time only, which can be invaluable for some parents.

All of the team know every single kid personally. My kids have been in baby, toddler and pre-school rooms and they are all outstanding and manned by dedicated professionals who tailor activities to the interests of kids really help them to develop in a attentive, nurturing setting. There is stellar outside space for the kids to playtime every day and they are often also taken for walks to visit the local farm or other local points of interest. The office team are super supportive and answer any questions I have. My daughter has adopted the manager as her personal favourite and gets very excited whenever she drops into the baby room. Such a lovely childcare centre.
