They have looked after 3 of my kids with no complaints. Kids consistently come home cheerful and spotless. Sunshine Day Childcare centre is incredible.

The childcare centre team are highly supportive and nurturing, helping to promote independence from a young age and encouraging her to become a social and inquisitive individual.
The childcare centre has been flexible and accommodating to my various changing working patterns and requests for additional days.
Being an NHS team member, there has been the added bonus of being able to pay through salary sacrifice. My daughter has been at Sunshine Day childcare centre since March 2020 and has thoroughly enjoyed her time there.

The team were remarkable from the initial phone call to see if they had a place. Truly efficient at getting paperwork to us and getting her started as quickly as possible. My daughter absolutely loves going; she adores all the team and has had a remarkable journey all through her time there. She will truly miss it when she leaves for school. Updates is outstanding between parents and team, and they have consistently been truly welcoming and supportive. Exceptional childcare centre. My daughter spent six months at this childcare centre after her’s was unexpectedly closed.

My eldest daughter went and had such a exceptional time, the team are all fantastic and truly listen and do everything they can to ensure your kids are cheerful, I didn’t hesitate in putting my youngest daughter in Sunshine Day Childcare centre.

We have consistently been highly pleased with the care that team provide; they are consistently welcoming and engage well with the kids, truly getting to know their likes and dislikes. They nurture the kids’s imagination and inquisitive nature, facilitating discovering through a wide range of themes and activities.
Facilities are consistently spotless, look interesting and are age-appropriate. Despite the outdoor area being relative limited for the number of kids there, there is a great variety of equipment and toys, and they are regularly outside during the day.
Updates with key workers is great with regular reviews of kids’s development. Updates with the office has consistently been highly great over email or the phone.
Overall, we have been highly confident that the kids are cheerful, secure and well stimulated, and we will miss our childcare centre days! Both my kids have attended Sunshine Day Childcare centre from ages 1-4, and so they have been a big part of our family life since 2015.

The team consistently smile and make parents and kids sense at ease. The management team are outstanding and go above and beyond. This childcare centre is a God send! Sunshine is a truly exemplary setting.

Staff are taking very great care of the kids. I sense quite secure leaving my kid there; knowing that his day will be full of activities and loads of enjoyable. The team are consistently inviting, welcoming and attentive.
The atmosphere is fantastic and you can see the enjoyable the kids have every time you drop them off and collect them.
The activities and playtime are varied and engaging and consistently a topic of conversation when our son is at home. We are confident and secure in the knowledge that our kid is in such a inviting, nurturing setting. Our son is so cheerful at Sunshine Childcare centre.

The team were welcoming, compassionate and nurturing. He truly enjoyed attending, loving his days there, full of smiles.
The team were highly communicative with us as parents, and despite having to cope with difficulties during Covid and us not being able to go into the building, they still kept us regularly informed about his development.
The childcare centre developed a mobile app during our time there so we could see photos and see when he napped, had a nappy change and what he ate, which was truly nice to be able to read.
If ever we needed to change his days or hours, the management were highly swift to respond and highly understanding and accommodating.
Our son only spent three months in preschool before moving to another venue, so I cannot comment on the preschool provision.
I would highly suggest this childcare centre for up to 3 years prior to pre-school. My son had a fantastic two years in Raindrops and Rainbows, from May 2019 to June 2022.

Covid had happened, and she hadn’t had much interaction with other kids and hadn’t truly been without mum or dad. She had three settling-in days, on the first one, she pretty much cried the whole time! But after that, she settled highly quickly. I can safely say this is because of the adore and assistance that she received from all of the fantastic team there. She is now in preschool and is about to leave to go to infant school. The team are fabulous in preschool. We wouldn’t be leaving unless we had to! My daughter will miss everyone! It is also highly useful to be able to pay for the fees through the salary sacrifice scheme, as payments are automatically deducted from your wage. I would highly suggest this childcare centre. My daughter started at Sunshine Day Childcare centre two years ago.

Our kids have settled in really well, made excellent friends and delight in going in every day. The standards of care and discovering are outstanding, and we will be sad to leave Sunshine behind when our kids move on to school. Sunshine is a remarkable childcare centre.

My one gripe is the continuing need to wait in a queue for the kids to be bought down one by one at pick up, apart from that, everything else (updates, standard of care, discovering, facilities, the activities the kids do, etc) is top-notch. Truly, truly cheerful with everything the childcare centre does.

