December 6, 2016 at 12:00 amThe Eveline Day School is the most wonderful environment to have your child attend school and grow in confidence. Am constantly amazed at how much the children learn and how amazing the teachers are. My son has grown so much in confidence and looks forward to school every day.

December 7, 2016 at 12:00 amWonderful, nurturing nursery with a fantastic manager. I feel lucky that my two kids have gone here. Streets ahead of other nurseries.

December 19, 2016 at 12:00 amWe have been very happy with our time with Eveline Swan House. Our daughter was previously at Eveline Ritherdon Road for the last 3 years and we have always found the staff attentive, supportive with a high level of learning, development and education. Our youngest is now 6 months and is settling in as we speak to Eveline Ritherdon – I have every confidence that she will be equally happy there.

January 4, 2017 at 12:00 amA friendly, nurturing school with a focus on drama and music. We’ve been really impressed by the interaction between the year groups and how the older years really know the younger kids. Good leaver school achieved. The child care provided by the school is a lifesaver.

January 6, 2017 at 12:00 amThis is a great place for children to learn and be looked after. The quality of care is really just like a continuation of home, the holistic approach to getting the best out of each child is fantastic.

January 26, 2017 at 12:00 amI am very pleased with the teaching and care provided by the whole team at Eveline Day School -from the security at the entrance to the teachers, managers and cooks. The year-round wrap around care is hugely helpful. They pay a lot of attention to teaching kids to understand the world (foodbanks, comic relief efforts) and because each class is quite small, each child gets individual attention, especially with reading.
As a parent, I get feedback from the teachers all the time and they encourage regular and open communication which helps to raise and address concerns. It is a home away from home – I can’t ask for more.

February 17, 2017 at 12:00 amBoth of our daughters have attended – one is still there. They both have loved the experience and developed tremendously in terms of social confidence, developmental curiosity and writing, talking, reading and physical skills. The staff are warm, caring and hands on. It feels like personal care and both daughters have strong personal bonds with them. The curriculum is varied and stimulating and it is great that they plan outside time and not just stay inside. I can’t speak highly enough of either the educational or caring side – superb on both counts.

March 30, 2017 at 12:00 amWe are extremely happy with the school. Our daughter started in upper reception, having been to a different nursery. We have been delighted with the ease of which she has settled in, due in large part to the warmth, understanding and experience of her class teacher and the other teachers at the school. She is excited about going to school and the classroom and home activities are interesting and well planned. The school responds quickly to comments and it is extremely helpful to be able to go into the classroom each day and where we haven’t been able to speak, to exchange messages with the teacher in the liaison book. The school is small and fosters a warm, family atmosphere. We are sure this has contributed to the speed with which our daughter (and we) felt part of the Eveline Day School “family”. We are looking forward to seeing her continue to develop her confidence and build a love of learning.

October 23, 2019 at 12:00 amVery professional and engaging atmosphere. Very welcoming and warm to all the children. The children are always engaged in activities and reminded to use their manners often. I’m very happy about my sons progress at Eveline.

October 23, 2019 at 12:00 amA wonderful nurturing and caring school with high academic standards and lots of co-curricular activities in music, drama, sports, science and school trips. The wrap-around care is a real bonus. All the children seem happy and behaviour is excellent.

October 23, 2019 at 12:00 amOur son is very happy at the school and really enjoys his time there. He has been to their nursery before he joined the day school and we were very happy when he joined the main school. It is very helpful and flexible to be able to send them to the school during holiday time and has a very nice friendly and family feel about the school, even down to the greeting when you come to drop off and pick up your child! Also the ability to have extra activities, such as music lessons. Teaching a musical instrument is really great for engaging your child. They really engage with the children and seem to have great class activities and projects.

November 7, 2019 at 12:00 amI have two grandchildren at the school and occasionally collect them. I hear them talk about it and see the work they produce and the homework they do. It always seems a happy environment with good feedback to parents on progress and (miss)behaviour, as required. Constructive participation in sports as well as academic studies. Very good security, which is essential as I and other grandparents attend infrequently.

May 20, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son has been a pupil at The Eveline Day School since 2018, and my daughter is at nursery. The Eveline Day School community feels like a family: as the school is small, the children (and parents) are able to develop relationships across all year groups. The nurturing, loving environment promotes children to discover and develop their own strengths and characters, at their own pace. The school’s response to Covid 19 was remarkable, both with respect to health and safety and pastoral care. Finally – as working parents – the wraparound care provides a wonderful safety net: my children always have somewhere to go where they are safe, happy and loved.
