The Close Day Nursery School

We cannot fault the childcare centre, especially during the covid pandemic. Our daughter loves the team and has built some remarkable relationships with all of them. She has thrived in each room and we will be sad to leave such a excellent childcare centre. Our daughter started at The Close Day Childcare centre School in early 2019 after her first birthday and is due to start school in September 2022.

She absolutely loves it and everyone who works there. She comes home each day cheerful and full of excitement after a day of playing and discovering. I never worry about leaving her at drop off and she skips in each morning without giving me a second glance! The team are exceptional and it truly feels like they adore your kid almost as much as you do, consistently providing a secure and attentive setting. My oldest kid also attended The Close from 2013 – 2017 and I knew if we had more kids then I would not hesitate in using The Close again. The team are not just a lovely team, they are outstanding educators and both my kids have thrived during their time there. I would absolutely not hesitate to suggest The Close Day Childcare centre School to any parent looking for early years childcare. My daughter has attended The Close Day Childcare centre School since January 2020, when she joined at a year old.

She starts school this September 2022 and has come on so well and learned so much, my daughter has got a great relationship with the team and consistently talks about them. I will miss coming to the childcare centre and I will definitely be sending my other daughter to the childcare centre when she turns 2. All the team are welcoming and it has been a pleasure to know them. My daughter started in October 2020 in the middle room and then progressed to the big room in 2021.

My kid has a remarkable day every day and can’t wait to go to childcare centre, not only to see his friends but to see all the team too and tell them about his evening.
Incredible childcare centre. Can’t fault anything. Any problems you have you can contact the head teacher and she will go above and beyond (as well as everyone else) to help resolve any issues – this is including things that may be happening at home. The team are incredible, nothing is too much for them.

Our daughter started in August 2022 and we couldn’t be happier. All the girls in the baby room made her first journey of being away from home seamless. They take the time to give thorough feedback at the end of each day and she loves going into childcare centre. The work she comes home with is varied and I truly sense like they know my daughter and next steps including targets which are shared with home. We adore The Close Day Childcare centre School.

The culture within the childcare centre is attentive and nurturing. Team are all proactive in giving practical advice from their wealth of journey when consulted or required. Our third kid is now enrolled at the Close Day Childcare centre and our middle kid is in the big room. We couldn’t imagine sending our kids to any other childcare centre. Our eldest son started at the Close Day Childcare centre six years ago, the team from baby room, middle room and through to the big room are like one big family.

He started in the baby room and transitioned to the middle room once he turned 2. He’s had incredible key workers in both rooms. He knows all the team by name and he knows they all care for him. The team are intentional and invest not only in his educational development but also in his social and emotional. He is flourishing and growing in his self‑assurance! Team are quick to assistance parents with practical things like potty training and providing leaflets and information that’s been useful at home. We wouldn’t want our son to be anywhere else. We also know there is exceptional leadership as there is little to no team turnover. We’re grateful for all they do. Our son has been at The Close Day Childcare centre School since October 2021.

The team have gone above and beyond to ensure my daughter has had a smooth transition from a previous childcare centre setting, and the positive change we have seen in our little girl has been truly fantastic. Her self‑assurance has grown considerably, and it is so reassuring to see her so cheerful and so excited to go to childcare centre. The provision that is provided is stellar with lots of different activities for the kids to delight in. The updates is absolutely remarkable; after each session, you are provided with a detailed account of what your kid has been up to, along with a weekly update about previous discovering and the focus points for the following week. We would wholeheartedly suggest this childcare centre. My daughter has been attending The Close Day childcare centre since April 2022, and we are absolutely delighted with the development she is making.
