Sleepy Hollow Early Childhood Centre, Crumlin

A super team who deserve recognition for this outstanding provision. My youngest begs to stay for high tea because she adores the food and the bus driver is nothing other than a local hero. The leadership team are committed and passionate professionals who seem to continually reflect and develop the day‑care in the best interests of the kids. The team are remarkable and go the extra mile every day for the kids in their care. Its Reggio Emilia approach is full of adventure and wonder, providing the perfect development space for young kids. Sleepy Hollow Nursery Crumlin is outstanding.

I am updated several times each day via the guardians’ app on things such as what he’ s done( with pics) how he has eaten and when he’ s asleep. My kid has bonded with them and trusts them. The team are remarkable. My little boy adores his time there and it’ s been brilliant for his development. Sleepy Hollow is a 5* childcare environment.

I cannot suggest them strongly enough. The team are so wonderful with him and two of his extremely few words are Sleepy Hollow as he adores it so much. My eldest has been in Sleepy Hollow from a extremely young age and has severe development difficulties. The team are remarkable, honest and so extremely attentive with all the kids. My youngest is so creative and extremely imaginative due to the sessions she does at Sleepy Hollow. I have two kids in Sleepy Hollow who absolutely adore the environment.

Thanks to all the team. My kid doesn’ t ever want to be picked up early so that says it all. Excellent and pleasant team who go out of their way to ensure my kid is secure and having a wonderful time.

He seems delighted and content and gets to take part in different sessions during the day. No concerns with having our kid here. I sense we get wonderful feedback on how the day has gone. Staff are wonderful and attentive to the kid.

The kids adore going to Sleepy Hollow and have settled well there. They truly care for our kids and look after them as if they are their own. The team are so welcoming and approachable. We are extremely delighted with the care provided to all three of our kids at Sleepy Hollow in Crumlin.

The team within the room are so attentive and attentive to all the kids, and this made the transition into school become much more enjoyable for everyone. My little boy was especially excited to get on the bus; this was the highlight of getting dropped off and picked up again. With my kids starting back in a new school year with many settle taking place, Sleepy Hollow was terrific at understanding and working with me on those settles and picks ups etc, and the kids were delighted and content and felt extremely secure when being collected and brought back to Sleepy Hollow.

Overall, would suggest Sleepy Hollow to anyone. I have seen an improvement in April meals, so I hope this continues to back to less processed foods. I sense recently it has changed, alot of waffles, beans, sausages and cheaper meats and now desserts are removed but not expressly told to guardians. One of my favourite aspects of the day‑care was the terrific menu when we started, stirfry, chicken etc. Love Dennis the Donkey for kids at the Crumlin. Happy to hear you are adding a new play area. While the outdoor play areas are ok, the new Sleepy Hollow outdoor areas are better, such as climbing frames. Things that might be improved. I enjoy the mix of sessions the kids do and the pictures and messages about their day. My favourite part is the people; they make it sense better to leave our kids for the day. I truly like Sleepy Hollow.

I able’ t wait to be able to get back into the day‑care again to see the day to day things, but the use of the software app has helped keep us in touch. Their attention to detail has been so wonderful throughout. We had home approved childcare by one of the team as I worked in the NHS for the first three months of the pandemic, and when the day‑care went open, I was delighted for both my kids to go back into a group environment. They have done their absolute best. The early childhood centre has been fabulous through this pandemic.

I sense that my kid’ s development has improved vastly from attending crèche here. As well as plenty of creative and sensory- stimulating sessions. Lots of outdoor sessions are organised when the weather is wonderful. The facilities are terrific, but it’ s the sessions planned that I like the most. The team are one of the best things about Sleepy Hollow, and the reason I’ d strongly suggest this crèche to friends and family. When I have asked for changes to be made, like nap schedules or dietary changes, the team have implemented them immediately and made sure everyone is aware. When my baby had a small head bump accident, they informed us straight away and kept us updated. The team offer daily updates on sessions, food eaten and nappies. They were so supportive, and my baby just loved being in their company. The team made the transition for her to start day‑care seamless. My little one has been at Sleepy Hollow for five months now, and she adores it.
