The team are highly gentle and understanding with one of my kids who struggle especially. Consistently patient and excellent.

October 25, 2024 at 2:20 pmThey fit so much into each day with lovely projects week by week. He has learnt so much, I’m consistently surprised with what he comes out with.
At home, he is a fussy eater but eats everything at childcare centre, and I like the menu they have for the kids.
I am contacted if he has an accident and sense he’s in highly secure hands when this has happened. Our son loves it at childcare centre.

Highly supportive with different stages, such as potty training or the transition to school.
The team are welcoming, hard working, and above all, want the best for all the kids. The childcare centre and the team there are outstanding!

December 5, 2024 at 1:45 amThey are so welcoming and accommodating and have truly taken the time to help my kid adjust to a new childcare centre setting. They have gotten to know my son and vice versa since opening, and he absolutely loves it there! The food they provide is incredible; they consistently do extra little activities with the kids, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with Selca!
They have incredible resources, make craft objects, and provide outstanding space for discovering and playtime!
On the management side, they are quick to respond to emails and consistently so lovely. The fantastic team at Selca provide wraparound care for my little boy from school five days a week.

December 6, 2024 at 3:03 pmShe adores all the team, and we’ve consistently been incredibly impressed with the care and facilities in the setting. We’ve never had any concerns whatsoever in the almost 2-years she’s been coming.
The menu is adventurous compared to some of the types of food served to small kids in other settings, which we truly appreciate as it mirrors what we try and encourage at home in hopes of avoiding having another fussy eater, which so far, seems to be working!
She’s just received her school place offer and will be starting in September, and honestly, I sense everyone at Selca has done an incredible job of preparing her for school, particularly through the pandemic in which most of her little life has been lived through. We can’t fault the childcare centre, facilities or team. Keep doing what you do! Since my kid started in Selca just after her first birthday, she has flourished!

I consider the team, past and present, as friends and consistently felt that they truly do care for the kids. I would highly suggest Selca to anyone looking for childcare. Selca Day Childcare centre is a remarkable childcare centre.

January 3, 2025 at 7:06 amShe’s now three and ready to move onto school in September, but she’ll be back for wrap around! She absolutely loves it at childcare centre. The team are incredible, activities are enjoyable and educational. They have a lovely little garden, which is used often and a park nearby. Updates with parents is excellent, the app for reports works well, and it’s nice to see photos of her having enjoyable in the childcare centre. My daughter has been attending Selca since she was ten months old.

January 10, 2025 at 8:10 amHowever, the fantastic team at Selca Day Childcare centre have made him sense comfortable and adapted ways that work well with my little fella. He absolutely loves one member of team in particular, and I sense his time with Selca Day Childcare centre has helped him to be able to settle into a school setting more easily when the time comes. There are daily reports via an app on my phone which usually include photos so I can see what enjoyable he’s been up to. I use the free childcare offer but unlike some nurseries, he has meals and snacks included in his day without any extra cost to myself. Overall I would highly suggest Selca Day Childcare centre to anyone looking for childcare within the Llanharan area. My little boy is non-verbal and so I was apprehensive about leaving him in a childcare centre setting.

February 6, 2025 at 12:58 pmMy little girl has been attending since October 2021 and goes 3 days a week. On the days that she doesn’t go she misses it. The team at Selca are lovely and clearly passionate about what they do. My little girl is in the butterflies class and has come on so much since starting there. I adore that they update on an app each day and send individual photos of what she has been doing each day along with a detailed description including what she has been discovering, how she’s been feeling and what she has eaten. Each month they concentrate on a different topic, which makes the little ones so inquisitive and interested, every time I collect my little girl from Selca she is so excited to tell me about what she has learned that day. Thank you so much for creating such a welcoming, educational setting for my little girl. Such a lovely childcare centre.

March 21, 2025 at 2:21 amMy 18 month old also now attends. Incredible team, attentive, flexible and understanding. Kids are consistently cheerful there and are messy coming home which shows how much enjoyable they have had with activities and Discovering through playtime. There have been many improvements over the years which have consistently had the kids at the heart which is exactly how it should be and they have directly benefited the kids. I have to mention how outstanding the manager is and has been over the last 8 years, you are an asset to the childcare centre. My son has attended for 8 years and due to this has attended full days from 8 months old to wrap around, breakfast club and after school club.

March 24, 2025 at 9:28 pmThere are so many activities, crafts and outings to keep him entertained and to help with his development and discovering. The team are so welcoming and enthusiastic, and this has truly helped our son to settle in quickly.
We would definitely suggest this childcare centre. Our son has such enjoyable at childcare centre!

April 2, 2025 at 6:47 pmMy eldest went to Llanharan, and my son is now in the sister one. I can honestly say I would suggest the childcare centre to anyone. Every single member of team has consistently been pleasant, enthusiastic and welcoming to our kids and us.
I have never once felt anxious leaving the kids there and knowing they are in the best hands.
The kids have consistently had enjoyable, and I adore the daily pictures/updates. Updates is outstanding and feels lucky that the kids have such a lovely childcare centre on our doorstep. My kids have been using Selca Day Childcare centre for around four years.

April 5, 2025 at 11:19 amA remarkable setting for enjoyable and discovering. My little girl benefits so much from the time she’s spent here. From the understanding shown during the settling in sessions to the daily reports I get sent, I’m consistently confident my little one is secure, looked after and cheerful. She gets opportunities to learn about lots of different topics and gets messy too! The food menu is fab with loads of variety and healthy choices. Highly recommended. Excellent team.

April 29, 2025 at 3:33 pmWe were worried about her settling as she is highly attached to her mum, but within a couple of weeks, she has settled amazingly into the baby room! She loves all the other kids in her room and adores the baby room team! We honestly can’t thank the three team in the baby room enough for settling her in so well, she doesn’t even look back and cry anymore when being handed over! We adore seeing all the pictures that the team upload of her every day carrying out activities! We have saved every photo from her first session until now in an album for us to look back on! We adore how much the team go above and beyond to make sure she is cheerful and contented every time she’s in the childcare centre! We consistently sense so relaxed dropping her off and know she is having enjoyable! They have also been a excellent help with her weaning and trying new foods! Our 10-month-old daughter has settled so well into childcare centre since starting in February!

The app consistently shows activities, pictures and information.
I have got to know some of the team members through pick up and drop off but a lot of team I am still unaware of their names. My kids adore the childcare centre!

They do so much with the kids, and it surprises me every day the amount she is discovering through playtime! Absolutely exceptional childcare centre.
