Rise & Shine Day Nursery & Pre School

Our daughter feels settled and is always very excited to go to nursery. She has also become more talkative and interacts more at home with both her parents and her brother. We were already familiar with various members of staff from our son’s previous nursery so we knew that she would be in good hands. The management staff do a great job and everyone is so friendly are welcoming. The daily report provided at the end of her nursery day is also useful in knowing what she ate that day and how long she napped for. We highly recommend Rise & Shine Day Nursery & Pre School.

We are very pleased with our child’s development since joining. He is more engaged, playing with others and the nursery are assisting with his speech development. Lovely nursery with lovely staff.

My son has been at this nursery just over a year now. He loves coming to nursery and has such fun when he’s there.
We have seen such a change in him since being there with his speech and his personality.
They do lovely activities and he comes home with lots of drawings etc.
The staff are lovely here, and so warm and welcoming when going in, in the morning and at the end of the day. The setting is lovely and so much to do.
The emails at the end of the day are great as you get to see all that they have done.
I have recommended this nursery to people as I am so happy with it.

My experience at Rise and Shine Nursery has been excellent. The facilities are kept well maintained, very clean and lots for children to do. The staff are amazing, they are all so friendly and you feel confident in leaving your child with them. They have a lot of time to speak to you if you needed too. Myself and my husband couldn’t be happier with Rise & Shine Nursery for our 18 month old daughter. My daughter’s been attending the nursery for over 6 months and the difference in what she can do in this space of time and her confidence has really grown. Not only that but we are most happy with the wonderful staff at the nursery. The Manager is excellent as are her team of extremely caring and dedicated staff. Before our daughter started, she attended a number of settling-in sessions which definitely helped ensure a happy and positive start to nursery (especially as she was a ‘Covid baby’). We can’t believe how many activities they do each day. Facilities here are literally second to none as the children have access to a huge soft playroom in addition to their normal room. The outdoor area is big too and they go into the garden each day. The setting is safe and private. The staff keep us fully up to date with our daughter’s progress at nursery through the app and daily (email) reports.

Since my son, has been at Rise & Shine nursery we have only ever had good things to say and feel about this nursery. He loves everyone there and never wants to leave when it’s home time! The staff are wonderful, the facilities are brilliant and the way the nursery is run and organised is a 10/10. He eats every single thing they provide and looks forward to spending time in their garden and the DOJO room! Overall we love it and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else!

I couldn’t ask for a better place to send my son two days a week while I’m working in London. I know that he is completely safe and has the best time. The staff are lovely and I was so impressed with the Manager, I didn’t even need to view another nursery as I knew I wanted him to go there. The cleanliness is excellent and I completely trust everyone who works there. I can’t recommend it enough!

My son has been going to Rise & Shine Day Nursery & Pre School for about 8 months. Staff really supported him when he first started and helped him gradually familiarise with the environment. They are welcoming, warm, friendly and they do their best to help our children thrive. The manager is amazing and set a great example to all the lovely staff working there.
When I accompany my son in the morning, I always feel confident that he is going to have a great time. Staff are kind and patient and organise activities to help our children learn and develop their skills in a safe and nurturing environment. I love the spaces and I really like the fact that children spend time outdoors when the weather allows. I really appreciate receiving feed back about how my son is progressing.

Both my children attend Rise & Shine Day Nursery, and I could not fault it. I honestly feel when I drop my children off, they are with family. The environment is warm, kind, welcoming, and above all, safe. My son has attended for over a year, and he has come on leaps and bounds. My daughter, who was a “lockdown baby”, has come out of her shell and loves the interaction with her friends and all the staff. The garden is fab, the dojo room is brilliant, and the main thing is my children ask to go even on the days they don’t. Thank you, Rise & Shine.

My triplets have been at this nursery since January and I couldn’t be happier. As an early years teacher with eighteen years experience, I found finding a nursery for my own children very difficult. Rise & Shine Day Nursery is an excellent early years setting, with fantastic, well structured and adult-focused activities, as well as engaging independent provision. I get a detailed daily report about food eaten, nappy changes, nap times and activities from that day. They also have a learning app with photos and full early years foundation stage assessments that detail of all three of my boys. Most importantly to me though, is that every member of staff is friendly, polite and welcoming. They show genuine care and kindness towards all my boys, who are always so excited to arrive in the morning.
