The Croft Nursery (Newcastle)

Staff go above and beyond for the children. My child has shown me they love nursery by running in each day, they are learning more and more and becoming more confident. Some staff can look miserable when you walk into a room which makes you feel uncomfortable and want to get out as soon as you can. It is quite expensive for the day/week.

Absolutely fantastic nursery with caring and committed staff. My daughter loves attending this nursery and as a first-time mother, it is lovely knowing that the staff here go that extra mile daily for her to feel happy and safe.

Absolutely wonderful nursery. They really know my son and his individual personality and quirks, which makes me feel very comfortable leaving him there. They make a great effort to organise engaging and relevant activities ie Jubilee party, and are flexible to adapt the schedule with weather etc. My son has developed in terms of writing, counting etc but also confidence around other children and social skills, since starting at The Croft.

Amazing nursery, fab staff. All three of my children came here. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. The staff were amazing and treat the children like family. There is such a homely environment in this nursery.

If only words could suffice how wonderful my experience with Croft Nursery has been. My daughter has been going to the baby’s room since she was eight months old. I still remember how emotional I had been when I first dropped her at the nursery. Fast forward to now when she is now one and a half years old, she enjoys it so much there and looks forward to it every morning! The staff have always gone above and beyond to take care of my baby. It may appear that it is costly but one has to consider that even when a mother looks after her child, her efforts can’t be repaid with money. I feel the same about all the staff whose efforts are priceless in raising my child. There are numerous activities full of fun and learning to keep children constructively engaged. My child has been spoilt for choice and sometimes I struggle to keep her as entertained at home! I will be forever grateful to the whole team for caring for my daughter and being so patient with her.

A lovely and friendly nursery, where staff make every effort to ensure they know the children well and take the time to get to know what the children like and enjoy. We have seen so much progress in our son’s development during his time at the nursery, staff have worked hard to ensure he eats well and develops lots of social and physical skills.

The Croft is a warm home-from-home setting for young children. My little boy has attended here for the last two and half years and has received care and love from the lovely attentive staff as though he is family. Aswell as taking care of my child’s personal day-to-day needs, the wonderful staff inspire and encourage my child’s personal interests and have inspired my little boy to learn and play. He has made amazing progress in the preschool room so far this year in phonics and number, as well as imagination and play. Nothing is ever too much trouble for staff and I have faith in the setting that he is well cared for. My son loves the staff and speaks highly of them all. Communication is excellent on pick up and the staff clearly know my child well, even his picky eating!

I would love for more opportunities for parents to visit the nursery for parent sessions/celebrations/occasions.

Fantastic setting! Amazing staff, food and activities. My little boy is so happy there. I was very nervous about leaving him but on our first stay-and-play session I knew it was the right place for us. We were so glad we chose The Croft Nursery!

Really lovely nursery. My son attends the preschool and the staff are so kind and caring. My son loves going. They do lots of great activities and spend lots of time outside. Meals are always great.

My daughter loves attending nursery. Although she only does 2 days a week she has come on so much and is very fond of all the staff and talks about them even when she has not been there. Always very friendly and approachable.
