October 8, 2024 at 12:47 pmThe service is excellent, and the educators are exceptional. My daughter is so cheerful here. I would suggest it to anyone who wants to send their kid to a really great childcare centre. The educators are so polite and very understanding. My daughter goes to childcare centre cheerful and comes back cheerful; she absolutely loves it compared to the other childcare centre she used to go to where she would go there crying and I would pick her up crying. Makes me cheerful that my kid is cheerful and in a secure, cheerful setting where I know she will be cared for. This is the best childcare centre/pre-reception ever.

November 4, 2024 at 5:56 pmThe team are extremely attentive, and my daughter skips out of the door each day keen to tell me all the exciting things she has done.
Being on-site with the school means she has access to French, Music and PE, which are all included within the reasonable day rate.
The childcare centre sends educational materials home to help develop her reading, and we are regularly kept up to date with her development and areas for development.
We really do sense our daughter has been given an accelerated start and cannot think of a better place for our daughter to prepare for a seamless transition to reception. We cannot suggest this childcare centre more highly.
After relocating, we viewed almost all other childcare centre settings within the area, and Sherborne is simply a cut above the others.
Our daughter joined pre-reception, and her development and the care given has been exceptional.

December 1, 2024 at 7:29 amAll team go the extra mile. My son has settled wonderfully in the hedgehog room, with team constantly offering reassurance and cuddles when needed. Nothing is too much trouble – consistently felt heard and requests met. Incredible childcare centre!

December 23, 2024 at 5:39 pmHe loves his lessons and has made excellent development with his jammed packed days of activities! He talks about his music and PE lessons as particular favourites! He has really benefitted from eating with his peers and delighted in telling me that school food “is yummy”! School updates is great, and all team and specifically key team are approachable to talk anything through! Our son started two days a week; we have noticed how much he has come on and talks about all his lovely friends and educators.

Our son gets excited to attend and consistently comes come spotless cheerful and eager to return. Team could not be more supportive and very supportive of keyworkers. Exceptional team and facilities.

February 19, 2025 at 7:29 amMy son joined the childcare centre at six months old and has blossomed. The facilities are excellent. He particularly loves going out into the garden and playing with the myriad of toys and equipment. The childcare centre team are fantastic at introducing him to older childcare centre members and supporting his development – for example, language, movement and behaviour. Very much recommended! The childcare centre is staffed by an incredible attentive team, with outstanding training and excellent interpersonal skills.

The team are remarkable, it’s been very difficult for them during Covid, but they have coped admirably. We had planned to send her elsewhere for reception, but have now decided to keep her here till she’s 11! Moving our daughter to Sherborne House was a excellent decision.

As both of us were keyworkers, our kid had to go into school all through lockdown, and the care provided has been eccentric. The app is an added bonus, and we get to have a really great insight into our kid’s incredible day at the childcare centre. Ever so grateful for all your care! An incredible childcare centre and preschool.

The childcare centre manager is so approachable, and the team team is exceptional. They are providing informative and structured education at all times. I am particularly impressed by their science input and French introduction to the toddlers. The childcare centre also values developing kids’s independence. My daughter now enjoys taking off her own clothes and starts using the potty. All in all, she is very cheerful there, and I have recommended the childcare centre to my friends and neighbours. My daughter joined in the toddler room of Sherborne House Childcare centre following our relocation.

They make an effort to introduce themselves and really get to know the kids and understand their characters. We also really value the daily feedback we receive. We have been so glad we moved our kids to Sherborne.

We noticed along the way she was discovering a lot that could have only come from the childcare centre, so the educational and discovering part of her journey was consistently clear. The app is excellent, and the team are very consistent in updating it daily. The team at Sherborne House Childcare centre are remarkable.

April 20, 2025 at 7:31 amAt Sherborne House, safeguarding is ensured. They are also quite accommodating.
My daughter has settled down in two weeks and now started to delight in her time there and building friendships. Organised discovering and activities is a excellent advantage as they do benefit from the main school on the same site.
Although they accept 15hrs only (not 30hrs) early year fund per week, their daily charge is lower than our previous childcare centre. Hence, the actual difference in monthly fees is minimum. Certainly, great value for money.
Overall, cheerful with Sherborne House Childcare centre/Preschool. It looks that we have made the right decision to move my daughter to Sherborne House from another local childcare centre (where safeguarding is a problem).

April 21, 2025 at 7:04 pmThe team are so attentive, work at her ability and have really supported and encouraged her to make a smooth transition from childcare centre to preschool. She is only 3, but I can see that she is so ready for school and has been so well equipped from this outstanding setting and nurturing care she receives to be the best version of herself with very strong foundations in place. I can say hand on my heart that they really do go above and beyond and that all team are very vigilant, attentive, attentive and hands-on. They use a range of equipment and media to develop the kids’s interests and development, and make excellent observations and sharing of updates is also above and beyond. My daughter has so much enjoyable here and an incredible set of friends – (including with the team who she thinks are also her best friends). My daughter attends 5 days a week, and I have never been so comfortable with anyone having my kid in their care for such a long period of time, including family.

She loves going to childcare centre, and the sheer variety of activities, which are clearly very carefully considered to assistance development but also encourage their individual preferences and curiosity, are remarkable. My daughter was diagnosed with hearing difficulty, and the assistance provided to her by the childcare centre team to assistance her needs and help her adapt, as well as providing reassurance to myself as a parent, have been stellar. The childcare centre standards are outstanding in all respects, and, combined with such a welcoming, positive and proactive setting, makes for a truly outstanding childcare centre. My daughter joined the childcare centre when it opened, and from the start, I was impressed by the team, quality of care, facilities and overall management.

The team are extremely welcoming and provide an outstanding variety of activities including specialist sport and music lessons for pre-reception. We have two daughters at Sherborne House Childcare centre (one in babies and one in pre-reception).
