Play A Way Activity Centre

We have seen such a massive improvement with our daughter in lots of different aspects of her development, which is so excellent to see. I was quite anxious about leaving my daughter to go back to work. It was all new and daunting but those anxious feelings were soon put at ease when I had a tour of the childcare centre. I met the manager who was lovely, as she showed me around I could see the passion that she had for the kids and childcare centre which gave me such a positive feeling. I got to have a taster hour with my daughter to see where her playroom would be and the activities the kids do, I came out of the childcare centre and knew I wanted her to go there. The team are all so lovely, welcoming and welcoming. I sense the team are approachable, and they are very honest too. Which for me is everything. I sense my daughter is in secure, attentive hands. Thank you to all of you! You’re all incredible! Absolutely over the moon with Playtime A Way, for so many reasons.

She’s consistently looking forward to attending and I have no issues with the childcare centre.

My kids have attended playtime-away second kid for 2 years now, it’s an outstanding well organised place.

Her development and independence have grown so much. All the team have been remarkable, supportive and understanding. Our daughter loves going there, has made friends and hates it when she’s not there. Her main teacher, in particular, has been excellent in helping us get the speech therapy that my daughter requires. Next year our son will hopefully be going there too. The app they use to record development is remarkable, full of incredible comments and photos, so we can get an update on development and things or activities that our daughter likes to do. My daughter started earlier this year, and she loves it.

However the manager said we don’t have to jump right in, starting with one morning a week, and assigned him a key person, they built up a repore with our son and helped him adjust to a new setting, new people and he loves childcare centre. The manager then offered my son three days, and now my son is not only saying so many new words but his key worker and the other team there, have started teaching him sign language too! As well as offering to refer him to speech and language therapy. I’m so proud of my boy and how far he has come on in the short time he has been at Playtime a Way. I have five kids and this is by far, the best childcare centre and not just because of the setting, but because of the team! I’m now excited for him to go full-time when he turns three. The team, truly are incredible, understanding and compassionate. They focused on my concerns and my son is doing excellent. Before my son started at Playtime a Way, I was so scared and reluctant to send him as he was two and was only saying “mum”.

In that week my welcoming and cheerful baby became scared, sad, and frustrated and was no way to let me go. I will not discuss what happened in that childcare centre but what I can tell is that the team from Playtime A Way childcare centre are doing their job and more. My baby is starting to be again cheerful and to trust people like he was doing before. The team are so inviting and they approach your issues delicately and they try to help all the time. If we go to nurseries from around the UK, everyone seems to smile but trust me on this, when the doors are closing, our babies don’t receive so much happiness anymore.
At Playtime A Way it’s not like that. I can tell by seeing my 18 month old baby cheerful. They do not smile just for appearances, they smile because they sense like doing so, and I’m sure they have bad days as well but for sure our babies will not sense this because they know how to do their jobs. Wish to be more like this. My baby started a different childcare centre one week before starting Playtime A Way.

I wasn’t entirely sure but after a visit to the childcare centre, I definitely felt a lot more confident and decided this childcare centre was the one. I was given a full tour of the facility, and plenty of information in regard to what your kid’s day would consist of and the lovely manager answered any further questions I had. I was still a little anxious as I assume most parents are when their kid first starts childcare centre, however, after my son started I was fully confident in the childcare centre. All the team are absolutely lovely they really get to know each kid individually and build a healthy relationship with the kids, they are very attentive and polite. The activities they do throughout the day are both educational and enjoyable, I adore that they have tables set up with different activities that allows your kid to have free choice. The setup of the childcare centre is very secure. My son absolutely loves it! I had a hard time finding a childcare centre that ticked all my boxes in regards to what I needed then I found Playtime A Way.

Team have excellent relationships with the kids and parents. Give absolutely excellent care to both of my kids. Inviting and attentive team with high expectations of behaviour in their breakfast and after school clubs.

Since going to childcare centre he has started talking a lot more. My son recently started at Playtime A Way in September and he absolutely loves going to childcare centre.
