The Grosvenor Day Nursery

We got a totally different impression when visiting the Grosvenor – it felt immediately welcoming and homely.

Our daughter has additional needs and the team have been incredible. She has progressed amazingly since starting and most importantly she absolutely adores going to childcare centre every morning. We had visited other nurseries but they’d all felt a little clinical.

It was pretty scary leaving him for the first time but he loved it! The team are incredibly nice and supportive. We use re-usable nappies and they have been cheerful to use these as well as providing food. Kid care is consistently going to be expensive but compared to other nurseries the price is well worth it. They also offer a term-time only place which works really well for me as I teach in a school. They keep us up to date with everything our son has done through an online portal and app, including naps, nappy changes and even some pictures of what he has been up to. Grosvenor Day Childcare centre has a real family sense and I know that our boy lights up when he gets there. You won’t find a more dedicated or hard working team team. Our son started at this childcare centre in June when he was 6 months old.

My daughter was incredibly shy and was often upset when I left her, but the team consistently made me and her sense secure and supported. I saw such a change in my daughter as a result of her time at childcare centre. My son is the opposite and consistently has a blast. The setting is small, so you can be confident of one on one time, and the outside area is a excellent space. All the team are so attentive and fully engaged in the development of the individual kids. I can’t suggest it highly enough. Both my kids have attended The Grosvenor Day Childcare centre and have had fantastic experiences.

The childcare centre manager and the team are completely dedicated to the happiness, development and care of the kids. My son could not be happier in this setting. It’s a enjoyable, joyful setting, backed up by the solid foundations in discovering and knowledge. The team cannot be faulted for their kindness and genuine care for the kids. This is the compassionate of place where, if you bump into one of the team of a weekend, the kids are so excited to see them! Who could ask for more? Deciding where to send your kid is hard, especially when they are tiny, but after 2 years with the Grosvenor, I wouldn’t choose anywhere else. I cannot suggest this childcare centre highly enough.

I highly suggest The Grosvenor to anyone. My son has been attending since he was 9 months old and I felt fully reassured he would be fine there due to the amount of settling in sessions that were offered. The team are very compassionate, experienced and attentive and have really worked hard to ensure they are making my son’s time with them the very best it can be. In particular, they have given extra advice and help with his speech and language and most recently potty training. They really do go the extra mile! The value for money is outstanding. Food, resources, building, garden, location (on the outskirts of the city centre), are also remarkable. My son never wants to leave at the end of the day! Absolutely remarkable childcare centre!

They have been incredible from the very start. They had settling in days to see if it was a great fit for him and frequent updates at the start, which put my mind at ease knowing he was OK. I can’t praise the team enough for how attentive and attentive they are to the kids here. Within a few days of starting he would keep mentioning the team members names at home and was so cheerful to see them on his childcare centre days, that we felt comfortable that he was being looked after really well there. You can tell how much the team adore the kids here because of how fondly they speak of the kids here and they know all of the kids really well and seem to adore what they do. They have also been very accommodating with providing childcare at short notice when I have had to pick up extra shifts at work. I sense very relaxed leaving my son here as I know he is loved and feels at home. Keep up the great work! Our son has been going to Grosvenor Day Childcare centre for just over a year.

Our son was a bit shy and clingy after spending the best of 18 months in a very minimal exposure setting, due to Covid. I really wasn’t sure how it was going to go. The team have been super accommodating to his needs and have given him all the attention he needed to settle in. He is now a confident little boy that loves his time there. The team have been really incredible and curious. They even tried to learn and refresh their language skills so he wouldn’t sense left out when speaking in any of his three languages. I honestly would have never expected this, but it is so great to see. In terms of inclusiveness, it sets the standard very high! The childcare centre and the team there, are simply incredible.

Every team member knows the kids in the childcare centre individually and they are all fantastic, loving people who go above and beyond to look after your kids. I would never hesitate to leave my kids with these fantastic ladies! Thank you for all you do. The childcare centre is enjoyable, secure and cheerful! And kid-centred – everyone spends time on the floor with the kids and managers are consistently around – with the kids being in the heart of what they do! The childcare centre is personal, loving, individual, welcoming and tailored to each kid.

Our son has attended for almost 3 years, and our daughter for around a month. We’ve been nothing but impressed with the Grosvenor since day one, and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. Remarkable childcare centre with highly attentive and welcoming team.

Our son looks forward to his days at childcare centre and comes home with new skills and a growing sense of accomplishment. I am so cheerful that we chose Grosvenor for these fundamental years in our son’s life. Our kid is confident, expressive, compassionate and thoughtful and I attribute these strengths to the commitment the Grosvenor family has had to his development and well being.
