Purple Lion Day Nurseries (Chingford)

As a brand new childcare centre, I expected some teething issues, but from the highly beginning, she has been completely cheerful and content there. It’s a inviting and nurturing setting with a relatively small number of kids, and my daughter has a strong bond with her key workers there, all of whom are lovely. They do different activities every week including ballet, football and music, the garden is surprisingly large for the space, and the food is excellent – she never comes home hungry. We’re truly pleased with her development there and highly cheerful we found the childcare centre just as it opened. My daughter started at Purple Lion childcare centre in June 2022, on the day that it opened.

Our little boy joined in July 2022 when he was about 13 months old and he absolutely loves it. He has formed excellent relationships with the team and is consistently full of beans when we collect him. We adore that the size of the childcare centre means he is able to get to know all the team as well as many of the kids in the toddler group too, which has developed his social skills enormously and helps him sense secure in the setting. The team give us comprehensive in-person updates at the end of the day, which means we can also develop a trusting relationship with them. They call us if they have any concerns and are interested in our son’s development and wellbeing outside of his time at childcare centre. The childcare centre also has a excellent outdoor space. We see our son’s skills and self‑assurance building every day thanks to the team there and would suggest. We couldn’t be happier with our journey at Purple Lion in Chingford.

Her development with speech, numbers and words has been a joy to see and the intimate setting makes her sense secure and secure while ensuring we sense comfortable in having her there.

None of this could be achieved without the work of the incredible team who continue to help build our daughter’s self‑assurance and ensure each day helps her grow and develop more than the last. The end-of-day updates, picture and reports on our kid’s development also means we don’t miss out on anything and can work with the childcare centre to keep our little girl cheerful. Our daughter has been attending Purple Lion since the setting opened last year and we have been so pleased with the care and attention she has received during this time.

The care that she has received has been remarkable, the team are highly inviting, engaging and supportive. We strongly sense that she has grown in self‑assurance, her social skills have improved, she has learned new skills and even eats foods she doesn’t seem to be keen on at home! This is all down to the outstanding care that she has received, where she feels comfortable and secure. The team are highly supportive of the babies, but also the assistance we have had as parents is excellent. This is the first time we’ve ever had any interaction with a childcare centre and they have supported us in the transition to childcare, answered questions we’ve had and made us sense highly comfortable – so thank you we are highly grateful! Our daughter joined Purple Lion in March and we adore the childcare centre.
