October 1, 2019 at 12:00 amVery friendly nursery with an amazing garden! The staff are very welcoming and listen to the needs of your child.
They regularly do forest school either in the nursery garden or out and about in the local fields.
All their food is homemade on-site by their own chefs and is delicious. The children get a good variety of food menus which rotate every 4 weeks.
Would definitely recommend this nursery.

October 9, 2019 at 12:00 amI am so impressed with the care provided by Snapdragons Weston, both my children love it and love the staff too. They were excellent in recognising my child’s hidden disability, getting us into the system before school. I have a great relationship with the staff who work with me to resolve any difficulties. The setting fantastic too. I would highly recommend Snapdragons Weston!

October 10, 2019 at 12:00 amSnapdragons Weston is a wonderful nursery school. All of my children have attended/are attending. The staff are kind and caring. The children progress through the rooms and enjoy playing inside and outside. We have been very happy at Snapdragons.

October 11, 2019 at 12:00 amSnapdragons has been fantastic for us and our little 2 year old girl. The staff are really friendly and helpful and have connected really well with our daughter. She seems to love them and vice versa!

October 11, 2019 at 12:00 amMy daughter has loved her time at nursery. Since being in the preschool room she has thrived. From day one the team took the time to get to know her and this really reflected in the relationships she had with them. My daughter has now moved on to school ready for a new challenge and so prepared for what’s to come. Couldn’t thank them enough or recommend them any more for the fantastic care they provide.

November 6, 2019 at 12:00 amOur daughter has attended babies, toddlers and preschool.
Positives: Excellent garden and a number of the staff are excellent.
Negatives: Our daughter never truly settled, asked daily not to go, and would cling to us at drop-off (very little help given with this). Now having moved to another nursery where she is very settled and happy, we can see the stark contrast. There have been a lot of staff changes in the pre-school room, and there can be over 30 children in the room and staff are clearly under strain. Children often observed left in toilet and cloakroom area unattended. Staff never truly got to know our daughter, for example, asking her name, and more seriously her past medical history was not communicated/known to room staff. At pick up time, staff often did not know where she was, and on one occasion I found her asleep in a corner. Very little encouragement with maths/writing/reading and assessments did not reflect her ability, despite us discussing this with staff.

November 7, 2019 at 12:00 amSuperb staff who really care and know my child.
She has loved her time in the nursery. Outdoor space is the real asset with large gardens and a dedicated Forest School teacher.
Healthy organic food prepared on-site by good chefs. Management are always willing to listen and help.

November 7, 2019 at 12:00 amFrom the day my son started at 3 months old to his present age of 2, I have found Snapdragons to provide well above the expected standard on all levels, not only to my child but also supporting me as a parent.

November 28, 2019 at 12:00 amMy little boy has loved Snapdragons since starting at 11 months old and after 6 months he still goes in smiling every day. He loves all the girls and can’t wait for his morning cuddles. They do such a great variety of activities every day, spend lots of time in the incredible garden and the food sounds amazing – he regularly has seconds at mealtimes. I could not be happier knowing that he is well looked after and is having a wonderful time when I go to work. The management team are also lovely and really helpful. I honestly couldn’t ask for more for my little man.

September 10, 2020 at 12:00 amWe are very happy with our daughter’s experience at Snapdragons. The outdoor play space is wonderful, and the staff are friendly and caring. She recently moved to the toddler room, and although she took a couple of weeks to fully settle this was mainly because she loved the baby room staff so much! She now loves the toddler team too and is happy to go in each morning. The measures taken at the nursery to adjust for Covid have been clearly communicated to parents and is working well.

September 18, 2020 at 12:00 amSnapdragons is always an excellent standard. All of the team are happy, helpful and clearly love their jobs and kids, especially in babies where they are calm, so confident and reassuring. We are so pleased we can come to Snapdragons Weston. The food is also great as well as the outside space and facilities.

September 23, 2020 at 12:00 amMy son has recently started his nursery journey and the nursery staff have made his settling-in process an enjoyable and welcoming experience from start to finish. The girls in the baby room and the office are lovely. Really caring and welcoming. We are delighted with our chosen nursery and after a month of attending twice a week, our son absolutely loves it.

September 23, 2020 at 12:00 amOur children were previously in a non-structured environment. Our eldest, in particular, we felt was not being prepared for the more structured environment of school. Consequently, he was bored and complained about going to nursery. From day one, Snapdragons totally changed his experience. Both children, despite lockdown, were totally excited and keen to go every day. Our own experience was totally liberating as we were able to resume our work as key workers.

May 13, 2021 at 12:00 amAfter moving house and having to change our son’s nursery, I was apprehensive about the move as he enjoyed his old setting tremendously. We were not able to look around the setting due to COVID, but the team in Panda’s (Toddlers) are second to none, their knowledge, warmth and care are outstanding, and despite a few tears settling in, he is now walking in without even saying goodbye! There was no need for us to worry! Our son’s speech has come on leaps and bounds, and this is through the dedication of the team. Medication is remembered daily and on time without any hesitation. I would recommend Snapdragons Weston to any parent not only for the team but also the facilities that they offer from meals cooked on-site, to the expansive garden and the new curiosity approach that they have adopted.

September 20, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son has been going to Snapdragons Nursery Weston since he was 4 months old, now in his last year of preschool, he has experienced every class and developed a fantastic bond with all the lovely staff at Weston. It is a nurturing, warm and friendly nursery, which provides a variety of healthy meals, activities and focus on development. The outdoor space is a real bonus. They have adapted well to Covid procedures and communicate regularly via email with updates on their processes and what’s coming up. If there are any issues, they are quick to answer the phone or schedule a meeting to answer your concerns.

February 24, 2022 at 12:00 amOverall really happy with this nursery. My son is 14-months-old and started at the nursery when he was 12-months-old. He settled in really easily, and I felt that he was safe and well cared for.
Despite all the Covid measures, we are regularly updated.
Great food which he loves, and nursery staff seem to have really got to know him, which is the most important thing.
Always clean and dry when collected, and he is always keen to go back again, which must be a good sign!
Drop off can be busy in the morning with the small car park and often have to wait a bit for his worker to bring him inside. Also, some of the illness exclusion information on their website is inaccurate eg, slapped cheek recommends keeping them off nursery until rash cleared, but the link to the NHS website suggests that it is not contagious once the rash appears, so there can be no sensible reason for this advice. They also insist on seeking medical treatment/advice for simple conjunctivitis, which is not necessary.

April 29, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter loves Snapdragons! Having entered nursery during the lockdown, she had had little opportunity to socialise with others. Her shyness disappeared over the months, and she makes new friends daily, feeling secure in her environment as she grows among her peers. Her key person Is caring and smiley, and the staff in her room enjoy the company of the children, whilst providing a wide range of stimulating and creative activities, play-focused but with an understanding of and interest in developmental goals, without being dogmatic. The food is nutritious and home-cooked, the outdoor play area fantastic for a city centre, and the overall approach of kindness, fun and creative learning with a strong emphasis on safeguarding, allows us peace of mind as parents.
