November 3, 2020 at 12:00 amSuper nursery – structured, but flexible. Seahorse manages to blend a caring environment with a firm intention to progress the children. The management and members of staff are switched on and on my wavelength. My daughter incorporates polite turns of phrases in her chat that we haven’t taught her yet. Her interest in books and recognition of numbers are impressive (the latter aided I think by watching Numberblocks on CBBC). Her creation of pieces of art is encouraging, especially as we don’t do much art at home to avoid the mess. She says (since she turned two) she has enjoyed her day. I speak to many parents in a park who want or wanted their child to go to Seahorse, but couldn’t for lack space at the relevant time. I feel she is having a quality experience.

November 25, 2020 at 12:00 amMy son is 1 and 1/2 years old. He really enjoyed going to the nursery. As soon as he’s at the gates, he’s looking forward to going in. They have structured learning and always provide updates to the child’s progress. The food they provide is excellent. My child was a fussy eater to start with, and slowly he ate more and more. Also, my son enjoys helping to bake cupcakes. Overall, an outstanding nursery.

December 4, 2020 at 12:00 amMy daughter started Seahorse when she was 1. She left in August this year aged 3.5 due to starting at a nursery attached to future primary school. I truly believe she could not have been more cared for and nurtured in the way that she has been by Seahorse. From day 1, they went out of their way to make sure she was settling in well and forming strong bonds with the staff in her room (and looking after me as I left in tears). They always provided detailed feedback on how she spent her days, including emotions/food eaten/who she had played with etc. When picking up, I would often come a bit early and everyone was having a blast whether it was reading funny stories or playing games. My daughter has the best sense of humour and is so kind and considering the time spent at Seahorse, they must at least partly take the credit. Issues like when she was scared of fireworks or would not sleep in her own bed were overcome through things Seahorse did or suggested. Thoroughly recommend them.

December 8, 2020 at 12:00 amOver a short period of time, the staff and in particular, the key person, made a strong bond with my 8-month-old at the time. This made the transition from home to nursery very smooth, tear-free and reassuring.

January 19, 2021 at 12:00 amWe had an overall good experience with Seahorse Nursery, can’t really compare to any other nurseries as we have no prior nursery experience. At times we did feel communication from nursery was poor and sometimes combative; this has however improved in the last few months since Seahorse reopened after lockdown 1 and our daughter finally moved up to the next level. We also feel that the high turnover of staff is not ideal. When we enrolled our daughter back in January 2019 we did so because of the staff but in the time she left the baby room not a single one of the staff members were still with the nursery. Last thing the parent app is terrible and in today’s day and age of technology, surely there must be something better out there.
Overall we had a good experience and would like to thank you for being part of our daughter’s younger years education.

April 29, 2021 at 12:00 amWe have been really pleased with the care provided by Seahorse Nursery – Wimbledon Park Day Nursery and the progress our children have made there. The nursery workers are genuinely really loving towards the children and we have great confidence they are being well looked after. The management team are very proactive with child development at the very core of their focus. The activities at every stage are really varied with external music classes, trips to the playground and the weekly forest school, all of which have been a real highlight. I’d definitely recommend to any family in the area.

July 26, 2021 at 12:00 amFinding the best childcare is one of the hardest decisions in life. As soon as I met the manager and the team at Seahorse Nursery Wimbledon Park, I felt totally at ease. My son always goes to nursery happy and comes home happy, talking excitedly about his day. This is a testament to the team’s passion, care and attention and my child is definitely growing into a happy, confident boy. The manager and the team are incredibly engaged in all of the children’s development and have created a nurturing, safe and fun environment, where my son loves all the different activities, from crafts and music to playing outside. Their daily reports which include all of my son’s activities and lovely photos are really useful and ensure that I’m kept fully up to date with everything my son enjoys and learns.

August 5, 2021 at 12:00 amThe team at Seahorses have a great programme that has taken great care of our son. He grew in confidence and really has embraced the fun and engaging learning. His key worker went out of her way to get to know him and help him settle and then has been there to give hugs and challenge him whenever he needed it. The programme delivered is stimulating, educating, and above all fun, what more could you ask for, for your little one!

August 11, 2021 at 12:00 amOur family relocated to London from South Korea and finding the right nursery was a great mission.
Both my children were new to English and the new environment. Seahorse staff were extremely mindful of our situation and always went the extra mile to help our boys with love and care. Fast forward 1 year and a half (today), both my boys are extremely happy and confident. We have had an amazing time and experience at the nursery and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice nursery. They have a very diverse program ranging from music, dancing, and myriads of activities, which keeps children always interesting. They also have an app that gives real-time feedback with pictures of how children do each day. For the upper class, they also do a weekly forest walk at the park, which was always a thrill for my sons. Most importantly, the teachers are amazing, and you can really tell they care for the children with their hearts. I am very grateful for that. Definitely, a thumbs up!

August 7, 2023 at 12:00 amOur daughter has had an amazing experience throughout her time at Seahorse Nursery – Wimbledon Park Day Nursery. Based at the Parkhouse venue she has blossomed into a smart, emotionally, intelligent and happy child. She loves the teachers and other children. They participate in a range of activities such as tennis and French, spend plenty of time outdoors and generally just have a lot of fun! We can’t imagine sending her anywhere better!
