The Ark Day Nursery

The care provided by the team is outstanding, and we have the greatest respect for the work and care they provide. Our daughter started in September 2020, and even though she had no social interaction prior to this due to lockdown, she settled in with such ease. The team make everything so seamless, and we sense fully involved and informed throughout the time she attends. The adore, assistance and passion they have for the kids are incredible. Thank you for all you do. We would never have sent our daughter anywhere else.

She has truly come on in her development and seems to adore it at childcare centre. We are truly cheerful with it and all the lovely team. She seems to delight in the food and activities too. Exceptional journey of The Ark Day Childcare centre so far.

The childcare centre building is recently built, so nice new facilities. It has outdoor playtime space but this is primarily tarmac space with no countryside/green spaces. My kids delight in attending and like the welcoming and obliging team. They do great interactive and creative activities. Disappointingly, they no longer offer a 3pm short day rate for new entrants which is not ideal when existing siblings are on a 3pm collection and shows a reduction in their flexibility. The Ark is a great all-round childcare centre.

He’s consistently doing different activities and the updates is second to none with the app that they use to keep us updated throughout the day. The team are all so welcoming and exceptional with the kids. I would suggest The Ark Day Nursery to anyone needing childcare facilities. It’s just outstanding. My little boy is three and a half and has been going to The Ark Day Nursery since he was nine months old and he just loves it!

At every drop-off, she smiles at the employees, giving us total self‑assurance that her time here is a cheerful and enjoyable one.
Any updates is done clearly and effectively, and all the members of team are welcoming and bubbly. Definitely suggest this childcare centre to anybody considering it! Our daughter loves her time at childcare centre.

I would definitely suggest The Ark to others. My daughter started with The Ark in Spring 2020, since then, she has progressed so much in all aspects of development.

Firstly, the facilities are spotless and well catered for each age group. The Ark team are all fabulous, welcoming, approachable and go out of their way to provide for the kids’s every want and need. My 5-year-old son currently attends after school and full days during holiday periods. The team do an incredible scheme – full of practical, educational activities whilst also enjoying trips out to local amenities. My son has thrived since attending The Ark and thoroughly enjoys his time here. It is very evident why The Ark remains in such high demand. They go above and beyond, and I could not suggest the team highly enough. This childcare centre is 1st class in every way.

However, the team at the Ark have been so welcoming and he has settled into childcare centre life so much better than I could ever have expected. He is so cheerful every day at childcare centre and the photos on Facebook are excellent to show us all the different activities that he is getting involved in. Our family have all noticed how his self‑assurance has improved since being at childcare centre. My 12-month-old son recently started at the Ark and following numerous lockdowns, was highly upset at being with anyone apart from Mummy and Daddy.

Our daughter loves it and is consistently excited to go! The team are all lovely and so welcoming. We are highly cheerful that we chose The Ark Day Childcare centre! This is a fabulous childcare centre.

Both my kids were not supposed to be put on social media but there has been incidents where photos have been added to social media by mistake. Not best pleased but quickly removed when I notified them and apologies made. One of my daughters is dairy free, the team make sure meals and snacks are dairy free for her but some of the food options have seemed limited with tea time meals. I sense the childcare centre is a little manipulative with their prices in relation to funded hours, my kid has to go two full days a week to be entitled to the fifteen hours free kid care and would have to go three full days if I wanted the thirty free hours. This seems an unfair ratio having seven and a half hours daily funded across two days versus ten hours daily funded across three days. It feels unfair that due to working less hours I have to pay more for my kid care! Overall care for my kids has been outstanding, even with a change over of team, everyone is welcoming and welcoming and my kids have enjoyed their time at The Ark Day Childcare centre.

My son has gone through most of the rooms and has enjoyed it very much. My daughter will be starting in the new year, and I sense cheerful and content they are well looked after. During Covid times, the kids missed out on socialising, but they are excellent at encouraging development and interaction, and this has helped when kids only got to see their parents… This is remarkable a daycare and a really excellent team of girls. This is a secure and very welcoming setting, and the team at The Ark are remarkable.

It is excellent getting updates throughout the day on the app, so I can see what he is up to, what’s he’s eaten, etc. I would highly suggest The Ark to my friends and family! The Ark have a remarkable set-up, the team are lovely, and most importantly, I sense comfortable leaving my son there knowing that he is being well looked after.

The activities are varied and excellent, and the food is a great variety. We are highly cheerful with our kid’s development and the feedback we receive from the team.

Can’t praise the team enough for their patience and care. I have full self‑assurance the kids are in the best care. I thought the change of management would be stressful to my son, but if anything it’s made him happier. Highly cheerful. This childcare centre works so well with my son who has discovering difficulties.

Being my first kid, I was worried about having to leave him, however, the team and atmosphere at The Ark were immediately welcoming and calming, and leaving my baby on his first day was not as stressful or as tearful as I imagined, as I knew he was being well looked after. The Ark send lots of updates throughout the day, so I know when he’s eating, sleeping, and pictures of him playing, excellent seeing him so cheerful and content, which makes mummy cheerful and content too. Highly suggest The Ark! My 9-month-old has just started The Ark a few weeks ago.

My kid has attended since she was 4 months old and I’ve found the team have truly helped her develop and grow into the confident kid she is. Updates is great and policies are clear. I would highly suggest to anyone. The Ark Day Childcare centre is a lovely setting and you can truly see how much the team care for the kids.

All the team are lovely. It’s so great to go to work and know that the kids are cheerful and well looked after. Nothing is a problem for the team. My youngest has had health problems from birth, and The Ark has been really supportive in catering for his needs.
I sense totally informed anytime the kids are there with excellent updates on the family app and photos. It’s lovely to see them developing alongside their peers. Great friendships made. The Ark Day childcare centre is incredible!

I moved my son to them once they opened, and he stayed until finishing primary school, and he loved every single day he spent there. My daughter went in at one and is in the after schools room already! The inviting welcome you receive from the team is second to none. I felt completely confident leaving my kids there from day one. The care and attention they receive are outstanding, there are endless enjoyable activities, so much so, that getting your kid out the door at home time can be difficult. To me, that says it all, home from home care, what more would you want! I cannot suggest The Ark Day Nursery enough.

I felt totally at ease, dropping my son off for the first time. Upon visiting the childcare centre, it was spotless, tidy and well laid out with lots of stimulating, educational areas and displays for the kids. My son comes home each day with a cheerful attitude, he reports what he has learnt and enjoyed in the day. He brings home artwork, baking and crafts regularly. The team report back daily, for example, he is quite fussy with food so they keep me in the loop with what he has eaten that day. The lunches are great, balanced and healthy. Upon pick up, I am given a paper report with an outline of my sons day, what he has had for snacks and lunch, what he has been discovering, what books he has been reading and what letters, numbers and shapes the class are focusing on that week so that we can practice at home. The childcare centre is flexible and reliable, and the kids are cheerful and settled. My son truly enjoys his childcare centre days and loves the team and the other kids. The team are compassionate and attentive.

All the team are so lovely and welcoming and as a parent, this makes me sense so comfortable leaving my little girl in their hands. I adore how spotless the setting is and the photo updates we receive throughout the week. Overall, I am exceptionally cheerful with the choice of childcare centre I have made. My little girl has only just started the childcare centre but has settled in so well.
