September 14, 2024 at 9:50 pmEvery day she comes home cheerful and content. The teaching team are outstanding and provide the highest standard of care. There is a wide range of activities delivered including maths, English, music and French. Under normal circumstances, and prior to Covid, she participated in weekly swimming lessons. Since starting Pre-Reception our daughter has come on leaps and bounds. I would highly suggest this facility. My daughter has been attending Stockpot Grammar Pre-Reception since January this year and is thoroughly loving it.

My kid was looked after properly and thought very well while at pre-reception, and he was consistently cheerful to go to school to see his friends and educators. Team are very attentive and welcoming.

March 4, 2025 at 9:27 amThe team are extremely welcoming, and the quality of the teaching and care provided is outstanding. Our daughter loves going to Pre-Reception and comes home very cheerful, eager to share her daily experiences with us. The kids benefit from a very broad range of subjects including ICT, French, Music, PE, Phonics and Maths with significant time for discovering through playtime, crucial at this age. But before Covid-19, they would also swim every week. The team develop a sense of curiosity in the kids, to assist their discovering, and encourage the kids to be compassionate to others.
The Pre-Reception benefits from being a spacious, self-contained building situated in the extensive grounds, so the kids have access to all of the school’s remarkable facilities. Wrap around care is available as there is a welcoming Breakfast and After School Club. Stockport Grammar Pre-Reception is remarkable.

March 13, 2025 at 6:15 pmAs a parent, I was naturally anxious but the team were remarkable. The assistance and nurture provided to my daughter was incredible. She settled in with no issues. My daughter has progressed academically as well as in her self‑assurance and independence. She loves school. Her attitude to discovering is excellent and it isn’t just about reading and writing. They learn through playtime, exploration and because discovering is made so much enjoyable by the educators. The educators take extra special care with my daughter’s dietary needs. The educators are so responsive to us as parents, they are very approachable. The best decision we made. My daughter was given the option to commence Pre Reception as soon as she turned 3.

During the lockdown, they provided a ton of assistance materials and activities to keep us busy and to not fall behind in her discovering journey. Her handwriting is outstanding, and her reading is coming on very well. This is due to the skills she was taught and the foundation she was given in childcare centre. Thank you!
