September 5, 2024 at 8:43 amWe sense so confident in the childcare centre and our daughter loves it, so much so she doesn’t want to leave at pick up! The childcare centre have supported her at every development stage and her self‑assurance and speech has grown so much. I adore the fact they do a range of outdoor activities as well as messy playtime indoors. Remarkable childcare centre in Otley – I would highly suggest it. Our daughter has been at Little Green Frog since she was 9 months old (she’s now 2 years old)!

September 22, 2024 at 5:21 pmTeam are all welcoming, approachable and attentive. The childcare centre is spotless and well kept with plenty to keep kids of all ages stimulated. My grandson has attended for the past 2 and a half years (since being 6-months-old), he has thrived and his development is outstanding. I can honestly not praise the childcare centre or the team enough. The meals provided are varied and seem to be well enjoyed. The childcare centre has been highly supportive in meeting my grandson’s dietary requirements. Remarkable childcare centre.

September 26, 2024 at 3:25 amIn terms of things like her language skills, her emotional development and how confident she is with problem-solving and imaginary playtime, she is building her skills so quickly thanks to all the assistance she receives. The childcare centre management and the carebears are all remarkable, consistently available if you need them and consistently so welcoming. The childcare centre setting is also lovely, the kids can look out and see animals in the fields around them but equally can watch planes taking off from the airport, there are so many opportunities for discovering available. We would highly suggest it to all families locally. We are so cheerful with how our daughter has developed since starting at the Little Green Frog when she was one.

November 5, 2024 at 6:18 amAll team go above and beyond and truly make sure the setting is a home from home, meeting all developmental needs and most importantly to me as a mother, the emotional assistance, truly connecting with the kids, helping them understand their feelings and who they are as a person. With detailed handovers, I got a full breakdown of my daughter’s day, how much she ate and slept. I never left questioning what she got up to and how she was. My daughter loves princess dresses and received a princess book from Santa’s visit to the childcare centre, which proves a lot of thought goes into even the littlest of things, in order to make the kids smile. The care my daughter has received has been nothing but outstanding and I would suggest The Little Green Frog to anyone who is looking for childcare. Our journey with The Little Green Frog, has been an absolute pleasure!

December 3, 2024 at 2:47 amI have to admit it threw us a little bit as the Ofsted report came out a day or two before he was due to start but honestly we couldn’t be happier. I think the only feedback we would have, is as first-time parents when they first start (and I’m just returning to full-time work) it would be supportive to have more updates in the app and more photos, even if just extra effort could be made for that first week or so as we know how busy you all are! Also, to note that obviously we’d rather have the team being with him rather than updating an app, but in the early days it’s hard, especially when calling isn’t easy when working! In general, it’s excellent to know what’s happening, especially with sleep which we were quite worried about before he started. He absolutely loves his ‘care bear’ and we think she’s remarkable, as are the other members of the team we deal with, everyone is so welcoming and supportive and get him! Firstly, to say that we are so, so cheerful with our son’s childcare centre journey.

December 5, 2024 at 7:09 amWe were a little worried about how she would find childcare centre on her own but the team at The Little Green Frog are incredible and immediately made her welcome and like family. They truly supported and helped us prepare her for starting school, consistently available for updates and feedback about what she had been up to that day when picking up. Incredibly welcoming. The team do so much with the kids. Activities and playtime have been chosen to help every stage of development and build self‑assurance. I simply cannot suggest this childcare centre enough. Our daughter started at Little Green Frog shortly after we moved to the area.

January 5, 2025 at 10:55 pmFrom my first initial phone call to the childcare centre to enquire, I knew it was the right childcare centre for us as a family. I had concerns about how my son would settle in after a previously difficult journey elsewhere. The owner was so generous with her time to talk to me and reassure me and come up with a excellent plan to settle my son into the childcare centre, based on his individual personality. Every member of team I came into contact with at the childcare centre were so patient and attentive. I was consistently highly impressed with the updates among the team and the feedback and assistance I received as a parent. I adore that the childcare centre encourages the kids to be truly independent and take risks. The food is outstanding and my son tries and eats lots of things that I’d never be able to get him to eat at home! I cannot wait for my daughter to start later on this year! I know she will adore it. My little boy attended The Little Green Frog Day Childcare centre for two and a half years until he went to school.