I sense they’re an extended family and my kids adore going to Nursery. The development my kids have made, the assistance I have been given from the childcare centre for new routines and advice has been exceptional.
I’m lucky enough that my kids are young enough to stay here for the future.

She has consistently enjoyed her time at the setting and the team have consistently been supportive, supportive and flexible. My daughter has been to Sunshine Day Nursery since she was 5 months old and is now 10 years old.

My son joined Sunshine day childcare centre in January 2022. At this time he has just moved from Egypt and my main worry was adapting with a new culture and language. He joined buttercups for eight months before doing preschool for another year and he is about to go to school now. The assistance and adore he was given made his transition much easier. He loved going to childcare centre for the almost two years. He enjoyed the place, activities and he developed social and hand skills. He is fluent in two languages now (for his age for sure) and I believe the assistance he got throughout his time there was crucial for him and his self‑assurance. When my son needed eye-patching as part of his treatment they also looked after him highly well. Because we are Muslims they gave him a diet that matched our beliefs. Fabulous, ‘I adore going there’, this was my son’s comment and this is why.

The kids are given the opportunity to be involved in many activities every day, including playing outside, in the sensory room, singing, story time and various crafts. However, it’s truly kid-led, so they can decide whether to join in or do their own thing. The app is excellent to see all the things they get up to and photos, but we also get outstanding verbal handovers from the team on how each day has gone. They have been highly pragmatic with illnesses and have let me know when there have been concerns to raise with a GP. The team show a commitment to kid safety, and they carefully monitor who can come into the building/pick up the kids. Three particular ladies have been exceptional and developed a fantastic bond with our kid. I have also interacted with many other team (all lovely), and everyone seems passionate and enthusiastic about their work. Thank you, Sunshine team. My 1-year-old has attended the childcare centre for a couple of months, and I have been so impressed with the care they’ve received.

They truly take care to get to know the kids. My kid consistently comes home full of beans and stories about what he did at childcare centre. He absolutely loved the chicken/chicks they had at childcare centre for a short while. The singalong production which the childcare centre put together was outstanding. The childcare centre has consistently being exceptional, the team are welcoming, compassionate and expert and you can see this within the quality of their work within the setting.
Children constantly have great resources which they have have constant access to and are well looked after at all times. I also adore the fact that they have access to outside every single day no mater the weather which is fab as this kids adore this and the outside areas are excellent as well as indoors.
Not only are the team compassionate but they are also very well‑informed within the areas of the eyfs, this is also reflected within the activities provided for the kids and within reports you receive back for your kid. The team here don’t work here for a ‘job’ they work here because they are passionate about kids and their education and care.
Can’t suggest enough. My daughter has being attending Sunshine Day Nursery since she was just under/over one years of age.

She’s now 3.5 years and is part of the Sunshine family. The team are excellent and have a remarkable relationship with all the kids. They have a lot of activities throughout the week and different age groups which has truly been enjoyed by my daughter. We will miss Sunshine when my daughter starts primary school but it has been a excellent place to get her ready for such a big step. A fantastic childcare centre which my daughter has loved since she was 9 months.

I looked around a couple of other nurseries that were manic and loud, and then I visited Sunshine and couldn’t believe how calm and quiet it was. Throughout his time at childcare centre, he has been so looked after and has loved his educators in every class. I’ll be so sad for him to leave and go to school this year. I truly can’t suggest this childcare centre enough for the care they give the kids and the peace of mind you have as a parent knowing your kid is being so well looked after when you’re not there. My son has been at Sunshine Day Childcare centre since he turned one, and I returned to work.

When he first started he was very emotional, because he had never been away from me. The team reassured him and they were so expert, compassionate, attentive and supportive.
My son loves this childcare centre and adores the team, they are supportive and if you need advice with anything they will help you, they are incredible. My son is going to miss this childcare centre and the team when he goes to school full-time.

Staff are very welcoming and welcoming. My little boy has come on leaps and bounds since starting here.
Couldn’t fault this childcare centre or the team and would highly suggest to anyone. I looked into a lot of nurseries and childminders for my son and came across Sunshine Day Nursery turned up unannounced, everything was remarkable.

