February 7, 2020 at 12:00 amMy little boy was 10 months when he started nursery. I was extremely anxious as we’ve had a negative experience in another nursery. However, my little one loved it from day one! 🙂 I didn’t feel guilty for leaving him there as I knew he was happy and having a lot of fun, and most importantly I knew he was safe. the staff in the baby room are absolutely amazing. I can’t recommend this nursery enough.

February 7, 2020 at 12:00 amOur son has been going Pixieland on Mannamead Rd for the last six months. Except for the first two weeks of getting used to being away from home, he has loved every single day at the nursery. The staff go above and beyond to make the nursery experience an enjoyable one and my son is so excited whenever he sees any of the staff. Everybody is very approachable and happy to help whenever necessary. I cannot rate my experience with Pixieland highly enough.

I feel so relaxed leaving my son there as they meet all his needs.

March 13, 2020 at 12:00 amMy little boy was at a different nursery setting where he was very unhappy and wasn’t thriving the way he should have been, and had been referred to speech and language also.
We decided to pull him from there and found him a place at Pixieland Day Nursery – Mannamead! Since then, he has been happier not only in nursery but at home, looks forward to going to nursery and has recently been signed off from speech and language having only been there since January. The staff are absolutely amazing here, nothing is too much and they give the children such amazing support, but also the parents too. I am so happy that my little boy is thriving at Pixieland Day Nursery and will most definitely be placing my youngest in there when he’s ready!
Thank you so much to the whole team at Pixieland Day Nursery for making such a massively positive impact on my boy!

March 15, 2021 at 12:00 amThe best nursery in Plymouth. The staff are all so wonderful and attentive to my daughter. She has been at Pixieland Day Nursery – Mannamead since September 2020 and has come on leaps and bound since. Her speech has improved dramatically and the staff are so encouraging! The daily diaries are a Godsend. It’s great to see what the children have been up to that day and what they’ve had to eat. The photos and videos are lovely, it’s so nice to get a glimpse of what my daughter does and how she interacts with the other children and staff. All in all, I can’t fault this nursery, it is just fantastic and sending my daughter here was the best decision I have made.

All members of staff are friendly, helpful, kind and caring. Nothing is ever too much for the manager and her team and this has been even more apparent during the current pandemic. Thank goodness for Pixieland Day Nursery – Mannamead, enabling a much needed happy environment for my son during these uncertain times.

Their learning has been incredible to watch and they come home from every session beaming! There’s never a dull day and the communication between staff and parents is top notch. Can’t recommend them more.

March 15, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son’s joined the nursery age three and nine months. Both have settled really well despite not being able to do usual settle sessions due to Covid-19. The staff are lovely and my son’s clearly adore them. My oldest son loves the nursery, is always excited to go and comes out full of energy and excitement, which is great as he always seemed a bit forlorn at his old nursery.

March 23, 2021 at 12:00 amOur eighteen month old boy joined in September, the first few sessions were hesitant however by the fourth, he was running in without goodbyes! The staff are so welcoming, encouraging and friendly. It feels like everyone really knows him and knows his name. The daily sessions are varied, creative and engaging. The communication is excellent with regards to his daily diary as well as all other matters. I would definitely recommend!

January 13, 2023 at 12:00 amMy daughter started at Pixieland Day Nursery, Mannamead just after her first birthday and has thrived ever since. The nursery are so friendly, professional and welcoming which makes it an amazing time for my daughter there. She absolutely loves attending and loves all the workers, especially one in particular, who has been brilliant. We love seeing the updates from the nursery and keeping up to date with what’s going on. Would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. Will be sad when my daughter leaves.

I could not ask for better people to take care of my son. They do so much with him and for him. I previously had him in another nursery, which made me worry about putting him in another but I was reassured and all my worries were put to bed before my son even started. I would highly recommend this team of ladies and their nursery. You can see from the minute they open the door in the mornings that they work well together and that they are a team, there’s always great communication from them, there is always reassurance and they can never do enough for you or your child. As you can tell I have so many positive things to say about this place. Thank you so much for everything 20/20 from me.

January 13, 2023 at 12:00 amOur little boy started when he was 8 months old and all the staff made it so comfortable and easy for me to drop him off each morning. He always has a huge smile on his face when we get to the red door in the morning. All the staff are approachable and friendly and so encouraging of not just my little one but also me if I’m not sure about how to encourage him with things. The daily diaries are so helpful and so is the communication at all times, never need to worry about ringing up during the day to ask anything – even on days when he isn’t in! I can’t recommend Pixieland enough, I’ll be so sad when it’s time to leave!

January 26, 2023 at 12:00 amWe have known Pixieland Mannamead for many years and we were so pleased that we could experience our own child going into Pixieland Mannamead. We know what a fantastic nursery it was beforehand but we didn’t expect how wonderful it is now our own child goes there. We are so impressed with the nursery, our son only goes once a week but we wish we could afford for him to go more. Every morning he asks if he can go to nursery and see his teachers and friends. The staff at the nursery feel more like family to us and are so relaxed and friendly. My son has made real true friendships there not only with the children but with the staff as well. My son has been going since 14 months old and every single room we have been in made us feel so happy and comfortable. My son has gone through every room apart from pre-school and not once have we had any problems at all. The staff have always met our wishes and we are so excited for his next adventure in pre-school.
