September 21, 2022 at 12:00 amHaving spent the last six months at home with me, my daughter was naturally apprehensive to be left for the day, as was I! Her transition was smooth & stress-free all thanks to the wonderful, caring staff at the school. This morning she left my arms with a smile on her face and I walked away confident that she was going to have another wonderful day.

September 22, 2022 at 12:00 amOur son has recently started at Poppies and we have seen so much progress in his development. The staff are really on the ball with making sure every opportunity is a learning opportunity and he clearly has a fun time at nursery. We are very happy with all the staff who are very reassuring to us as parents and our son. We are also impressed with the purpose-built facilities and we are glad that we have chosen this location (vs. other Poppies / other nurseries).

October 11, 2022 at 12:00 amA very welcoming atmosphere greeted me at my grandparents’ breakfast today. Reunited with my granddaughter I was instantly struck by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. It is evident that she is in a caring and ordered environment in which she is clearly settled and happy. I was able to see the various spaces both inside and out available to her as well as those in earlier and later years. I was impressed by the range of educational and creative stimuli which will no doubt equip her for later years in school.

The event was an opportunity to see both our grandchildren for the first time there. We were very impressed looking around the rooms and all the different activities on display and the creativity of the displays around the rooms to improve the nursery experience. Received a warm welcome from all the staff

October 30, 2022 at 12:00 amWe were invited to the nursery for grandparent’s morning. We were welcomed at the door by a very pleasant manager who gave us a very warm welcome. We were offered a lovely selection of breakfast dishes and warm drinks by one of the nursery staff. Escorted to see our granddaughter at play and meet the staff who were well informed about all the children. What a lovely way to spend a morning. Thank you all.

November 24, 2022 at 12:00 amOur children have been at Poppies for over two years, with our eldest recently starting school, where she is now thriving thanks to the foundations she built at nursery. Both have always been very happy at the nursery and loved their room leaders and key carers. The management team are excellent and supports families, and all staff are knowledgeable and approachable, with a brilliant core team who have been with the nursery for a long time and are heavily invested in its success. You can tell they take pride in providing a nurturing and engaging setting for the children who leave well-prepared for school. The recent meadow project is also a great connection with the community!

December 16, 2022 at 12:00 amI am so glad we chose Poppies Day Nursery for our son’s nursery, he loves going and we can see the development in his speech and actions such as tidying away at home. All the staff are brilliant and genuinely care about the children’s well-being. Our son is so happy when he sees them approach the door as he arrives each day. The facilities are also great with an open door policy to playing outside in all weather along with a great selection of toys and books indoors. They also make an effort to provide lots of events such as dress-up days, parent’s evenings, sports days, grandparent’s day etc. Would highly recommend the nursery to anyone!

April 4, 2023 at 12:00 amWe love Poppies Day Nursery. My little one has settled in very well with lots of love and support from the baby room staff. He always comes home happy and his development since starting is wonderful. His key worker is the best and their bond is lovely to watch.
We couldn’t recommend it more highly. Very happy with our choice.

All of the staff have been amazing at helping him (and us!) settle into a new routine of nursery and work. One member of staff, in particular, has been absolutely awesome and genuinely cares for the kids she is responsible for and our son has built up a great relationship with her. We are new to the area, so finding a nursery that worked for us was important. Really pleased we chose Poppies.

His social development has come on leaps and bounds since he has been with Poppies. I would highly recommend this nursery if your child has any allergies and here for taking care.

April 6, 2023 at 12:00 amI viewed a handful of nurseries before I found Poppies in Maidenhead. I loved it as soon as I saw the lovely, clean, open space.
The staff are so friendly and make you feel at home straight away. My little boy has been happy here since day one.
My child loves playing with all the wooden toys and the sand pit. I would highly recommend Poppies.

The nursery itself is clean and tidy and the learning and creative schedule is great. Fantastic app, engagement from everyone, and the quality of the handover means we don’t miss a thing.

July 10, 2023 at 12:00 amOur son recently started at Poppies back in April after a move from London, and we have been so pleased with how well he has settled into the new setting.
We looked at a lot of nurseries in the local area, and Poppies really ticked all the boxes for us in many ways. The team are incredibly friendly and has been so understanding when we had many delays with our move to Maidenhead, which was a huge relief!
The nursery is purpose-built, clean and very conveniently located with great parking.
Our son is in the toddler room, and he honestly loves going to nursery and often talks of his favourite teachers. This is a very obvious sign that the staff are incredibly caring, loving and nurturing to the children. They also have a great garden which I found was something not all nurseries had as we feel outdoor play is crucial for children.
We would really recommend Poppies as it really is so important to feel your child is safe and happy, and we can 100% agree that we feel this at Poppies.

Starting from the settling sessions through to the everyday care for him, the team has met and exceeded our expectations! Since he started, he has become much more confident and independent, thanks to the amazing carers supporting his development and learning!
