Pumpkins Day Nursery

All 4 of my children have gone here, with 2 of them still attending. My youngest has severe special needs too and has just been diagnosed as severely autistic, but still gets all the care he needs and so much more!

My son attended Pumpkins Day Nursery from the age of 14 months and immediately we felt supported and happy with our choice. The staff are amazing, very kind and caring, nothing ever too much. The children are encouraged to make choices and their independence promoted.

My son attended throughout the pandemic as a keyworker child, the staff team remaining became family during this difficult period for all. The efforts they went to every week to cheer the keyworkers on was tremendous. They created a fun, engaging and safe place during an uncertain time when most nurseries closed their doors. My son flourished and his speech came along leaps and bounds. We are truly grateful for all their efforts and determination to stay open not to mention the water parties my son had!

We moved areas in September 2021 otherwise my son would still be attending there now. Thank you to all the staff, we highly recommend.

I have 3 boys (3 months, 4 years and 6 years). The eldest 2 have been going to Pumpkins 4-5 days a week since they were 9mths old. The staff have been fantastic from the start, from helping them both settle in on their first day to getting them prepared for school.

My children are thriving and are very happy here. The staff are friendly, approachable and go the extra mile to help my children. I get regular updates via Tapestry letting me know what they have been doing which is amazing as some days I don’t get much from the boys when they get home. Communication between parents and staff is great, sometimes it can be difficult to talk at drop off/pick up but they make time if you need to talk or they are always available via phone.

Security and safeguarding of the children is of a high standard. Fees are reasonable along with the flexibility of hours/days. I like this nursery so much that when I found out I was pregnant with my youngest I called straight away to put him on the waiting list.

My son has been with pumpkins since September, the staff are incredible and would go above and beyond to help with anything. They’re always smiley and make so much effort to little things, my son also has allergies and these have always been taken very seriously and pumpkins have always been very professional with that. My son loves going to Pumpkins so much, in fact, he asks me if he’s going every morning and when it’s a day off he gets upset. I couldn’t recommend them enough, they’re trustworthy, honest, kind, friendly and fun.

A great nursery with outstanding staff. Really took care of my little boy and helped to get him school ready. Such a lovely bunch that really take their time to get to know you and your child. Couldn’t recommend pumpkins enough.

A 5-star nursery where the staff are very approachable and easy to talk to.
My little girl loves going here and her confidence has grown and grown.
The staff have helped with potty training and have been really patient with my little girl’s fussy eating encouraging her daily with trying new foods and rewarding her with a sticker chart.

The most amazing, caring and happy staff. My child happily goes into nursery and is always greeted with a smile. He enjoys the activities and learning and is always able to tell me what he has been up to. The staff always go above and beyond and he loves all of the teachers. He enjoys learning, playing and the amazing outside space.

5-star nursery, very friendly and caring staff, my son loves going there and is learning and developing so well in being there. They go above and beyond to make sure your child is happy, they are continuously learning new things and doing all different activities. I highly recommend this nursery.

Pumpkins Day Nursery is a really welcoming and accommodating nursery. They have been able to suit our chosen days/times without any problems and always help us out if we need to change. My child has really improved her language since joining and I believe this has a lot to do with her time at Pumpkins! She loves all the messy play and activities that she doesn’t usually do at home. Couldn’t ask for more!

Fantastic nursery with exceptional staff. My girls thoroughly enjoy attending this setting and have done so since 6 months of age (now 8 and 7!). We would highly recommend this nursery setting.
