April 18, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been going to Rand Farm Park Day Nursery & Pre-School since September 2021. She looks forward to every day when she’s there! The staff are supportive and helpful when you would like to work towards a goal and if you have a concern. They have just opened a new preschool room there and it is just what three to four-year-olds need, a big open planned room. The children have regular visits to the farm and get to be mini farmers by helping collect the chicken eggs and feeding the lambs. Friendly staff! Meals vary from hot and cold meals which are made on the farm.

April 19, 2022 at 12:00 amA dear friend once said to me that everything you learn that enhances you as an individual can be classed as a life stripe. Our granddaughter goes here and it is the most fabulous pre-school ever! She loves the staff, she loves the new building, and she loves all the activities they provide, above and beyond a normal school setting. Where else would they get to feed lambs or weigh out animal feed, watch cows milked weekly and have fabulous home-cooked meals and snacks so they learn where food comes from. This has been such an invaluable experience for her and I thank everyone at Rand Farm Park Nursery and Pre-school for these life stripes.

May 18, 2022 at 12:00 amThe best nursery around by far! All the ladies that have cared for my two girls have been so friendly, welcoming and caring. The facilities are exceptional and I absolutely love that it is all nature based. The access to everything on the farm just extends the nursery and gives all the kids so many amazing experiences and memories. My girls love coming here and often ask to go on days they’re not in. I can’t thank all the ladies here enough for not only making my girls so happy on their days here but also all the support they give.

May 18, 2022 at 12:00 amThe staff are always very welcoming and put you at ease. It’s hard to leave your child in the beginning but knowing that the staff are so kind and caring and that there going to have an amazing time each day makes it much easier.
The children have the most amazing hands on experiences and alway come home exhausted which is a plus!! The food they eat is incredible! And we can’t compliment the staff enough.

My grandson is always so excited to be going to nursery and I’m sure his little sister will be the same.

May 18, 2022 at 12:00 amMy little boy has been coming to Rand Farm since December. The ladies are the best with him, so friendly and welcoming. He has come on leaps and bounds since starting here. He absolutely loves that he can go on the farm every day and seeing the animals

May 26, 2022 at 12:00 amMy little girl started in the baby room in January, she had only ever been with me or her nanny, she was very upset at the beginning, but the lovely staff reassured me that she would soon settle, and sure enough within three weeks she had done just that. All with thanks to the patient and caring staff.
Fast forward to May and she has moved up a group and is thriving! She loves going to nursery and I feel it’s the best decision I ever made!

May 31, 2022 at 12:00 amAbsolutely love this nursery. The staff are wonderful and welcoming and they care for my little boy like he is there own. The staff take your lead on everything and are happy to adjust their day to keep in line with your child’s routine and needs. The facilities are fantastic and they are outside or on the farm at any chance they get along with being filled up on healthy home cooked meals and snacks throughout the day.

June 21, 2022 at 12:00 amAs a mum with two young children at the nursery both who need extra help(sen), I have to say the staff have been amazing! Problems are identified very quickly and the relevant services made contact with, the staff are so friendly and always have time to listen to you and any concerns and do their utmost to help.
My children are learning so much and all the outdoor experience is just amazing, my children are excited to go and don’t want to come home! The environment is amazing and there is so much for them to do and learn, it is safe and secure and everything children need to thrive, keep up the amazing work!

Brilliant nursery, always going on the farm and having the best time. My eldest has been there from nine months and it is so nice to hear about how much fun he has had.

September 21, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter is fifteen months old and in the baby room. She has been going to this nursery for six months now and since my last review six months ago she has grown into a very chatty, social able little lady. In the beginning, our daughter was quiet and took a while to warm up to new people but now she jumps (literally) at the chance to say hello to everybody. I have seen such a difference in her development, physically and mentally, this is down to many factors but mainly because of the staff looking after her, I always get an update on her day and photos. I have loved seeing her development and a big thank you to the lovely and very patient staff!

Our little boy has been attending for nearly two years, and he gets so excited when he wakes up knowing he’s going to see all his friends. The staff are amazing and treat each child as their own along with making sure parents are happy and settled also. Couldn’t recommend enough.

February 6, 2023 at 12:00 amMy 2-year-old son attends this nursery and I cannot praise this setting enough. He never wanted to come home when I come to collect, which just proves to the level of care he receives is 2nd to none. The staff are all just brilliant with all the children and I love seeing how they are with all the children. I have never been happier with a setting and I would recommend this nursery to all my friends. My son has really come on leaps and bounds since being at Rand. So thank you to all the staff at Rand.

February 21, 2023 at 12:00 amThis setting is an amazing setting in every way from their Ethos and the lengths they go to to make not just the children but their parents feel comfortable, my daughter has thrived since starting the setting and it’s all down to the staff and her interaction with the Farm. Their rooms are beautiful and we love the Natural resource and how they encourage her to use her imagination and as we know a young childs imagination is endless cannot rate the setting enough.

The nursery provide some fantastic opportunities for the children, ours particularly love the farm, outdoor play and being mini farmers!
The staff have always been very welcoming, professional and supportive.

July 24, 2023 at 12:00 amBoth of my children now attend this nursery and both absolutely love it. Our oldest asks every morning to go and will be so sad to leave (when he has to go to school).
My boys are in the baby room and preschool room and all of the staff are fantastic. They provide so much love and care for the children and as a parent – that makes me feel so happy knowing my boys are truly cared for and loved. All staff including the manager are always happy to talk and always take the time to speak. I would absolutely recommend this nursery to anyone.

From the second we first contacted the nursery we have been greeted with an amazing amount of guidance, professionalism and have been made to feel extremely welcome. The staff member in the baby room are fantastic.
They are extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
After the first settling in sessions my daughter attended, staff members explained the parent app to myself and shortly after I had been securely added to the system information regarding my daughter’s activities, nappy changes, sleep etc were added frequently so I could view this whilst at work, giving me great insight on what my daughter has been doing throughout the day. I find this amazing and really is lovely to see. Even within the short period of time since starting, my daughter’s development has increased significantly.
Having a farm setting and very often attending the farm and seeing/feeding the animals is just wonderful.

July 31, 2023 at 12:00 amWe are coming to my son’s final week at Rand after three amazing years. I honestly would have Rand as my first pref nursery, even if we lived further away. The staff are fantastic and very engaged with the children. A fantastic nursery for high-energy, outdoor kids like my son.
He has thrived at Rand, and we are both very sad to be graduating this summer.
Thank you to all Rand staff, past and present, for contributing to our experience.