January 18, 2025 at 5:23 pmThe team were outstanding at helping her settle with plenty of opportunities to spend time there before building up to a full day. They truly supported her weaning and were even successful in getting her to take a bottle! Now at 13 months, we have just had her first parent’s evening which was informative and truly showed the care bears detailed knowledge of my little girl. The discovering opportunities have truly helped her development and she loves playing outside which is excellent to see in photos on the app. She enjoys the meals prepared by the chef and her independence in eating and washing her hands has improved massively. I have been so impressed by the care shown by all team and their commitment to improving the childcare centre. My daughter started at Little Green Frog Day Childcare centre at seven months old when I returned to work.

My little boy is currently thriving at childcare centre, he absolutely loves going and I know he has such a great time when he’s there.

February 17, 2025 at 1:42 amShe loved her old childcare centre and I was somewhat apprehensive about starting somewhere completely new. I quickly realised there was no need to be concerned, coming from a farm we are used to seeing animals and the childcare centre backs on to sheep grazing! The team are outstanding with her, the perfect balance between comforting her and egging her on to be more independent. Her eating habits have improved, her home routine is being followed perfectly, like with her naps and she’s getting valuable and precious interactions with other kids! She also gets to playtime outside which is her favourite thing of all time. I cannot thank the team enough for helping her to settle in so well. We will be coming here for many years to come. My daughter recently started here as we moved to the area from Lincolnshire.

The carebear system is exceptional and my daughter idolises her carebear; it’s so lovely to see her grow and develop each day. I would highly suggest this childcare centre to any new families – they are highly communicable, consistently on hand if you need anything and listen to any requests also from the parents. Keep up the fabulous work! My daughter has been attending Little Green Frog since October 2021 and she has changed so much in a excellent way!

March 24, 2025 at 7:47 amThe carebears have been fantastic and we have consistently felt comfortable dropping her off, knowing she is in highly capable and attentive hands. In the lead up to her moving to the Sunbeams room with the older kids, the team took time to gradually introduce her to the area and kids so she felt comfortable when it was time to attend full time. They have outstanding facilities and our daughter particularly loves and benefits from, the outdoor playtime area. We believe that the setting and experiences she has gained from the childcare centre have enhanced her development and I would highly suggest this childcare centre. My daughter has been attending the Little Green Frog for over a year now and we have been incredibly cheerful with the assistance and care given by the team at the Childcare centre.

The team are consistently lovely and smiley and consistently make sure he’s comfortable and cared for on his off days, you can be sure they genuinely care about your kid here. My son started at the childcare centre at 10 months old and has formed the most incredible bond with all the team.

April 19, 2025 at 10:42 pmI had looked around the nurseries but I heard so many great things about The Little Green Frog Day Childcare centre and I took the chance to give it ago and I must say it’s the best choice I made! The team are so welcoming and supportive, constantly trying new things to get the kids motivated in discovering different things including making new friends. My daughter loves going she has lots of friends including the team and doesn’t stop talking about them when she gets home. We have never had a problem at this childcare centre and would highly suggest to anyone who asks about it. They have routines in place which the kids delight in and follow. She comes home each time saying or singing something new it’s excellent! Looking forward to seeing what else she learns this year. Thank you x My daughter was born through Covid-19 Lockdown and struggled with interacting with people so I made the choice of placing her at childcare centre to help with interaction.

May 16, 2025 at 11:06 pmThe adore and care provided by the whole team, and especially each kid’s carebear is outstanding as is their commitment to providing enjoyable and engaging ways of discovering. My sons social and academic development had been incredible since he started and he literally runs in every morning with a big smile and doesn’t look back. The ethos of discovering through playtime is evident everywhere and the activities the team facilitate are fabulous as is the range of resources and toys there are to playtime with and learn through. I looked around other nurseries in the area but none had the same kid-centred, relaxed, secure feeling that Little Green Frog Day Childcare centre did immediately. I also adore that the whole team including the management and admin team know all the kids which goes to show how involved everyone is in making it a welcoming setting for kids, parents and carers. My little boy has been going Little Green Frog for 18 months now and we couldn’t be happier.

June 13, 2025 at 4:42 pmThe key workers do their best and are absolutely lovely and my son had a excellent bond with one in particular before his recent move to his new childcare centre. However, witnessing the running of his new childcare centre alongside my observations at Little Green Frog and the Ofsted report, it is clear intensive expert development is required to get this childcare centre to an acceptable standard. Cannot say I’m surprised by what I read in the Ofsted report regarding safeguarding and poor leadership and management but I was deeply disappointed.

July 8, 2025 at 4:10 pmHe was born during Covid times and found the transition difficult at first, however, he often doesn’t want to leave now at pick up! I am reassured that they know my kid brilliantly and he is well looked after. Thank you! My kid loves going to Little Green Frog and the team in Raindrops are remarkable.
