Stepping Stones Day Nursery Ltd

Both my girls attended Stepping Stones Day Nursery in different years, however, the nursery maintained the same quality, staff are brilliant and attentive. I never felt worried about leaving the children because I knew they were looked after. Nothing but positive comments, and definitely recommend it to other people.

My son has attended this nursery since he was 6-months-old and is now due to have his last day (at nearly 5-years-old). Throughout the entire time, he has been attending this nursery, the care he has received has been exceptional. The staff make a real effort to get to know and understand your little one (and all of their quirks). For example, my son had a comforter, and they were sure to remember the comforters name and when he was likely to need it. As a single mum (and this is my first child), the nursery staff have always supported me in supporting the needs of my child too, providing extra advice and guidance when I need it, and even supporting me with external referrals. Every day that I drop him off, I know that he is being cared for, loved and supported. It’s extremely easy to book additional sessions when I need them, and the nursery grounds are well kept and secure. Highly recommend this nursery!

My child has recently started this nursery last week, and the staff have been so helpful in settling her into the room and giving her plenty of cuddles to make her feel better.
They have been taking pictures for me to see how she has been throughout the day and always call me if they need to ask me something. All my child has known is lockdown, so I was very shocked to see how she has settled in so well to the nursery.
Thank you to all staff who look after her; your extra effort doesn’t go unnoticed.

I don’t usually write reviews, but honestly, words cannot explain how thankful I am for the staff that was caring for my daughter for nearly 3-years here. My daughter was genuinely the girl that didn’t want to come home because she loved it so much here. She built a good relationship with pretty much all the staff members and learnt a lot indirectly through play. Every night she would come home and tell me all the exciting things she did and learnt and was so happy to go back the next day. I visited a lot of nurseries before finally deciding on Stepping Stones, and it was the best decision I made. I’ve recommended and will continue to recommend Stepping Stones Day Nursery.

Our child had been with this nursery for about 3-years, and we always found that the staff were friendly and very professional. They looked after the special dietary needs of our little one and ensured she always interacted well with the other children. She has come on leaps and bounds in all forms of her development, and special planning has helped in areas she’s had issues with.

Within days, the staff knew my son so well. He’s now coming to the end of his third year now (sadly disrupted by Covid) and still loves it. The staff are professional and friendly and clearly love what they do. The environment and facilities are stimulating and changing. He has learnt so much more than I could ever teach him at home, and there is a clear attachment between him and the staff.

My 3-year-old daughter joined Stepping Stones just before turning 1. The team has been amazing with her, and we are greatly thankful for their kindness to our little one. She absolutely loves going there every morning, and I am sure being in the nursery has helped her develop her self-esteem and knowledge of the world.

My son has attended this nursey for 2 years nearly and it is exceptional in all areas such as cleanliness, variety of food offered (catered for individuals’ needs), activities and interaction with children, development strategies for individuals and most importantly the staff are amazing to say the least. My son has had an excellent time with Stepping Stones and I couldn’t thank the staff enough for all the time and effort they have given him and other children to help them in their development. Special thanks to one staff member who has been very attentive, caring and supportive to my child and another staff member for her support with the referral to Speech and Language Therapy.

Firstly, I would like to leave some feedback following the Mother’s Day stay and play session yesterday morning. The staff in the red room are brilliant; you can really see that they work well as a team. Everyone was engaging with the children, and it was nice to see how included each child was during drinks time and singing and sitting together. I am very impressed and happy to know how familiar each staff member is with my child, considering he only does two mornings a week at the moment. I am also very pleased with his transition from the baby room and how friendly the staff are that still work there. As a first-time mum, I am very happy with the care he receives whilst at nursery; he is always welcomed at the start of the session, so please pass this on to both baby room and red room staff members!

Our time at Stepping Stones Day Nursery has been a truly wonderful experience, filled with love, learning, and growth of our child. Throughout the time our little one spent at the nursery, we have been consistently impressed and deeply grateful for the exceptional care, attention, and education provided by the dedicated team of teachers and staff.
