September 8, 2024 at 6:27 pmHe runs in every morning, without even a backwards glance and comes out beaming with joy every afternoon. He clearly develops well with other kids, and his eating and behaviour improve when he has been at childcare centre. The activities are varied, and we adore seeing pictures of his day on their app.
As parents, we find the team expert, compassionate, supportive, honest and open. The manager and deputy know all the kids and are quick to spot any issues. They have excellent patience, humour and empathy. It truly does sense like they are part of our family. The space, itself, is purpose-built, spotless and tidy and light and airy. The food is outstanding and healthy.
We suggest the childcare centre to everyone we meet, and we are so cheerful to have found such a cheerful nurturing place for our little boy. Our 2-year-old has been at South Bermondsey since he was 10-months-old and he loves it.

September 18, 2024 at 3:21 pmThe space is excellent, the kids have lots of room, and a great outdoor space. They do plenty of activities, including lots of messy playtime, discovering about food and textures, etc. Our little boy is highly cheerful here. The group is non-profit and provides places for disadvantaged kids as well as fully paid places. Despite this, the fees are slightly slower than most other local nurseries. All-round, this is a exceptional childcare centre. This is a lovely childcare centre with attentive, expert team.

Updates between team members could be better on occasion – sometimes we get different information from different members of team, and once our kid wasn’t given a dose of medication we’d advised she needed. However, there is a lovely vibe overall and we are highly cheerful our kid attends this childcare centre! Excellent setting and stimulation, our kid is highly cheerful at childcare centre and we adore the community of team, kids and parents.

October 16, 2024 at 8:43 pmOn collection, the team can tell me exactly how her day went in regards to eating, napping, behaviour etc. The team member on reception consistently welcomes kids and parents with a smile and does her best to get to know the kids and parents. We are now into our 2nd year here and will stay until it’s time to move on to reception. My kid truly enjoys her time here.

November 3, 2024 at 11:38 amThye put and exchanged gloves when in messy playtime and I cannot be thankful enough. This is only one this as what they do in there is incredible. My son also attends this childcare centre and he loves it. The discovering development is excellent as well as the activities they do. My daughter needed a little surgery on her thumb and al the management and team took care of her hand so well.

My daughter has advanced cognitively highly well since starting at the childcare centre. I am confident that my daughter is getting an outstanding amount of stimulation. Team is welcoming and supportive.

The management has a highly tough old school approach to parents but seems ok to the kids. I would say that they are highly hard to read. Kids seem cheerful and healthy and the hours are decent too. Definitely suggest. The childcare centre is quite lovely, highly attentive and engaged.

December 9, 2024 at 12:53 amThe outdoor space and mud kitchen are huge hits, and the variety of activities the kids can get involved with is highly welcome – tired, cheerful kids come home at the end of the day. The deputy manager is a star, full of energy and makes lots of time for both kids and parents. A fabulous little childcare centre – my eldest started there when it first opened, and my second is just going into pre-school, and both kids have loved their time there.

December 11, 2024 at 9:42 amThe team are so attentive and genuinely do their best for the kid’s development. They made the transitions to any new face a joint effort between parents/childcare centre and are so loving towards kids. I can tell they keep them secure, motivated and cheerful.
I highly suggest it. We are highly pleased to have our second kid in South Bermondsey Childcare centre.

They do lots of enjoyable activities, and the team do a excellent job of tracking each kid’s development.
The food is all fresh and healthy and is highly varied.
I would happily suggest this childcare centre to everyone! This is an incredible childcare centre.

January 31, 2025 at 12:17 amMy daughter is cheerful to go there and does not show resistance which is highly reassuring. The education is great for now but I think they need to improve on potty training. Altogether I am satisfied with the service and the care. Great childcare centre.

My only worry is that they have a large team pool so you see new faces highly often. Truly cheerful overall. Will definitely suggest. South Bermondsey Community Childcare centre is an incredible childcare centre.

June 6, 2025 at 4:26 amMy son truly enjoys the team. He seems truly cheerful there. He does tons of enjoyable activities and usually comes home spotless even after painting. The only issue is with the summaries of their day’s system is frequently down. Excellent childcare centre.

June 7, 2025 at 4:17 amOur kids attend happily and when they come home they talk about their friends and educators. The mud kitchen is a hit!
They usually have 2 closures a year for team training. Our kids attend full time so we are consistently affected. These closures are inconvenient and we have to look for alternative childcare arrangements which cost us money. We are highly cheerful with the childcare centre and the team.

July 9, 2025 at 8:08 amShe has developed incredibly since attending, in all areas – speech, mobility, eating, sign language etc.
She is so excited in the morning when we say ‘childcare centre’ and runs in to see everyone.
The team are outstanding, you can tell they genuinely care for the kids and truly delight in their jobs. Updates is also great and we’re given a daily update – how she’s slept, what she ate, what activities they did, what she did/didn’t delight in etc. They also send us pictures of her doing various activities during the day.
Our journey could not have been more positive and we’re so pleased we chose this childcare centre. Our daughter has been going to South Bermondsey childcare centre for a couple of months now and the change in her is incredible!
