July 29, 2020 at 12:00 amPoppies is a wonderful nursery. Absolutely fantastic with my little one (attends 2 days a week at the Marlow nursery). Supportive members of the team and they go above and beyond for our toddler; as well as providing support for us as parents.
Educational and spacious rooms, a lovely garden area for the children.
Can’t recommend enough.

July 29, 2020 at 12:00 amGreat family-orientated nursery. Great staff across all rooms (both our children have been to the nursery) who genuinely care and get to know the children. Because of this, it feels like a home away from home. Even my eldest loves going back to say hello to familiar faces. Communication is also good and the nursery provides home-cooked organic meals. Excellent.

They care so much about every one of them and are constantly thinking of ways to nurture and enrich them. My son flourished in their care – I just wish I moved him to Poppies earlier.

She gets up to different things each visit and a full report is given every day of her time and progress. Thanks guys!

What stands out is the caring nature of the staff, who genuinely take an interest in our child’s development and happiness. We have already secured a place for our baby.

I have always felt reassured and confident that my children were in great care and a nurturing environment. I always think and believe it’s a great place and wouldn’t exist without amazing staff who always give a high standard and genuine love and care for your child. I greatly appreciate all the love you have poured into my children; they have loved and enjoyed there time here. The turn over of staff continues to be low, which is always great to see.

Our experience with Poppies has been consistently fantastic. The staff are really friendly and it’s clear how much they genuinely care about the children, their development and their well-being.
I’ve felt really supported with my son’s development and would highly recommend this nursery to other parents.

November 11, 2020 at 12:00 amMy eldest daughter (now at school) attended and now my middle daughter attends Poppies at Marlow. They both loved/love it, the staff are amazing! I can’t begin to praise their handling of the Covid-19 situation. I will be sending my youngest there as well in time and cannot speak more highly of the nursery as a whole.

Our boy needs special attention, he gets all the support he needs and more. 99% of the time he loves being there, loves the setting and loves the staff (what child wouldn’t rather be at home 1% of the time?). Not only are they supportive of our child, but they also support us and we always feel like we can talk to them. We feel lucky and privileged to have our child attend a great nursery.

August 24, 2021 at 12:00 amWe chose Poppies for our daughter based on the feel we got for the place and particularly the staff and we have never been disappointed. Despite having to start in the middle of a global pandemic, our little girl has settled beautifully and adores her days at nursery. She quickly formed bonds with both staff and the other children around her and we’ve watched her confidence with being away from home soar. Activities are thoughtfully planned out, staff take whatever time you need to talk and chat, menus are varied and healthy so there has never been any concerns or worries. As a parent when you put your child into all-day childcare you want them to be as comfortable and as loved and happy as if they were at home and Poppies has always provided that.

September 1, 2021 at 12:00 amMy 20month old has been here since January when we moved to the area. Great nursery and staff, who provide a safe and fun early years environment.
My son has developed so much given the current circumstances with the lockdown rules, and the team have been very professional and accommodating. As a parent you want to see your child flourish and develop, I feel that this is the perfect place to do so. I can’t thank the team enough for the hard work they did during the pandemic to keep the nursery open at such a high standard during these tough time.

November 4, 2021 at 12:00 amPoppies Day Nursery team have and continues to be amazing. Our daughter started nursery early at the age of 6 or 7 months old. And she easily settled in thanks to the amazing staff that helped her. As well as us as new parents, being reassured that she is well looked after, happy and excelling in terms of developing with lots and lots of healthy cooked meals. So happy we found Poppies Day Nursery – the next five are coming your way. So be prepared!

February 9, 2022 at 12:00 amPoppies Day Nursery, Marlow, is wonderful. I was nervous about sending my daughter to nursery, but they have been so brilliant I now have total confidence she’s having a wonderful time every day. The team are always unbelievably friendly and cheerful, even on the darkest mornings, and even the staff from other rooms welcome my daughter by name. Her key worker has been amazing: sensible, reassuring and fun, my daughter adores her!
The nursery has a brilliant friendly, family atmosphere. They are constantly investing in new toys and always have fun messy play and themed activities – like making fireworks paintings for Bonfire Night. They have also been very helpful and accommodating of my daughter’s changing dietary requirements, never batting an eyelid at my requests! A huge thank you to the team, I can confidently recommend Poppies Nursery to any Marlow family.

My daughter has been here since she was six months old and my son (now five) had been with Poppies for four years. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my children as I know they are in the safest hands possible. I can’t thank the ladies enough for always letting me know every detail big or small and always making me feel so relaxed knowing my child is in brilliant hands. I am always greeted with the biggest smile and a lovely chat. Thank you all for everything you do. Parents don’t always appreciate how hard it is looking after more than one child but from the bottom of my heart thank you for all you do. You are all amazing!

February 2, 2023 at 12:00 amMy grandson has been at Poppies since he was 10 months old and has grown up to be very confident happy little boy who loves nursery and joining in. The staff are really supportive, kind and fun and this is what really makes a nursery. He also tells me that the food is delicious. The older groups also have some structured time, sitting down doing arts and crafts and games which I think really helps prepare them for school

The staff are always enthusiastic and chatty and he loves his days there. Management are always easy to get hold of, and I have confidence in their ability to manage his allergies which I appreciate as a parent! Would recommend to any parents in the area.

May 23, 2023 at 12:00 amAfter having an incident at my daughter’s old nursery, I had viewed 3/4 nurseries all of which were not suitable until I came to Poppies and I instantly knew this was the nursery I wanted my daughter to attend, so much so I signed her up there and then after the tour.
My daughter settled instantly, feeling comfortable and confident to join in with the other children from her first day.
The nursery is of a good size, clean and welcoming. The garden is safe, well enclosed and includes lots of activities.
My daughter’s speech and development has come on leaps and bounds since starting Poppies, it’s clear she is constantly learning. I love the regular ‘observation’ reports to see how much she is progressing in all areas.
Meals are prepared fresh on-site by a chef, I like the variety of balanced meals offered.
The team are all so lovely, approachable and professional. You can tell they are passionate about their job and nothing is ever too much for them.

June 28, 2023 at 12:00 amMarlow Poppies Day Nursery is such a lovely place with really kind and caring staff who really go the extra mile. My son has settled really well in such a short space of time. We are greeted with a warm welcome every morning and there is always a member of staff happy to give my son a cuddle when he arrives which I am so grateful for. The updates on the app are brilliant in understanding how your child has got on each day. All of the rooms and the garden have lovely set ups with plenty of toys to play with. The fresh food always smells delicious and my son really enjoys it. I highly recommended Marlow Poppies to anyone.
