September 20, 2024 at 5:11 amThe team are truly incredible and help develop your kid’s skills ready for them to start school. They regularly go on trips out and my son is so cheerful to go into childcare centre and tells us all about his educators and friends when he is at home. He has built up some incredible relationships with both his friends and the team members and I would highly suggest this childcare centre to anyone. My son has been at Stepping Stones Day Childcare centre since around 8 months old and he has come on so well.

September 27, 2024 at 9:21 pmThe small team do make it sense like a family and they get know the families well. They go on weekly outings locally into the community, whatever the weather, and they get kids involved in tactile activities, such as pizza-making and baking. The indoor rooms have been updated recently and we’re excited to see the new garden design, when it’s updated, so the space will be even better. Both my kids have been highly cheerful here and they well prepared my eldest for primary school. Lovely, small, homely childcare centre.

October 2, 2024 at 11:51 pmHe is truly going to miss everyone there. All the team are highly welcoming and understanding and keep you updated with what your kid has been up to on a day to day basis. Since COVID they have arranged days out for the kids which my son has particularly enjoyed going on the bus on numerous occasions! My youngest son is just about to finish at Stepping Stones to start school in September and has been there since he was 10 months old.

December 11, 2024 at 10:23 pmWe are so pleased with our choice of childcare centre. My youngest attends now and consistently comes home cheerful, and exhausted from a busy, active day.
The childcare centre manager has made some significant improvements in the last two years, which has made the whole childcare centre a much happier place for its team. This is then reflected in the fantastic care they give to their job and the kids they look after.
The team produce creative and imaginative activities, which are enjoyable, ability appropriate, and educational for the kids.
The kids have regular trips out and about in the local area, and delight in lots of outdoor playtime. We have been connected to Stepping Stones since 2017, with two kids going through its doors.

December 12, 2024 at 3:48 pmEvery single member of the team are attentive, welcoming and approachable. From the moment we joined the childcare centre, I felt they truly cared for my kid. No matter what room they work in, the team know your kid. My kid’s development in terms of talking came on so much once they started. They’ve built some excellent relationships with the team and it’s lovely to see.
There are great resources and plenty for kids to explore. There are consistently planned activities to assistance the kids’s development, which are impressive and creative! We personally adore how much they use the outside space and use community resources for trips out to assistance the kids’s discovering. We moved areas last year but choose to continue with Stepping Stones rather than using a closer childcare option due to how much we and our kid adore it. Outstanding childcare centre.

February 4, 2025 at 7:10 pmMy daughter has been going here since she was 6 months old and the ladies here have played a huge part in helping her grow. Consistently welcoming, compassionate and open for chats whenever needed. Information is consistently shared, and the development of the kids is a huge part.
We will be sad when we eventually have to leave and move on when my daughter grows up. An incredible childcare centre with such lovely team who truly looks after and cares about every kid.

February 9, 2025 at 6:17 amThey both loved it. The small rooms mean they get a more personalised journey, and the team are all lovely. They do lots of outings with the kids, which I think is incredible – truly value them being out in the open air, looking after each kid’s needs individually and truly attentive about the kids. I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest it. My daughter currently goes to the childcare centre, and my son previously did.

March 30, 2025 at 9:06 amThey’re willing to offer a flexible space around our work needs. The team are welcoming and care about getting to know our son. They are supportive and cheerful to give advice. Our son is developing excellent from the wide range of activities that they do which are all enjoyable and involve discovering. They adore spending time outside and playing with friends. The childcare centre is excellent.

April 10, 2025 at 5:06 pmThey provide care from all team working with kids across all rooms and have regular updates on how the kid is doing and how to assistance and work together to assistance the kid. They provide a wide range of activities in and out of the setting to engage all kids and have the kid’s interests at heart. They listen to what kids would like to do and my son has had stay and playtime sessions on themes, superhero days etc. They provide meals and encourage healthy eating and keeping healthy and secure with themed activities to engage kids. Updates is of excellent standard via online and personal face-to-face. Updates are given on childcare centre activities and we have enjoyed attending events. I would highly suggest Stepping Stones Childcare centre Rothwell and thank them for all they have done. Stepping Stones Childcare centre Rothwell has been an outstanding provider to my son.

April 14, 2025 at 12:23 amOne of my favourite things about this childcare centre is the fact they focus on the positive feedback on handover, any incidents or challenging behaviour are mentioned but are not made to be the focus. And challenging behaviour or areas to focus on are shared with a view to assistance parents in any way they can, and often remind parents that this is completely normal, and not a cause for concern. My daughter loves the team at Rothwell Stepping Stones.

Since attending Stepping Stones my daughter has grown in self‑assurance and has flourished. I can’t thank the team enough for their efforts. They are such a welcoming team who are remarkable with the kids. The team at Stepping Stones Rothwell are remarkable.
