The team are welcoming and easy to communicate with. Parents are updated quarterly about their kid’s development, however, we receive daily updates when collecting our kid. If there are any issues, parents are contacted via the app and over the phone, if need be. Having the app makes me sense safer leaving my kid in the care of another. I wish it could open earlier to fit in line with my job but I am cheerful with the opening hours all the same. The diet is very great and kids are encouraged to drink water and have fruit throughout the day. The childcare centre is well managed so parents can sense confident in their kid’s care and supported.

The Butterfly Patch South Norwood is an absolutely incredible childcare centre! Words cannot express how cheerful I am with the quality of care and adore they show my son. The manager and the team are remarkable, any issues or concerns (which are rare) are dealt with swiftly; as a parent, I sense listened to and consistently supported. This is so refreshing as I moved my son from a different childcare centre because he was unhappy; he is a different kid at The Butterfly Patch, he is cheerful to attend, regularly request to go at the weekend and sometimes, doesn’t want to come home! My kid is cheerful again and has been since he started. He has learnt so much since being there, educationally, socially and environmentally. The values of the childcare centre really do align with my own. Love the fact they encourage curiosity and listen to the kids. So glad I found this childcare centre! I am a big fan. My son has been attending this childcare centre for almost one year, I have purposely waited this long to write a review so that I would have a complete picture.

She speaks very highly of them. They show a keen interest in her likes and what she gets up to at home. I delight in the daily updates I get from them and all activities are well thought out. My daughter loves coming into childcare centre each day to see her friends and the team alike. All team are very welcoming and loving towards my daughter.

You are updated throughout the day of activities and what your kid has been doing. They have an app which is updated regularly and team has consistently been cheerful to give an update on pick up. They do educational activities throughout the day. The food is healthy. Overall, I am very cheerful with the team and the care at this childcare centre.

The team are remarkable and really care about the kids. They get up to so much in one day and it feels like a home from home setting. Our little boy absolutely loves it and gets excited to go to childcare centre in the morning. They also get such a variety of food to try which I am really pleased about. We are so cheerful with The Butterfly Patch South Norwood.

As a first-time parent, transitioning back to full time work after being on maternity leave was a big milestone, but the team at the Butterfly Patch made it so much easier due to the kindness, diligence and care they demonstrated, and continue to demonstrate on a daily basis to the kids who attend there. The childcare centre manager is remarkable and has the outstanding skill of being able to hold high expectations (running a tight ship) whilst maintaining inviting and positive relationships with kids, team and parents. Our daughter’s key workers are intuitive, attentive and invested, and it’s excellent to have an open line of updates through the Famly App. We are so pleased that we found a local childcare centre that was so aligned with our philosophy and approach. Thank you! Our daughter has been at The Butterfly Patch for 8 months now – since she was 13 months old – and I have been so pleased with our choice!

The branch manager and the team take such great care of our son that he consistently goes in and comes out cheerful. The team is consistently on top of everything. The premises are super spotless and their activities are meticulously planned every day with daily updates on their app. They are prompt in responding and ensure parents are given the assurance they need, sometimes multiple times. The team is expert and inviting at the same time which is a rare thing to find. They also discuss and share kids’s developmental milestones and hold parent meetings to discuss all key milestones. We are extremely cheerful and sense lucky to have Butterfly Patch near our home as wouldn’t think of any other childcare centre after experiencing such class service. Our son has been in the childcare centre for a year now and I can comfortably say it is a secure haven for our son.

    Please be aware:
The childcare centre only offers half a day of government funded hours at a time, even if you are entitled to 30 hours. If you need a whole day of childcare you will have to continue to pay for it when your hours kick in.
They also charge for a whole half term of hours at a time, so if you want to change to another childcare centre to get a full day’s care, they may not transfer your hours.
If you are parent who needs government funded hours to work a full day – as I am – you won’t be able to access that at this childcare centre. We have attended the Butterfly Patch for some time.

They are so informative, supportive and attentive towards her. The childcare centre is a welcoming setting with my daughter discovering so much, she is so clever and has picked up so many skills since she started coming to the Butterfly Patch. It is one of the best decisions we made for our daughter. I am so cheerful with the decision to start bringing our daughter to the Butterfly Patch. All the team at South Norwood are incredible and I’m very grateful. This childcare centre has the best manager along with the key worker that has looked after my daughter since she started coming when she was 4 months old.

I have been very cheerful with his development and his development since. He is trying food he does not eat at home and is cheerful to try new foods.
Since leaving his previous childcare centre, he has come on in leaps and bounds. He has a excellent bond with the manager and the team team alike. The childcare centre is very welcoming and homely. My son’s experiences have been so varied and he enjoys his time there so much, coming home talking nonstop about what he has been up to during the day. My son started in November 2021.

The team go above and beyond every day. A creative approach to discovering which has given him a fantastic imagination and wide vocabulary. I was recommended and I have recommended others who have been just as pleased. Our little boy loves attending.

He looks forward to attending the childcare centre and enjoys taking part in activities; along with speaking fondly of certain members of team. I sense that the professionalism of the team (especially at the top) has allowed my grandson to flourish and grow.

The team have been so fantastic in helping her to settle in and I can tell that now she has settled, she’s enjoying her time there. There are plenty of enjoyable and educational activities and the menu for her meals is remarkable. The team really seem to care for the kids in a way that goes above and beyond standard childcare – it feels like a little family. Plenty of attention is also being paid to my daughter’s development and I sense confident that she is consistently discovering. The Butterfly Patch is a lovely and funky space that really feels like a home from home for our one-year-old daughter.

The team are very welcoming and welcoming. Our daughter loves coming to the childcare centre here. The app the team use is very informative and keeps us up to date throughout the day. Staff are very attentive to kids’s and parents’ questions. We are extremely cheerful with this childcare centre.
Absolutely adore the hours that they provide and the fact that they offer term time places, as well as a ‘people who help us’ discount! Wonderful care for our daughter.

The remarkable culture means conversations regarding our kid’s routine and settling in have been positive and constructive rather than awkward and defensive, which has been really refreshing. We’re really cheerful we’ve sent our kid here! The culture is really positive – I sense confident that the team are cheerful to work there and are loving towards my kid, which is very reassuring.

They know the kids well, are very compassionate and build genuine relationships with them. There’s a great range of indoor and outdoor activities planned each day, and a variety of healthy food is served. Communication is great, through the use of the app I can see when my kid has napped, what they’ve eaten and also photos of activities they’ve completed. The team at the childcare centre are extremely approachable and consistently strive to meet the needs of parents and kids.

The team look very well after our kids and go above and beyond to ensure that the right routine is followed and that the kids are cheerful. As a parent, I am consistently comfortable leaving my kids at the childcare centre and knowing that they are in great hands. During the day they both complete a set of varied activities, receive healthy food and get excellent care. My eldest one consistently comes home with new knowledge and an expanded vocabulary. You can consistently rely on the head of the childcare centre and her team that pro-actively tackle any requests, regarding the wellbeing of the kids. Both my kids are at the Butterfly Patch in South Norwood and we absolutely adore it.

When I went inside the place, it was very nice and I can see the kids are very cheerful. Especially my son, he has really improved and I am very, very impressed. I really like the way they treat the parents and the kids – they are well organized.