Most importantly, my son is cheerful when he arrives and cheerful when he leaves. We have generally been cheerful with the quality of team and openness of the owners. There are same day-to-day areas for improvement but the owners and the manager are receptive to feedback and actively address it. My son enjoys the food and the playtime activity. The team record any incidents that happen to the kids and notify the parents immediately. My son started when he was around 8 months and is still there a year and a half later. We are very cheerful with the childcare centre. The childcare centre is well run and kid-welcoming.

The educators were excellent, especially with my daughter who consistently used to get tearful when we said goodbye. I would definitely suggest the childcare centre. Both my kids went to Sunshine Day Nursery and were very cheerful there.

Before deciding on a childcare centre, I visited Sunshine as well as another childcare centre that had been assessed by Ofsted as ‘Outstanding’ nearer my home. I chose Sunshine Day Childcare centre because, on my initial visit, I witnessed team attentive for the young kids in their care as if they were their own kids. Different parents, will, of course, have different parenting styles and preferences, but what I needed to know when leaving my young kid with unknown people, was that they would provide him with the comfort and security to emotionally manage such a significant change. Not only did my son settle into childcare centre quickly, but I also settled into being back at work quickly because the team supported us both through the transition. He is now four and a half and still has a excellent time at childcare centre. I’m so glad we chose Sunshine. Thank you to all the team in Snowdrops, Buttercups, Preschool and ‘the office’! My son has attended Sunshine Day Childcare centre since he was 10-months and is now leaving to start his school journey.

My first is now at school while my little one still attends the childcare centre. Both my kids were cheerful at the childcare centre, grew in self‑assurance, developed lovely social skills (Eg manners and empathy) and learned a lot (from counting and biscuit making, to say and childcare centre rhymes). The team at the childcare centre are pleasant and provide daily feedback on how my kids did that day. The team are also supportive with developmental milestones (like potty training) and develop great bonds which the kids, which reassured me that my kids were cheerful and content at childcare centre. Both my kids have attended Sunshine Day Nursery.

Never had any issues with the team or the childcare centre.

I could see how much my kid was discovering and developing throughout all her time here, as she would tell me herself.
The only one niggle would be if the educators regularly updated us parents on what my kid could do with improving on eg, writing, spelling, etc – so we could help her more at home. My kid went to this childcare centre from age one to three and a half.

Obviously, this was a highly delicate time for everyone and certainly for me as a first-time Mum returning to work in an unfamiliar world. The team went above and beyond to assistance my son in a childcare centre setting and from that point he has thrived under Sunshine Day Childcare centre’s nurturing. My son took to the handovers truly well and I felt comforted with the relationship he developed with his compassionate key workers. I had great updates via the App as well as regular ‘parents evenings’/emails and calls. My son then transitioned into the 2+ room where he has begun to develop more independence. The childcare centre are highly accommodating with flexible days. All in all the childcare centre offers remarkable value for money.
My son would be going to Sunshine Day Childcare centre’s preschool however our family are relocating. I would definitely suggest the childcare centre! My little boy started at Sunshine Day Childcare centre back in January 2021 after spending the most part of his first year of life inside due to the lockdown.

Watching my kids happily grow with self‑assurance has given me such ease, as a parent we all know hard it is trusting others our kids, but I can honestly say I trust each and every member of team.

All the team from managers, deputy’s and childcare centre assistants are very expert as well as welcoming and reliable. I consistently know exactly what my kids have done throughout the day, who they have played with and what they have eaten.

This childcare centre offers so much for kids for there interaction and socials skills.
They also have a 2build a profile scheme which is incredible for parents to look at their kid’s kids’s development. My daughter has attended this childcare centre everyday since the age of 2 (my daughter is nearly 5) and my son from the age of 6 months (nearly 3 now).
I would suggest this childcare centre to anyone.

I work at the trust/hospital, so it made me sense highly comfortable knowing we were both on the same site. My daughter has slight additional needs, and every single team member has gone above and beyond to make her sense comfortable and at ease whilst being in the childcare centre. Her self‑assurance has grown so much, and she absolutely adores every single worker in there. She will miss it so much, including myself, but the dreaded time has come for her to transition to big school. Thank you, Sunshine, for giving my daughter the best three years whilst being in your care. My daughter started at the childcare centre at one year old, so has been through all three room stages; what a pleasure it has been sending her here.

