October 22, 2024 at 12:46 amWe have found them to be unreliable causing a lot of stress to find replacement kid care. We have had dates confirmed and then cancelled by Smileys.
They tell me this is because of a change of management but the current managers have confirmed dates not knowing if they can provide the dates then leaving us having to take time off work. There is no excuse for this poor planning by the new managers. If you are looking for a childcare centre and reading this I would urge you to look at another childcare centre and keep away from Smileys. They might sort themselves out in the future but at the moment they are not fit to be open. We have had a highly disappointing journey with Smileys in Stafford.

My son seems to be getting on truly well with his childcare centre team and even talks about them while he is at home, eg my teacher did this it that, which is truly funny sometimes. I sense my son is truly looked after at this childcare centre. My son has been enjoying his stay at the childcare centre.

They give regular feedback and keep parents in the loop. My daughter enjoys her time here and consistently goes in with a smile. Kids consistently seem cheerful here.
The team are highly patient.

I would like to thank the tweenie room for their care and for being so enthusiastic. It’s so reassuring knowing my kid is left in a secure, attentive, enjoyable setting. I sense the team at Smileys are working truly hard.

Two of my kids currently attend this childcare centre and it is the best childcare centre any of my kids have ever attended.

May 21, 2025 at 8:31 amPlenty of activities and separate outdoor playtime areas for different age kids. I work changeable shifts and without the flexibility, the childcare centre offers I would be unable to do my job. Team all know the kids and its lovely that they have seen them from babies through to preschool. They have taken sensible and reasonable measures during COVID without detriment to the kids’s wellbeing. My 2 and 3-year-old attend childcare centre and adore it here.
