Primley Park Private Day Nursery and Pre-school, Roundhay

They work so hard to make each day different and engaging for my toddler. They consistently ask about the family and send personalised, handmade cards and crafts home. The use of discovering book means I can see updates on what shes been doing most days which also helps with the parent guilt of leaving them. The slips at the end of each day keep me updated with nappies, food intake and what shes been up to. The team have contributed massively to teaching and helping my daughter develop over the last 6 months. The food and nappies all in package means one less thing to worry about, whilst rushing to and from work, and the menu seems varied and changes. The childcare centre rooms are consistently spotless and tidy. The childcare centre is lovely, the team are welcoming and even those that don’t work in the same room, often know my daughter by name.

The team are so nice, compassionate and welcoming to kids and parents. They take the time to let you know what your kid has done each day. They sense genuine pride when my kid learns something new or does something great and supportive. My journey of this childcare centre is incredible.

I moved my kid to full-time days as I became busier at work and with how settled he was during his half days I believed he would be also cheerful. However, when we would go to drop off we would notice the room busier with more crying babies and less team and when we would go to pick up were told he was difficult and not settled. I also had to bring my kid home once because of this. It became apparent team were overworked with too many kids and the care was compromised. I have had to now hire a nanny to have my kid 121 which means more cost but he is getting a lot more attention and is thriving again. I have had team tell me they don’t blame me and this is something management needs to truly address as care should not be compromised and more team should be hired to manage the amount of kids. Previously I had provided a 5-star review when I was exceptionally cheerful with the service but believe it is important to also be honest of ongoing experiences.

They are attentive, supportive and supportive. I do think however there has been a lot of senior management changes since my kid joined and ideally, I would like a return to more regular and detailed discovering book updates. In terms of value for money, I think the allocation in the day rate for food is highly high and so the benefits of the 30 free hours of care is less beneficial. My journey of the team at Primley has been highly great and my kid has been highly cheerful with all her key workers to date.

My kid has made exceptional development since attending this last year. Her discovering journey has been shared through the discovering book app and this is lovely to see. My only negative would be for this to be updated more regularly, however, I understand it is time-consuming and the priority for team is to spend time with the kids and on the various activities.
I adore the emphasis on outdoor discovering, the natural materials used and the various activities my kid does including rolling cars through paint, arts and crafts and making teas and coffees. Circle time and action songs are a highlight for my kid and she has learnt a lot from these. I would suggest the childcare centre to everyone. Highly welcoming childcare centre.

Team are highly polite and I think my kid feels secure around them. There are great indoor and outdoor activities for the kids. I get feedback from the team, which is highly important for me. Cheerful with the childcare centre.

So compassionate and attentive. The atmosphere in the childcare centre is welcoming and homely. My kid has settled in so well and clearly enjoys his time here highly much. Lots of different enjoyable activities and time outdoors in the garden. I have recommended Primley Park to friends and family. The team in the toddler room are incredible!

The educators are so attentive, well‑informed and capable. They have made, what was a big transition for my son, incredibly easy.
I sense so confident that they operate with the highest level of safety and duty of care. The rooms are generous, spotless and truly beautifully decorated.
It’s been such a relief to find somewhere that cares so much for my son. I cannot thank them enough. We cannot speak highly enough of our journey with Primley Park.

Updates and onboarding were outstanding, all of the team have been excellent at making sure our son settled in well and have kept us informed of any issues, developments and daily feedback and he’s consistently cheerful when we’ve collected him at the end of the day. It’s given us excellent peace of mind knowing he’s in such a nurturing setting. We’ve had a remarkable journey with Primely Park Childcare centre.

She settled in within 2 weeks and she loves it. She gets excited to go in and the girls in the toddler room take such great care of her. She truly adores them and goes straight over for cuddles at drop off. They keep me well informed and consistently make time for me on the phone and at handover. The manager is also truly well informed and approachable and takes a keen interest in the kids. I sense highly comfortable leaving her there and she’s discovering so much. They have different activities every day and lots of outside playtime which was important to us. The outside area is lovely and inside consistently seems spotless and there are a variety of toys and activities. The only thing I sense is missing is that I would adore a handover on an app that I could see in real time eg nappy changes/food etc rather than a paper handover especially with the recent price increase. But I am thrilled with our choice of childcare centre! My little one started at Primley Park Private Day Childcare centre and Pre-school in March.