She is really cheerful there. She can’t wait to go and playtime with her friends. The team is smiling and supportive; the kids learn new skills; the food is varied and delicious. As a parent, I am interested in what she did during the day and I can easily check this in the application, where I can see their program by the hour, and the menu for the day as well. I would adore my young kid also to be attending Sunshine Nursery when the time comes, I highly suggest it! Thanks to the educators and management! My daughter has been attending Sunshine Nursery since October 2020, when she was 19 months old.

The eldest has been coming since she was 3 and the youngest since she was 6 months. They were fully supportive of breast feeding on my return to work which really helped me to continue. Yes, the place is spotless, well equipped and they do all the usual activities including messy playtime, outside time, stories and singing. But for me it’s things like the team seem to stay (some for the last 7 years), they show excellent emotional warmth to my kids, have the skills to quickly change a tantrummy toddler refusing to let go of mum to one that’s smiling and too busy to care that I’m leaving. They are full of reassurances that she’s cheerful once I’ve left and encourage calls to check if you are at all worried. They have never made me sense like a silly parent for doing this.

For us it’s like having extended family that want the best for our kids, it’s a fantastic setting that’s very free flowing. My two kids attend age 2.5 and 10.

Team were consistently informative and welcoming, and my daughter was able to grow in self‑assurance and foster some hopefully lifelong friendships at the childcare centre. 
All the team are fab, and my daughter will miss the team, her friends, and the experiences and lessons she learnt there.
Many thanks for all your help and assistance over the years. It has consistently felt like a little family at Sunshine, and it was sad to leave somewhere where my kid was so comfortable and secure.

Over this time, she has grown to adore it and has a bond with all the team and her classmates. The childcare centre team have given us regular updates on her development and have been welcoming and approachable. The parking is convenient for pick up and drop-offs, and we have been reassured by the policies they have put in place during the pandemic. Our daughter has attended childcare centre since she was 9-months-old.

My daughter loved going to childcare centre and enjoyed making friends. She consistently spoke highly about the team in her class. They consistently had many activities to do and she was consistently cheerful to bring them home to share it with us. She was consistently encouraged to write and she’s also picked up most of her phonics just in time for the next stage in school. Team has consistently been welcoming and supportive.

The implementation of the early years curriculum is well embedded into the childcare centre and expectations are high and the kids achieve. Being associated with the childcare centre for roughly eight years I have two well developed kids with an outstanding academic and social foundation. The governance and safeguarding are to a high standard.

Sunshine has amassed a strong, well‑informed, expert team that work highly well together. It is a pleasure to drop the kids off each day knowing they will receive the highest level of care. I then receive updates throughout the day thanks to tapestry and when I pick them up they are consistently cheerful to tell me what they did and adore the fact that I can prompt them on their day.
From a safety perspective, it is excellent to see that all team and parents following safeguarding procedures. Cheerful kids = cheerful parents! Would suggest to all. If you read the reviews and visit the childcare centre, the two things that stand out are the happiness of the kids and the overall happiness of the team.

She is consistently cheerful when we take her there. We are very pleased with the improvement that she had since she joined. So far, she has made a lot of friends, and she loves all her educators.

He has thrived in the care, and from his first day, he has been nurtured and encouraged to be himself. Team have allowed him to develop his interests whilst encouraging him to try new things and challenge himself. Her key workers have been outstanding. My daughter was upset at most of the drop-offs, to begin with, but now happily toddles in without saying goodbye! I would suggest Sunshine to all parents. Sunshine has looked after my 21-month-old daughter since I went back to work when she was 14 months old.

The team are nurturing and attentive, the kids entertained and cheerful. A vast array of activities keeps busy toddler minds occupied, art, sports, languages and lots and lots of playtime. My daughter started at Sunshine childcare centre with a pretty intense case of separation anxiety after a bad journey with a childminder.

They provide a cheerful setting and both my kids have thrived there. The team are exceptionally supportive and even when needing to tackle behavioural issues they are flexible in their approach and work with parents. Only ever had positive experiences with Sunshine Day Childcare centre.

The team are so welcoming and have truly helped with my daughter’s self‑assurance and her speech. The facilities are excellent, with plenty of toys and activities, both inside and out. I was highly nervous when it came time to send my daughter to a childcare centre, but she absolutely loves her days here and is consistently coming home cheerful with lots to say about her day.
