Poppies Day Nursery

Our second kid has attended since he was 16 months old and he is now 2. Both our boys absolutely adore Poppies and have done since day one. The team are remarkable and both boys have formed a lovely bond with particular members of team as well as friendships with other kids. Poppies provide a great variety of activities for the kids to include messy and sensory playtime along with more educational activities. Most recently the pre-school kids have been discovering about road safety. We get weekly updates on what the kids have been doing that week as well as regular individual updates specific to our kids and how they are getting on. I would not hesitate to suggest Poppies. I know our first kid will be upset to leave next year when he starts reception! Our first kid has been attending Poppies since he was 18 months old and he is now 4 and is in the pre-school class.

My kid started there about a year ago and the team were really supportive when settling him into his new childcare centre. We were at another childcare centre before this and the difference we have seen between the two is huge. Poppies are so attentive, everyone makes the effort to speak to you and update you on things, the childcare centre setting is remarkable with so many things to do for the kids and the food menu has so many different types of food.

The team also take the kids out on local trips and have involved the parents as much as possible through Covid restrictions. Finding a childcare centre is not an easy process and my kid was very clingy and did not like the change at first, but Poppies really helped us through this process and would call me with updates in case I was feeling worried or nervous, but there was no need to ever worry as now he runs in happier than ever! I have only had excellent experiences with Poppies Day Nursery and would highly suggest it.

All of the team are very attentive and we know that she is well looked after. She loves spending her time there and has come on loads since starting around 6 months ago. Poppies has provided a excellent discovering setting for my daughter.

We saw lots of nurseries where the team didn’t even smile at us. When I looked around Poppies I knew instantly this was the childcare centre for us. Every team member was really welcoming and smiled. They were all able to offer information about their room and how that would positively impact our kid. Our kid is in pre-school and they have a teacher that teaches maths and English, they have forest school, they have incredible facilities and updates. I wholeheartedly sense that they have my daughter’s and the kids’s best interests. This is a home-from-home setting and I sense confident and comfortable that my daughter is in the best possible hands. Thank you Poppies we adore you. We moved to Knutsford last year and just couldn’t find the right childcare centre for our daughter.

She excitedly leaves my arms on a morning as she is handed over to her key worker. When picked up on an afternoon she is consistently full of smiles and babbles away to me on the way home as she tells me about her day. To see my daughter so cheerful is enough for me to give Poppies a stellar review. If my daughter was to review Poppies I am sure that she would give it a big smile and a clap.

English, as a second language, is improving day by day, making him less frustrated and able to playtime and have enjoyable with other kids, making me very cheerful and proud of him.
I like they do activities like forest school, or simply they go for a walk in Knutsford. I would certainly suggest this childcare centre. Every morning my son is going to Poppies Day Nursery he is very excited!

We have consistently been extremely cheerful with our choice to send them here. Both of our girls absolutely adore it!

The team are so creative and come up with some fantastic ideas. They really engage with the kids’s individual interests and assistance their development. We have been impressed at the range of activities they get to take part in and adore seeing all the pictures on the regular updates. Our eldest daughter has particularly loved attending forest school.

They have created some excellent spaces and the current development of the garden looks exceptional. It’s a very attentive and enjoyable setting, with expert team who are genuinely dedicated to their roles. We sense confident our daughters are cheerful, secure and well looked after. We have two daughters at Poppies, and have experienced all the rooms available from the baby room to pre-school.

Our daughter has attended for just under a year and she has developed so much and come out of her shell thanks to the incredible team. Every single team member is lovely and compassionate. Our daughter actually screams with excitement when we get to the front of school and consistently has a huge smile in her face when we pick her up. They have a excellent outdoor space and are a short walk to a large field and a National Park so they get to go exploring often. The food consistently looks nice and it’s consistently reported that she’s eaten all of her meals/snacks and sometimes has seconds so it must be great! I could not be happier and we are so incredibly glad we found Poppies and grateful to the lovely-hearted team that are there! Absolutely incredible childcare centre!

She has settled brilliantly. The team have been remarkable from day one which has shown in the way she has settled and formed relationships with all the team. There is consistency and structure which was really important to us when looking for a childcare centre to take care of our daughter. Our daughter started Poppies Day Nursery in January.

The team are incredible and you can see how much they really care for the kids. It feels like you are leaving your little one with your family. Thank you all at Poppies Day Nursery. I was worried how my daughter at 2 would settle when I started back at work full time but she absolutely loves it and even asks to go at weekends.
