Play & Learn Nursery Sutton Coldfield

My daughter has been going to Play and Learn for 2 years since she was 13 months old. From the moment that I was shown around the nursery, it was clear that they place the happiness and the development of each child at the centre of everything they do. They place a big emphasis on learning through play, and in my view, this is really effective. I’m beyond pleased with the rate of my daughter’s development, but more importantly, she is really happy at the nursery. She currently attends 3 days a week, but frequently asks to go on her days off!

The staff are fantastic and clearly enjoy what they do. They give detailed feedback at the end of each day, an annual parents evening and regular opportunities for you to get involved with activities which is a nice way to observe your child in the setting.
The setting itself is fantastic, with a nice indoor and outdoor space for all.

My twins began nursery in July 2018.
We were a little nervous, to begin with, however, the staff are all so kind and caring, they instantly make you feel at ease.
Our boys have such a lovely bond with the carers at nursery, the rooms are all bright and clean.
You can easily see the practitioners all enjoy what they do and the nursery is well managed.

I found it extremely hard to find a nursery that I felt comfortable sending my 1-year-old to. I looked at lots and when I found Play & Learn and had a look around I knew it was right straight away.
One of the little things that I loved was a no outdoor shoe policy for staff and parents in the baby room and next room up.
They had a dedicated area at the quiet end of the room for naps – this was a major thing for me as my son has always loved a dark, quiet room. So I was really stressed as to how he was going to fall asleep as he has always liked to fall asleep on me while being breastfed. But by day 2, he had completely mastered two naps a day, settling himself after a little cuddle by the staff. Receiving a photo on his account to show him snuggled up asleep made my day.
I receive updates daily on his care on his account from what he has eaten, his nap times and when his nappy changes were. I also receive photo/video updates to show what he has been up to that day.
The staff are all fantastic.

Absolutely fantastic! My son started at this nursery after lockdown had lifted and we were apprehensive given how long he had been at home and that it was a new nursery for him. We needn’t have been. All of the staff have been so fantastic and he has settled in well. There are different activities daily with lots of variety and dedicated outdoor play areas. I can’t recommend the nursery highly enough, thank you Play & Learn!

Both of our children have been at Play & Learn Nursery since they were 1 years old and it has been so lovely to see them develop under the kind and nurturing team. They have taken into consideration any special needs that our children have had and give detailed feedback on their progress whenever we have needed it.

We moved our little one to Play and Learn after the first covid lockdown due to the previous nursery deciding to remain shut. Play and Learn obviously wanted to reopen as per government guidelines and help parents get back to normality which was a good sign. Our daughter settled very quickly and really enjoys it there. It’s got to a stage where she just always wants to go to nursery and play with her friends, nothing has changed there. The staff are very friendly & supportive and we can see how they have helped our little one blossom into the girl she is today. They do encourage the little ones and help them progress further. We also enrolled our little boy when the time came and he joined the baby group upstairs. They have a great chef who dips into all types of food, very adventurous and always goes down well. There is also an app in which you can monitor your children’s activity. For the baby room, you get daily updates, for the toddler group, it’s at least once a week.

My 1-year-old daughter loves her nursery days. The staff are always so lovely and caring. They always provide fun, learning activities.
The whole setting is clean, happy and welcoming.
The staff go above and beyond for the young children under their care and I would highly recommend Play and Learn Nursery.

Fantastic nursery would recommend it to anyone. Great members of staff, always helpful and pleasant and let you know everything you need to know on a daily basis.
My son will be sad to leave but starts school this September.

Play & Learn Nursery is such a fantastic nursery. As a first time mummy, sending your child to nursery is such a scary idea because you’re so unsure of the unknown. Not only has Play & Learn ensured my little boy has settled in so well, they’ve always made sure that as parents we’re informed about everything he does.
He’s come on leaps and bounds and absolutely loves going to nursery!
Highly recommend and have no doubt we will use them in the future if it ever comes to it.

Our son is been going to Play & Learn Nursery for the last 6 months and he always goes in happily, made so many friends there.
The staff organise plenty of activities for children to help them learn and as parents, we can follow everything on the nursery’s app. It’s great to see all of them involved.
As parents, we can tell going to Play & Learn is been helping with our little one’s development and also with his behaviour.
The staff, manager and deputy manager are all lovely, so caring, they do an amazing job looking after the children and on every occasion they’ve been ever so helpful. I can not be thankful enough to them, knowing that our little one is in good hands means the world to us!
