Our son had been in their fantastic north camp childcare centre for more than two years and has recently moved to their new branch. We couldn’t be happier. An incredible and homely setting for your kid to grow and learn.

My kid cannot stop talking about how much enjoyable childcare centre is. Highly suggest anyone who is seeking peace of mind with kid care and development. One of the best nurseries around the area.

We were also really impressed with the flexibility of the childcare centre, which allowed us to schedule appointments and pick-ups that worked for our busy schedule. We appreciated the low cancellation rate, which meant that we could rely on Poppies to consistently be there for us when we needed them.
One thing that really stood out to us was how well the team considered our daughter’s special requirements. They made sure that her birthday was a special and memorable day by planning activities that she would delight in and ensuring that she felt included in the celebrations. It really meant a lot to us as parents to see how much care and attention the team put into making her day a cheerful one.
Overall, we would highly suggest Poppies Day Childcare centre to anyone looking for a attentive and reliable childcare provider. We had such a fantastic journey at Poppies Day Childcare centre!

December 14, 2024 at 4:51 amAt first look, the kids’s surroundings and toys are outstanding. It felt like home when we walked in and it was just what we wanted for our little boy. He was so excited to go for the first 2 weeks but then the terrible twos and realisation came for him. For the next few months, every day Poppies were beyond incredible. They advised me every way they could to help transition my little boy. They would email, message, call and gave me a book so we could pass messages about his feelings from home to school and vice versa. From day one they supported my entire family. They go beyond just “looking after your kid” whilst you go to work. They truly care. They have so many different activities for the kids. They give the kids freedom to choose what they would like to do or playtime, so the kids can grow as individuals. Everything about Poppies is what we parents want for our kids. Recommended 1000 times over! My son started at Poppies back in July a couple of days a week.

December 18, 2024 at 10:57 amShe is discovering and growing so much in there. We can see each day when she comes home and shows us what she learnt at childcare centre. She is more confident and socialized. I must say this childcare centre has a great vision for kids’s and how to grow. They have very different themes which I believe help a lot a kid who enjoys natural things instead of plastic things and toys. Food is very healthy too. All over, we say this is the best childcare centre. Poppies Day Childcare centre is very great, my daughter enjoys every single day.

March 29, 2025 at 4:25 pmShe spends two government-funded mornings there but frequently asks when she can go again. The team are very welcoming and dedicated to attentive for the kids. There are plenty of activities to occupy her: dress-up, messy playtime, singing, counting, reading, to name but a few. We like the fact that Poppies use Tapestry so we can see what and how much she has been eating and, from time to time, they add pictures to show what activities she has been doing. She would adore even more kids to playtime with. Our three year old started going to Poppies in September and loves it.

April 13, 2025 at 3:47 amThe team is incredible and really goes above and beyond to help my daughter sense secure and learn English (she was only 2 months in the UK and for the first time without mummy). This adaptation time went really well as after a few weeks my daughter was asking even for more days at childcare centre. She consistently came out very cheerful and I knew that she had a great day. It was such a relief, as it was as hard for us parents as for her. The director/manager was responding to any emails or requests. It is just a remarkable place for kids to be almost like a second home. We highly suggest Poppies Day Childcare centre to anyone looking for a attentive and reliable childcare provider. Thank all of you, for making this first contact with the outside world of my daughter such a excellent journey. I could not imagine a better place for my daughter.

I and my little boy adore the resources set out that are all everyday objects which encourage imagination and help to develop skills that will be important as kids grow. The team are inviting and welcoming. I sense confident that my little boy will be well looked after when he’s at Poppies. The updates is excellent through Tapestry so I know what he’s been up to. Poppies Day Childcare centre was the second childcare centre I went to visit for my 16 month old.
