September 19, 2024 at 8:31 amMy son is only in the baby room but grins every time we arrive there which says it all. He had come on leaps and bounds since starting and the team are absolutely lovely and know him so well. What sets it apart for me is the fabulous outdoor space. Having moved from central London I just adore that he can be outside so much of the day and the outdoor classroom for preschool looks fantastic. It’s also more affordable than other local nurseries which means a broad range of families can attend which is excellent. I am so delighted with Thames Tiddlers.

September 22, 2024 at 11:37 amIt’s been excellent thanks to the fantastic team. I am very positive about this childcare centre overall. It would be excellent if they could organise more outings. My eldest kid had the opportunities to visit the local zoo and museum. Recently they don’t do as many outings now as they did before. We have used Thames Tiddlers childcare centre since January 2014.

September 30, 2024 at 5:04 pmThe team are very approachable and keep parents well informed about how the kids are getting on. A range of activities are done and they spend a lot of time outside. The team have a lovely way with the kids and are very dedicated. We have two kids at the childcare centre and I have been very cheerful with the care they have received.

October 5, 2024 at 12:50 amEvery educator shows a lot of kindness to my son, who can sometimes struggle with leaving me (mummy) at drop-off, but overall he loves his days at the childcare centre. I have noticed big leaps in his development as he has come up through the baby room, and I know that a lot of it is helped by the team at Thames Tiddlers. The team have consistently been open to my comments and questions, and they are helping to tackle things with me, such as reducing my son’s use of his dummy and bunny toy. We have consistently been a fan of the open setting, which allows the kids to playtime in and outside as they wish, and allows them to playtime with natural objects and experimental toys, rather than just the usual plastic toys etc. My son loves attending Thames Tiddlers and has made a best friend in his key worker – as well as the other educators in the baby room.

October 24, 2024 at 10:38 amMy kids loved the outside space, the free flow, natural resources and closeness to nature. I really like their teaching methods and their core values. I greatly appreciate the fact that they plan every day according to the kids’s interests. They teach the kids independence and also to playtime nicely in groups. In pre-school, the level of education is exceptional. My daughter finished pre-school with being able to write her name, numbers to 10, count to 20 and know a lot about space, gardening, animals etc. She was able to describe what Saturn looks like or what did Neil Armstrong do in space. My boy learnt how to playtime football, his fine motor skills developed a lot, he learnt to adore drawing, and both learnt English in the childcare centre and they were fluent by the age of 3. (Joining at age 2 with no English) Huge thank you to all the team for their dedication too. I’d highly suggest Thames Tiddlers childcare centre to fellow parents/guardians.

December 11, 2024 at 10:27 pmWe have been really impressed with the warmth and care the team have shown her. The Reggio Emilia approach they use has been fabulous for fostering creativity, self‑assurance and an appreciation of nature in our daughter. The curriculum is consistently rich and full of new activities that make our daughter adore going to childcare centre. Our four-year-old daughter has been at Thames Tiddlers Childcare centre since she was ten months old.

December 12, 2024 at 12:08 amShe’s consistently excited to talk about what she’s done, who she has played with and what’s she’s discovering about. We adore seeing the new skills she is discovering and hearing all the new language she is picking up. We sense she gets so much out of her days at childcare centre and sense very lucky that she is so cheerful there. My daughter really enjoys going to childcare centre, she’s cheerful to go in the morning and loves the team who work with her.

December 26, 2024 at 10:22 amAll team I sense are aware of my son’s ways and needs, consistently very attentive, consistently give excellent detail on my son’s actions and activities of the day. I adore the updates I receive on the tapestry. My son loves going to childcare centre now, he has learnt so much being there and all team are excellent! My son was very unsettled when starting childcare centre for the first time, however the team all accommodated both he and I to ensure he settled and within a month he was fine.

January 11, 2025 at 5:07 pmIt took him a while to settle in at 20 months of age, but once he settled he never looked back – we are lucky if we get a goodbye at drop off! Team are welcoming and easy to talk to and I know my son is cared for very well. His physical, emotional and verbal development has accelerated greatly, and we know he’ll be prepared for primary school next year. My son has been attending Thames Tiddlers for 18 months and we thoroughly suggest the childcare centre.

March 3, 2025 at 6:54 amThe team are inviting and enthusiastic. The venue is well kept, spotless and full of remarkable equipment to interest and excite the kids. They offer a variety of different activities which allows the kids to express their individual interests. The meals are according to my kids better than my offerings!. I would highly suggest Thames Tiddlers Childcare centre. Both my sons have attended Thames Tiddlers and I have consistently been very pleased with the level of care they have received there.

March 9, 2025 at 5:49 amThe team work tirelessly to keep the kids stimulated and secure.
They have created a fantastic natural setting for kids to explore and learn and we sense very fortunate to have this Reggio Emilia inspired childcare centre in our neighbourhood.
Keep up the great work Thames Tiddlers. Thames Tiddlers is a lovely childcare centre.

April 2, 2025 at 11:06 pmHe has the best time and loves going. The team are very welcoming and very expert. My little boy consistently comes home with plenty to tell me about his day and everything he has done. I am so cheerful with how my son has progressed since starting. I wouldn’t want him to go anywhere else. Team will consistently find the time where possible to inform you of everything they think you should need to know. My son’s speech is incredible for his age and is very sociable. I believe the team playtime a huge part in this and cannot thank them enough for what they do. My little boy has been attending Thames Tiddlers Childcare centre since he was 8 months old.

April 29, 2025 at 8:47 amShe goes three days a week and I think the shaping of her character and personality is partly growing from her time there. She is free to express herself and explore. In a ‘morning proposal’ she can put her thoughts across about what themes she would like to explore that day. There are a variety of indoor and outdoor activities that honour chosen themes, and Atelier artists to nurture creativity. She has made great friends there and team seem to really know her, which I adore. Tapestry updates me on her development and she usually spends much of her time outdoors, mucking about in the garden, forest school or climbing and building things. I’m so glad I found this place and I think the memories we’ll have from here will remain long after she’s gone. My daughter has attended Thames Tiddlers since September 2017.

July 1, 2025 at 7:46 amOur son beams when we come to pick him up and we’ve been delighted by how well all the educators in his room – not just his key worker (who is fab!) – know him and care for him with so much heart. I adore the write-ups we get through the parents’ app which have allowed us to continue his discovering at home and also keep in close touch with his key worker. He’s our only little one and, in an ideal world, we’d adore to be with him all the time – but we have to work and I can honestly say that any sadness I sense about leaving him for the workday goes away when I see how cheerful he is, discovering and growing at Thames Tiddlers. Really sense lucky to have Thames Tiddlers in our neighbourhood. Our family is absolutely in adore with Thames Tiddlers.
