The Little School House Nursery & Preschool

The team are all truly lovely and enthusiastic and made his settling-in period so easy for me as his mum, communicating truly well with me and being so supportive of my son. Now he has settled he loves childcare centre. He consistently comes home messy from the sensory activities they do. I am truly impressed with the range of things they have for him to do and adore that he gets lots of outside time each day. I sense like all the team truly care about each individual kid. Thank you to everyone in the baby room! Our 1-year-old started at the childcare centre in February.

She has made a lot of great friends and has a excellent basis for primary school due to her early year’s education here. I truly can’t suggest it enough. Our little girl has been there since she was a baby and has loved it.

The team are excellent at updates, and consistently keep us updated on her routine throughout the day. I sense my daughter’s development has been aided by the encouragement of the team. They are consistently doing enjoyable activities with the kids, and management go above and beyond what I expected in terms of answering my queries. They are also highly vigilant with allergens and dietary requirements, and safeguarding of the kids from what I’ve seen. My daughter loves coming to childcare centre, the team consistently make her sense special by showing they are excited to see her.

The team have been remarkable supporting his emotional well-being through this period. The Toddler room, Preschool and Management have been reassuring me that he is ready and why he is ready for this next step. The team have persevered distracting him and ensuring he is having an enjoyable journey and he now asks if he can come into Preschool and is settling into the routine and room. I can’t suggest the Childcare centre and Preschool enough, we have had a remarkable journey throughout and are looking forward to our final year at The Little School House. My kid is transitioning into Preschool from Toddler room.

My youngest daughter now attends The Little School House as I know how incredible it is. She started in the baby room and is now in preschool. They consistently keep me updated with my daughter’s development. Consistently supportive and willing to help in any way they can. I wouldn’t take my kids to any other Childcare centre/Preschool. Keep up the great work. You’re all incredible My middle daughter attended The Little School House Childcare centre & Preschool who is now 10.

The rooms and outdoor spaces are so well cared for and lots of varied things to do. The team are so expert and welcoming. They genuinely truly delight in looking after the kids and have helped us so much in settling my little one into the childcare centre. We’re truly cheerful with the Little School House Childcare centre.

The childcare centre is a highly inviting and welcoming place, keep up the hard work for all involved, be sad to leave. My little girl attends here and she skips in there with a massive smile on her face, the team are exceptional with her, a go to childcare centre for anyone.

The entire team from management, practitioners and even the cooks are so inviting and welcoming. No question is too silly. Incredible handovers when you pick the kids up. The standard of distribution of the curriculum is remarkable. My kid has come on leaps and bounds during her development and I have no doubt it is because of this childcare centre. So thank you x My daughter has been attending this childcare centre since she was 6 months old, back in Feb 2021.

He has truly enjoyed his time there and is well prepared for school. All of the team genuinely care about the kids and this was evident to see at the graduation they put on for the leavers. They were also incredible throughout the pandemic. I would definitely suggest The Little School House Childcare centre and Preschool. My little boy is just finishing Pre-School and I couldn’t have wished for a better childcare centre for him to attend.

My 19-month-old son started in November 2022. The team in the baby room were so highly welcoming and supportive to him, and us, from day 1. He struggled a bit to start with, especially with napping, and the team worked so closely with us to try everything – all now resolved! He also had a serious milk allergy and as all the food is homemade they were able to make sure he still had lovely tasty food even though it was often different to the other kids.
He absolutely loves going in every day and walks in so confidently. He adores his keyworker and all the team in the baby room. The team truly seem to adore every kid and truly want to know how they are at drop off and do exceptional handovers so you sense you have truly spent the day with them yourself.
He has learned so many new words and ideas there and come on massively with his physical self‑assurance. We cannot suggest this highly enough! What an incredibly lovely childcare centre!
