RAFA Kidz Odiham

As both my husband and I were key workers, we needed to find a place for our daughter to ensure that we could both work through the lockdown. I phoned RAFA Kidz and the manager was extremely supportive. They took out all the stress of a very stressful situation and with ease and professionalism introduced our daughter into their childcare centre. From that day on, and for the three months that she has been at RAFA we have been so cheerful with the care and assistance they have shown and our daughter has loved her days there. It truly feels like she is going to an extension of our family, even in these strange times where we could not go in and see her in the childcare centre setting. Overall, we have found our journey with RAFA Kidz remarkable and we would not hesitate to suggest them. During the COVID-19 lockdown, our childcare centre closed, just as our 10-month-old daughter was due to start, and I was due to return to work in the local hospital.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the development of my son during this time. Friendships have flourished between key workers and other kids as well as lots of opportunities for new experiences. Team have consistently greeted us with a smile and been available to listen to any concerns. They have also persevered! When we first left my son he was not a cheerful chap and screamed a lot. But the team worked well at settling him and encouraging him to explore new things. I couldn’t suggest RAFA Kidz enough for the growth and development of your kid. My son joined RAFA Kidz in September 2019 at 18 months old and has just graduated from the preschool class of 2022.

In the beginning, it was my eldest son who will be in year 3 as of September, followed shortly thereafter by my second son who attended Rafa kidz. As a result of spending time at the childcare centre, both of my kids have learned all the basic skills they will need for primary school. We were very impressed with the team’s kindness and care. Moreover, the cyclic menu is full of nutritional value and tasty for kids as well. Overall, it is a very great childcare centre providing expert care. I must say that this childcare centre is lovely.

My kid has additional needs and the childcare centre is so well equipped to handle any additional needs and they are very experienced, so supportive and welcoming. When my kid first started here she couldn’t even say more than 5 words now she can speak sentences and has come so far with the help and assistance of the team here at this childcare centre. My kid loves coming here. I would suggest this childcare centre to anyone since my kid started here she has learned so much.

Absolutely remarkable childcare centre with the most attentive team, they have made us sense welcomed as a family from the moment we stepped foot in the childcare centre and our boys have felt like part of the RAFA Kidz family.

I have a 16mth old in the baby room and he is thriving and enjoys going to spend time with his favourite people, he is a very active little boy and there is so much to keep him occupied and to further his development. I absolutely adore the relationships and bonds he has with the team within the room and how they take the time to know his personality and what are his likes and dislikes.
My 4-year-old is in the older room and he has so much enjoyable, I adore how the team are encouraging more independence ready for school but still also on hand to help him when he needs/wants it. The garden space is incredible and gives him a chance to burn off some of his energy. He is also a massive fan of the food and the menu is fabulous, my youngest son has a dairy allergy and this is catered for perfectly.
My boys going into childcare centre cheerful and smiling on a morning shows me how cheerful and settled they are there! Both my boys attend here and adore it!

Although there has been many changes over our time, what I can say is the management are incredible. They go above and beyond for the families and more importantly the kids. The kids are at the heart of everything planned and it’s been particularly nice to see outer agencies and organised events coming into the setting, which our little one has really enjoyed. Our little one is now more than ready for school and will miss friends and team. He is consistently running in and out with a big smile which makes me very cheerful. Thank you for making his time memorable, he definitely will not forget the team. Our little one has been at RAFA Kidz Odiham since 9 months old.

We couldn’t be happier with it. The team are compassionate, welcoming and full of energy. My kid has developed a excellent bond with all of the team and regularly talks about them and the childcare centre when she is at home. The food provided is a huge positive. It is all freshly cooked on-site and so varied. The childcare centre are extremely accommodating and when needed have been willing to try and amend our session times due to work commitments. When the setting briefly closed for COVID, my daughter was pestering multiple times a day asking when it would be open again. This is a testament to how much she loves it! In the last year, the whole childcare centre was fully redecorated, and they are currently doing a full revamp of the fantastic outdoor space too. As parents, we could not be happier, and I know my kid would prefer to be nowhere else. A truly fantastic setting, with lovely attentive team. Our daughter has been attending this setting for nearly 3 years.
