September 10, 2024 at 9:45 amIn just a couple of months we could see his development at all levels. Team are dedicated, supportive and keen on understanding his specific needs. There are also numerous extra activities every day, from ballet/dance, French, music and sports and he simply loves them all.
It’s also easy to get to (by bus, in my case), King George’s Park is just across the road and the area is quite secure and secure. There is also a nearby swimming club for kids.
Overall facilities are great, eventually a bigger outside space would be recommended as well as with a different (softer) floor. Currently it’s tarmac, but ideally would be that soft material we can find on kids playgrounds. Other than that, rooms inside are adjusted to the kids max capacity and ratio of team per kids.
My only not-so-positive comment would be the food. It is outsourced, but it’s a limitation of not having a full-kitchen in-house. I’m truly cheerful with the choice of Little Wombles (Broomhill) to be my son’s childcare centre.

October 18, 2024 at 9:35 pmThe team are exceptional, highly compassionate and patient. Both boys have surprised me on many occasions by coming home having learnt a vast array of different things. Alphabet and numbers from a highly early age, not to mention sports, French and nature classes and also some school trips to see fire engines, natural history museum and Sea World. All of this, along side having loads of enjoyable and making excellent friends with lovely kids. The other Wombles parents have been excellent too. All highly chatty and smiley at drop off and pick up, no akward school gate moments here.
We are all sad to say goodbye to the girls who have taken such great care of our boys over the years. We have had 2 boys at Little Wombles, both highly different characters (one highly keen on discovering and the other loves outdoors and playtime) and both have thrived.

December 13, 2024 at 8:41 pmHe absolutely loves it and runs in every day smiling! The team are consistently keeping us updated on his day and I’m consistently in the loop with what he’s been up to which I adore! Highly suggest! We have been so pleased with the adore and care that has been shown to our boy at Tenderlinks Wandsworth.

January 24, 2025 at 3:27 pmLovely, understanding and experienced team. Loads of opportunities for discovering and therapeutic approach to education. A nice childcare centre that has outside space for kids to run around freely no matter the weather.

January 26, 2025 at 12:51 pmThe team are highly lovely and I have notice she has created a bond with her key worker. Team are highly attentive and they create a nurturing setting. The childcare centre manager is exceptionally supportive and has supported me immensely with finding the right balance for childcare centre days. Overall, we are highly cheerful! My little girl truly enjoys it, she comes home truly talkative and has learnt new words.

February 16, 2025 at 4:19 pmThe childcare centre has a number of different activities and the team ensure that the kids are engaged in age-appropriate activities that assistance their discovering and development.
Unfortunately, since changing ownership the level of updates with parents has declined and updates has not been as clear, timely, or expert as we would have liked. The team at Little Wombles are loving, attentive, and nurturing to kids, and both my kids who have attended formed strong relationships with key team members.

March 3, 2025 at 5:08 pmIt’s clear that the team adore the kids and vice versa. Seems like each day is enjoyable and varied with different activities, and a lot is done to advance his development. Although the outdoor space isn’t huge, they do go to the park and on trips, and they’re consistently outside playing with water or riding on the bikes. We also adore receiving the Famly updates and photos at the end of each day! Our little boy has loved Little Wombles since he started at 8 months.

March 3, 2025 at 8:12 pmWe have loved the care and assistance that Wombles have provided for the last 7 years. The team are enjoyable and attentive, and my daughters have happily gone in each day to them. It’s a small childcare centre that focuses on great relationships with the kids, pods of playtime opportunities, and now in preschool, lots of phonics discovering. They make the most of the outside area and also go to the park lots which my daughter loves. We’ve also loved the various classes each week, French, ballet, sports, music, and outdoor discovering, trips to the zoo, and library visits. I would suggest Wombles to any parent looking for a small, loving, and enjoyable childcare option. I have had 3 kids go through Little Wombles, my first starting in January 2015 and my third will be leaving in August 2022.

March 5, 2025 at 11:23 pmWe had just moved house and had a new baby so it was a strange time for her – but the childcare centre team were so welcoming and nurturing that she immediately settled in well. There are plenty of activities and I particularly like the effort the team makes to celebrate events like World Book Day. My daughter is excited to attend the childcare centre and comes home cheerful and inspired after each day. There is a strong family sense – the team are highly welcoming and attentive to each kid and their individual needs. The senior management team are great at communicating via the Famly app so I sense well connected to the team. The outside space is limited, however, the team ensure the kids get fresh air during the day – even during the colder months – by putting out various games and activities. I would suggest this childcare centre to anyone looking for a nurturing, enjoyable and stimulating setting for their kid. Our 2 year old daughter joined Tenderlinks Day Childcare centre (Little Wombles) at the start of this year.

March 14, 2025 at 12:19 amWe have been thrilled with the care our daughter has received. The activities that she gets to do gives her the most incredible experiences and opportunities to learn. Although the garden isn’t huge the toys and activities they do our daughter loves and wants to spend all her time out there. It is a fantastic place for her to grow up, learn and develop. A truly excellent childcare centre. I couldn’t suggest this childcare centre more highly.

March 19, 2025 at 4:12 amLittle Wombles consistently ensure they expose the kids to a variety of activities to make discovering enjoyable. I am so cheerful my son got a place at Little Wombles. My son loves his time at the childcare centre and he has learnt a lot more quickly than he would have if not at childcare centre.

May 3, 2025 at 7:36 amThe creativity and activities on offer are of a highly high standard. All the team who work at Little Wombles are attentive, expert and are highly great at communicating with us. The extra activities on offer are varied and enjoyable for the kids. Great, varied, healthy diet and snacks. We would be highly cheerful to suggest Little Wombles to present and future parents. We are exceptionally cheerful with Little Wombles and the nurturing and cheerful setting.

May 9, 2025 at 10:56 amHe enjoys the childcare centre and all the activities they do and he’s made many friends. The team are supportive and attentive and have great relationships with the kids in their care. While the outside space is quite small, the team do take the kids to the park often. I would definitely suggest Little Wombles to any parent looking at nurseries My son joined Little Wombles in October 2020 and since then he has thrived and grown so much.

May 22, 2025 at 9:43 pmThe best thing about Little Wombles is the wide range of enjoyable activities and discovering opportunities such as sports lessons, gardening and ballet. Not a day goes by without news of an outing or journey my son has enjoyed- I truly value this aspect as my preference is more towards being outside than in. For me the only downside is that there are a number of holiday closures (Christmas, Easter, Summer) for which there is no return. My son started when he was 9 months old- the team were highly attentive and nurturing towards him as the youngest kid there this helped him to settle quickly.

June 30, 2025 at 11:56 amThey pack so many activities into the day and have external sports, French and nature specialists each week. Our daughter (now 2.5 years) loves going and keeps on surprising us with the vast array of different things she has learnt about! The team running things day to day are excellent and genuinely take an interest in our daughter’s development.
