September 1, 2024 at 10:10 amMy daughter absolutely loves it here, she started after Christmas. I can’t believe how much she’s came on since starting Pixley Dell Day Childcare centre. Her talking is incredible, she could hardly say five words before joining and now I can have conversations with her. She’s such a cheerful little girl and I’ve noticed her behaviour has massively changed since joining. She was such a shy little girl, wouldn’t go to anybody else or playtime with other kids. It’s incredible hearing nothing but great things when she finishes the day, of how well she’s doing and she’s consistently cheerful when I collect her and that’s enough as a parent to tell me she absolutely loves coming here. The girls and one male member of team are incredible with all the kids and it’s so nice to see how cheerful my daughter is with them. Exceptional childcare centre and can’t fault them for one thing at all.

I now have three kids attending this childcare centre, my eldest has been attending for just over one year now and his sister’s have recently started.

September 20, 2024 at 8:51 amI was very nervous about putting my son in childcare centre after a bad journey at the one I had chosen first. But I had nothing to worry about from the first settling in session, my son, at 9 months old, was cheerful and smiling. The girls were interacting with him. He comes home cheerful every day and worn out and sleeps all night which is an added bonus! He is discovering new stuff every day, loves the sign language classes, trying new foods and mixing with other kids. I get regular updates and pictures at work from the Pixley app which I adore brightens my working day seeing his little face. I would suggest the childcare centre to everyone. What a remarkable childcare centre and group of cheerful girls who look after my son.

The activities on offer are excellent, including signing tots and cooking.
The meals and snacks available have variety and are healthy and filling.
Outstanding updates from the team through the app. Excellent seeing photos of my daughter discovering and playing.
Very great value for money. My daughter has attended since just before her 2nd birthday and the development she has made is incredible.
The team are incredible.

October 11, 2024 at 7:02 pmI cannot suggest the setting enough. The team are very welcoming and welcoming and consistently put the kids first. I would highly suggest to anybody wanting a childcare centre in the Spennymoor area. My kid has just left here to start school in September and has been here since they were 15 months old.

The different things he’s discovering at the childcare centre you can see the difference in him, they also have an app you get photos of your kid sent to so you can know what they doing day in day out and the childcare centre! A exceptional childcare centre, would definitely suggest. My son started here in September, although he used to get upset when I was time for me to leave the girls have helped him fit in well.

January 5, 2025 at 6:08 amBoth of my kids have enjoyed it and my second kid is enjoying their time at Pixley Dell. The management and team cannot do much more to make the kid and parent cheerful. As a parent, I sense very confident leaving my kid in the care of such fantastic people. Everyone has a excellent positive attitude, and they have remarkable skills. My kids have learned a lot and it gave/gives them a excellent start into their lives. This is a lovely, cosy childcare centre.

He absolutely loves going and taking part in all of the different activities. The team are remarkable. Very approachable and flexible to changing circumstances. Very welcoming and supportive team which has really helped my little boy to settle and flourish. A remarkable childcare centre.

March 11, 2025 at 1:47 pmThe childcare centre team are what makes this childcare centre, they are extremely welcoming and very supportive to me when I collect my daughter, ensuring I pick everything up.
I adore the fact that this childcare centre use tapestry, so when I’m sat at work or home I get notifications on my email to show me the enjoyable things she’s been doing and discovering. My daughter has started here at seven months old and in the time she has been here, she has shown excellent self‑assurance.

My son and daughter really have come on so well in this setting, the team are so supportive and nurturing, we get updated via the online app on a regular basis. My son and daughter really delight in their time at childcare centre and have developed great bonds with both team and other kids, there are consistently a range of activities for them to do both inside and outside. They have early drop off breakfast club and also later pick up with has been really supportive for our family. Pixley Dell Day Childcare centre has helped my son develop confident skills to now attend school in September, he has been working on numbers, shapes and has developed really well in the preschool room as a result of the assistance from team. Updates with childcare centre has consistently been very great both via email and telephone and they are consistently on hand to offer assistance and advice. My son who is now four and daughter who is one have both attended this childcare centre from around eight months old.

I know he is secure and cheerful every day he is there and he loves all the team. They have consistently been flexible when we have needed to change days. The childcare centre is spotless and tidy. The outside space is small but full of enjoyable activities. My son started when he was eleven months old, he is now four years old.
