September 27, 2024 at 7:03 pmThe team in each and every room over this time have been exceptionally compassionate, thoughtful and consistently dedicated to my son’s physical, emotional and social development. We are consistently greeted with warmth and genuine enthusiasm. Each day, new and exciting activities are set up for him to explore. I adore the app and sense I can check in on his day and get a sense of how he’s doing. The management are also super and very responsive to any messages or questions. They have been very compassionate and supportive of my family as I go through some health complications. I am so cheerful my son attends Step Start. I couldn’t suggest them more. He loves going there every morning and I know he is being looked after incredibly well. My son has been at Step Start Mountnessing since he was 10 months old and is 2.5 years now so we have experienced 3 of the 4 rooms.

We get regular detailed updates on the app on how your kid is getting on from what they eat, what activities they have done and skills and learnings they are focusing on for your kid’s development. Our little girl has been to Step Start Mountnessing since she was one, and I can honestly say it’s been such a lovely journey.

November 30, 2024 at 1:53 pmMy son started when he was just under one. He is three now and absolutely loves going every day. All team are very expert attentive and polite. There are consistently plenty of enjoyable activities planned throughout the day, and parents receive daily photo reports at the end of each day, which is excellent. Parent stay and playtime days are excellent too, as it gives us the opportunity to see where our kids spend most of their time as well as meet other parents. I would highly suggest Step Sart Mountnessing.

December 6, 2024 at 1:13 pmThey do so many different activities every day, and we get excellent updates throughout the day on the app. My kid has been at Step Start for six months now and has settled extremely well and has made excellent bonds with the team and other kids.

Every day there is a new activity or journey planned, and both my kids are really thriving from the variety. They particularly delight in the outdoor activities.
The app keeps me informed and provides reassurance when needed. The team are incredible, welcoming, supportive and extremely attentive with the kids.

The famly app is also exceptional keeping me up to date with all the daily activities that they get up to and seeing regular photos. Everyone and everything is absolutely exceptional 24/7! Would 100% suggest Step Start Mountnessing.

January 20, 2025 at 6:04 pmThe team do an outstanding job of ensuring the kids are well looked after and cheerful and provide a comfortable setting. My kids have developed so much since attending the childcare centre and consistently seem so cheerful being there. Both have had allergies and intolerances to food, and the childcare centre has consistently been incredible with this ensuring they aren’t given those certain foods. Couldn’t praise this childcare centre more, and highly suggest it to anyone looking for their little ones. Both my son and daughter have attended this childcare centre, and both absolutely adore being there.

Step Start has also been excellent at putting on different daily activities, and I’m pleased they are focused on kid development as well as kid care. Thank you, everyone, for your hard work – highly recommended! My son started at Step Start Mountnessing a few weeks ago, and I’m delighted with how easily the team have made this transition in his life (and ours!).

I delight in the app with daily updates and all the activities keep the kids well entertained. The team work exceptionally hard and it’s well organised. My daughter is cheerful and very well looked after forming a strong bond with her key workers. I highly suggest Step Start! My daughter has been attending Step Start Mountnessing for 2 years now and it has been a fantastic journey so far.

February 19, 2025 at 9:55 pmMy little boy really enjoys his days, full of lots of enjoyable activities and discovering. He speaks very highly of his key worker and their colleagues. Whenever myself or my husband pick our son up, we get a quick review of his day, which is consistently so nice to hear. The app is updated during the day, so I can see what he has been doing, including all meals and nappy changes. Would highly suggest Step Start. We have consistently had a excellent journey with Step Start childcare centre and all the people working there.

It’s not easy to leave your kid/kids with others, but through regular updates, we are assured that she is in a home away from home. The team at Step Start are remarkable.

My son has allergies, and they have given me so much self‑assurance in how they’ve managed to keep him secure.
The app the childcare centre uses are remarkable. It makes me sense so much more at ease to know what he’s up to whilst he’s there, what he’s eating and when he’s sleeping etc. The team are excellent at contacting me over the phone if needed too.
I would absolutely suggest Step Start to anyone! My son recently started at Step Start, and they have been absolutely exceptional.

March 8, 2025 at 2:47 pmMy daughter has been attending since April 2021 for four full days a week, and this is her 2nd childcare centre, having attended one in another area before. She loves the educators and looks forward to going every day. The team are so lovely and attend to each kid. The care that is given is of high quality, and my daughter is discovering so much! She has excelled immensely, and friends and family comment on how great her knowledge is for her age. The subjects they explore and cover each day are so diverse that not one day is the same, and the joy my daughter has at this childcare centre is all thanks to the fantastic people working at this childcare centre! I highly suggest this place! Step Start Mountnessing is an absolutely fantastic childcare centre!

May 3, 2025 at 8:54 pmThe kids make fantastic bonds with their educators and really learn a lot whilst they’re there! They’re consistently cheerful to go to the childcare centre, and the team are consistently welcoming and welcoming.
It would be lovely to have more access to a larger outdoor area, but the childcare centre makes great use of the space they have. We have sent both of our kids to Step Start childcare centre, and both have thrived there.

My two kids have special needs, and I sense like the childcare centre has gone above and beyond meeting those needs and supporting us as a family. They have excellent facilities and resources. I would highly suggest this childcare centre. Both my daughter and son attended this childcare centre, and it is incredible there.

My second kid is due to start, and I have no worries that he will settle and adore it there just as much as my eldest. My 4-year-old son has been at Step Start since he was 18 months, and we have consistently had a very positive journey as parents.

The day is packed with various activities, keeping him engaged from start to finish. I am extremely satisfied with the team and grateful for how eager my son is to go to childcare centre every day. Therefore, I express my heartfelt appreciation to Step Start for their outstanding work. Step Start is an exceptional childcare centre where the team are incredibly attentive and supportive.

July 9, 2025 at 7:46 pmMy daughter has been with the childcare centre for two years now, having been a baby born during Covid, she was naturally quite shy and clingy, to begin with, but the team in the Little Leaps classroom have just supported her every step of the way! From the lovely relationships she formed with her key worker to the constant assistance and positive feedback offered by the room lead and the enjoyable, inviting and compassionate natures of all the girls.
She has recently made the transition down to the Big Steps room and is already building a remarkable relationship with the team, who are already happily reporting how confidently she enjoys the room and supporting her to develop her skills and relationships!
The senior team, led by the manager, is consistently so incredibly accommodating and supportive! In short, they are just remarkable, deserving of six stars! I honestly cannot express how highly I regard Step Stars as a childcare centre setting to me their service is impeccable!
