Sunshine Montessori Nursery (Wheeler End)

We have our new baby’s name down to start this September and didn’t even consider sending her anywhere else. The atmosphere was warm‑hearted and approachable, and the kids were always content. We stayed with Sunshine all the way through, and the top room team did a fantastic job at prepping my daughter for centre. My daughter attended Sunshine full-time from the age of 13 months, and we had a fantastic experience.

Menus are changed often, and kids are given a wide variety of foods to try. It has excellent facilities, and although lacking a ‘grassy’ outdoor area, this is compensated by regular walks and visits to the local forest centre, allotment and nearby fields. The team are a real asset to the nursery. They are remarkable with the kids and offer a real nurturing, kind, content setting. We’ve been at Sunshine for a number of years now.

Over the years, we have also seen the nursery grow. Sunshine is an incredible place. We have not looked back since. More than six years ago, we made the frankly nerve-wracking decision of where to send our older daughter to nursery. At times we struggled to get them home‑like in the evening because they wanted to stay longer playing with their friends and the nursery practitioners. Kids grow, and you feel they are truly adored and cared for. They take on feedback and constantly thrive to improve. If we would have another little one, we would not hesitate to send them to Sunshine as well. We decided on Sunshine because from the first minute, I walked into the nursery, I felt it was right. Soon for us, it will be the end of our Sunshine time, when my youngest goes to centre, knowing that Sunshine has supported both my kids so amazingly in their early childhood and helped to give them the best possible start.

We truly do regard Sunshine as an extension of our family. We adore Sunshine and couldn’t rate it highly enough. They are stimulated and challenged every day. The Montessori way of teaching works extremely well, and the team do a fantastic job tailoring the theory to each and every youngster. When our eldest left the nursery and went to centre, they transitioned perfectly with no problems – this was a credit to Sunshine for preparing them so well. The little ones adore it too. The team are so nurturing and considerate – you feel so secure knowing your kids are in their hands. We’ve had kids at Sunshine for over 6.5 years.

The team go above and beyond to treat your youngster in a nurturing and nurturing way which helps them to thrive in this brilliantly equipped setting. Due to the delightful location, the opportunities the kids get include things such as weekly Forest Centre sessions, educational walks to the local farm shop and visits to people in the local community. The weekly topics and content of the sessions are varied and provide the kids with the chance to explore and develop in a enjoyable and engaging way. Both my kids have attended the nursery between 2018 to the present. All these are invaluable experiences, and you can tell the kids adore their little trips out, either on foot or in the buggy. I can’t highly recommend Sunshine enough, and I think the fact that my husband and I felt emotional when our eldest moved up to centre says alot about what a special relationship you develop with the Sunshine family. Sunshine Montessori Nursery is such as an extension of our home‑like and family.

It extremely much feels such as a family and my son loves spending his days there. Over the years, the team have truly helped my son develop and have even provided extra caregiving, assistance or help where needed. I cannot thank them enough. He particularly enjoys forest centre and thrives under the Montessori ethos. Sunshine Montessori Nursery is a remarkable nursery; the team genuinely caregiving and cannot do enough for the kids – nothing is a hassle for them.

The team show genuine caregiving for the kids. Both of my kids have been in Sunshine from the baby room upward. The caregiving and development are extremely excellent, and opportunities for outside development, including forest centre, are outstanding.
