Teddies Tots Day Nursery

I’ve had an overall positive experience to date with Teddies Tots. My assessment is based on the perceived level of happiness of my child and general observed wholesome development in key areas such as speech, interest in academics, creativity and curiosity as well as sociability. I’d also like to add that interactions with staff has been excellent with a seamless dual communication flow. They have been great with exercising flexibility when requests were made for consultations to address concerns and provide peace of mind.

My daughter attends the preschool class at Teddies Tots Day Nursery. From the beginning, I could tell that the staff take their role as caregivers, teachers and protectors very seriously. They offer a warm, comforting environment for my daughter, who comes out smiling every single time. I love the structure that they have during their week, the learning theme/plan for the week ahead for everyone, as well as their individual goals for each child, to help work on certain skills that may benefit from being strengthened. They clearly want what’s best for the children there and put their all into making the children’s day feel happy.

I can definitely recommend this nursery – the staff have been amazing and my son has enjoyed it from day one. It was daunting finding a nursery for my son being a first-time mum but I am so glad we chose Teddies Tots. He is coming on in leaps and bounds! The app they use is great; it’s reassuring to be able to check in to see what he’s been up to in terms of his activities and even to see what and how much he has eaten/slept throughout the day. It’s very comforting when you’re working full-time to know that your child is having a great day at nursery!

My baby started at Teddies Tots back in December and we are absolutely delighted with every aspect of this nursery. There are always plenty of learning experiences happening and we receive regular photos/videos of these. Our little girl bounces in every morning and when we collect her she is always smiling. She has only attended for a short while but we can already see how she is beginning to hit new milestones in her learning. I cannot thank the friendly staff enough for helping our little girl settle in so quickly. Teddies Tots really is a special place.

Fantastic nursery. The team do a brilliant job of settling in new children such as my daughter, she has taken to the change in such an easy manner due to the care and attention the staff give to all the children. The activities they plan are diverse and well-resourced. They have excellent meal facilities and the children seem to eat a very varied and interesting range of foods. The communication is excellent, with detailed run-downs of what meals and naps they have had and at what times.
I can thoroughly recommend Teddy Tots to any and all.

Teddies is an incredible learning and growing environment for young children. There is so much thought given to each week’s development plans and the children seem to really engage with all the activities

Teddies Tots Day Nursery is one of the best nurseries, if not the best nursery in Watford. My little one loves it there, she is so happy going in the door each day. She has been in Teddies since before she turned one, she is now three. She has built such a good relationship with all the staff there. All of our family live in Ireland so it is hard but Teddies Tots are like our family here in Watford and have made life so much easier. My little girl loves all the different activities they do each day. Any questions I have about how to manage situations with my little one’s behaviour at home are answered and I am given advice to help which I am so grateful for. Honestly, every staff member has helped me at one stage or another during our time in Teddies. I cannot rate Teddies Tots enough.

Teddies Tots is an excellent nursery with fantastic staff. They are extremely friendly and helpful. They regularly keep us informed via the app on our child’s days at nursery. This is insightful as first-time parents as to how our child progresses and how she has settled in.
The children are well-stimulated and always keen to share their latest arts and crafts with us.

I am so happy with everything that Teddies Tots offers our child and even the support they offer us as parents.
They always have so many fun and educational activities for the children and regularly post updates so we can see the fun that they are having.
They write up regular reviews of how our child is developing and all the new things she is doing/finding an interest in.
Even when our child has had a challenging day, they are so pleasant and calm in the way that the staff deal and interact with our child as well as how they pass messages onto us. It’s really refreshing and always positive. They are always happy to share how they deal with things which help us at home so that we can keep the boundaries and expectations consistent wherever she may be.
My daughter has developed so many new skills during her time at the nursery (just over a year now) and she runs in every day with a huge smile on her face. So she clearly is just as big of a fan as we are!

My son started in January 2023 and I have been very impressed with the care and effort the nursery go to for his development and learning. They update weekly the learning and plans for the next week and update the app frequently with pictures. He has settled well and is very happy in his room and seems comfortable with the staff which is reassuring. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.
