Spring Boscombe Down

My little girl has been attending here since September 2019. Although she cries when I drop her off I know she is in great hands and that by the time I get to my car she will have stopped crying and will be having fun with her friends.
She talks about nursery when she doesn’t go and is always asking if she has nursery that day.
I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

Brilliant nursery and brilliant staff. My 15-month-old daughter has settled really well there and all the staff are lovely with her. I was so anxious about her starting nursery and leaving her for the first time but she has settled with such ease and I can tell from the photos she very much enjoys her day at nursery. The staff keep you well informed also and are always very helpful if needed. Will definitely be booking a place for my second child when the time comes!

My daughter has just started school after 18 months at Springs. She loved it there and learnt and developed so much. My son is almost two and has been very happy since he started last year. The staff are very caring, supportive and have lots of fun with the children. My children always talk about the staff and the fun activities they have done. Staff are always available to answer any questions and give frequent updates through Famly on how the children are doing. It is also a very safe and secure environment and has great facilities indoors and outside. They have different rooms for different age groups, but it was nice that the children were together for breakfast and tea. Knowing my children are happy, safe and well cared for takes the stress out of having to leave them for work.

Both my children attended this school for over three years’ time and I can’t say a single negative thing about this school and the staff. My kids always enjoyed being there and the staff was always amazing at communicating with us. Not only do the staff get to know your child but they take the time to get to know you a bit as well which goes a long way in building that trust with the people who are ultimately looking after your children while you’re not. One of my children has severe skin allergies and I was pleased to see how seriously they took them and were able to manage them with no problems. Thanks to the lovely staff of this school both my children were at a great starting point for going into reception. They take the time to work with every child and make then feel confident about that big move up. I’m grateful for everything this school did for my children and would highly recommend them to anyone.

My son has been in two nurseries and considering that when we moved here it was under Covid 19 rules and regulations, we were unable to go inside with him, he settled so well and has genuinely enjoyed coming!
His language has come on so well, he’s a happy little soul and the nursery is part of this! The staff have been so flexible and helpful when I’ve had ad-hoc days for interviews and have been so understanding when our circumstances have changed; I couldn’t fault them.
I feel that the staff are really genuine and friendly too, really welcoming to the children!
I love the app that they communicate through, with photos and very informed progress reports. It’s useful for knowing if your child has napped/pooped, etc. They are also really easy to contact through email.
I would absolutely recommend this nursery to parents, and I wish all the staff much love and luck for the future.

My son has been attending this nursery for the last year and is extremely happy there. He generally trots in merrily and spends much of his time playing outside in the garden. The staff are always very supportive and give regular updates via the app and private message function. They also let us know how he has been at the end of each day. My son often talks about the other kids at nursery as well as his key worker, who he is extremely fond of.

I cannot speak more highly of the team at Spring Boscombe Down. We are so lucky to have had their support with our daughter over the last 18 months. The team give so much energy and care; they all know and understand our daughter’s needs and share the best stories with us of her days with them. She has developed so much and become a feisty, funny little girl, and we credit the team at Boscombe Down with their support in her development. She simply loves attending and walks on in without looking back! We wish we could take them all with us when we move!

Spring Boscombe Down is a great preschool. My son has been there since two plus and leaving for primary this year. I never collected him one day and felt he wasn’t cared for. I love the outdoors explore and play environment of the school. Also, the new included hot meals have been a great help, as I no longer have to worry about packing lunches and my little one not eating them. Really grateful to the team.
