DirectionsOn Penny Pot Lane there is a small white picket fence, turn between two black gates, drive down to the very bottom, the Nursery is the last building on the left, walk down the side of the building and the entrance is at the bottom of the path.

September 24, 2024 at 7:00 amShe settled in immediately and is thriving in the new, exciting and nurturing setting. Her friendships have grown, she is able to express herself creatively, her homemade meals are varied and sound delicious.
I couldn’t be happier to have my kid at Penny Pot with their fantastic team.
The manager is incredible and truly helped me sense comfortable with transitioning nurseries. The team in Superstars organise excellent, enjoyable activities and keep me updated through the app, which is highly reassuring. My daughter started Superstars in Jan-22 after moving from another childcare centre.

October 24, 2024 at 8:36 amInitially, he was highly attached to me so it was hard to leave him, particularly as he would get upset. The team were incredible at settling him and helping me as well. Now, he can’t wait to run into the childcare centre, all smiles waiting to see everybody.
All the team are interested in him as an individual and want to help him development. I get pictures and updates throughout the day which helps me understand what’s going on. They consistently have all sorts of activities and there are all lots of plans to improve the childcare centre further. My son started here, in summer 2021 when he turned 1.

October 29, 2024 at 10:36 amStarting at only 8-months-old, I was worried and nervous to leave him in the care of others, but the remarkable team have put me at ease and have settled him so well. He has built excellent bonds and friendships with adults and other kids and is discovering new things daily. There is a wide range of excellent resources, activities and constant stimulation. I could not be happier choosing this childcare centre for my son’s first childcare centre.

November 9, 2024 at 10:38 amWhen he joined Pennypot Childcare centre I was overwhelmed with the care they gave my son. With the assistance of the team, he was able to immediately fit in without any problems. The care provided is expert, outstanding and exceptional. When I am at work I don’t even worry about my son because I know he is in perfect, capable and expert hands. My son has benefited tremendously and he has also developed and come out of his shell. He enjoys going to childcare centre. He has developed so much in his social skills and his vocabulary is rich and incredible. The childcare centre provides a secure, welcoming nurturing setting for the kids. Each day of the week is filled with different activities which are educational and enjoyable. One word to describe Pennypot Childcare centre would be “Incredible”. It is also highly great value for money. I would highly suggest Pennypot Childcare centre. My son transferred to Pennypot Childcare centre from another childcare centre during the course of the term.

November 10, 2024 at 6:34 amThey are both highly cheerful here and look forward to their childcare centre days. The personal approach of the management and team is outstanding. The managers also try to be flexible and understand the needs of working parents as well as the kids. My son has been attending since he was 7 months old, he is now 3.5 years and daughter just over a year, she is 18 months.

November 17, 2024 at 10:51 pmWithin just a few weeks in the Superstars room, she had made remarkable relationships with the team and lovely friendships with the other kids. She is coming home after each session having learnt something new and so excited to go back the following day.
She also participates in the organised Mini Kicks session which she wouldn’t have the opportunity to do without being at Penny Pot.
We are so grateful to the team for helping my little girl grow and develop into a much more confident outgoing little girl. When my little girl started at Penny Pot she was highly shy having been at home with Mum for three years.

Her passion for what she does was clear and she knew every kid’s name that we met across the initial tour of the childcare centre and spent time talking to them – it felt so personable and gave me such trust in the childcare centre! All of the team are incredible and did an incredible job of settling our daughter in (it wasn’t an easy transition with a lot of tears!). They put so much effort into each day and it has been incredible to see how confident, sociable and adventurous our daughter has become within the first few months of being there. We can’t thank them enough for what they do! Our daughter joined the childcare centre when she was 11 months old and as our first kid, we were so nervous about this transition.

February 3, 2025 at 12:12 pmWe found the childcare centre from the council list and of the ones we when to visit it was far bigger, more activities, more welcoming and they took her allergy highly seriously even training more team around this and setting up special instructions in every room and making her own medical bag.
I sense she is far safer due to the location and it also gives them more chance to go out to the local park.
The space in the childcare centre is fab, large rooms, a newly furnished outdoor and covered area so they can get out even when it’s raining.
The food is great and the level of activities she does every day are fab. The team are also excellent at instilling new things we are teaching her or encouraging her to playtime, share, be polite, learn and turn new things with self‑assurance.
Our daughter truly loves the team and other kids and consistently runs in and out cheerful. Our daughter couldn’t adore Penny Pot childcare centre in Harrogate more.

February 6, 2025 at 8:31 amThe childcare centre was completely renovated in 2021 and now the rooms have lots of different playtime areas with new and carefully considered toys/equipment.
The team plan a variety of activities for the kids to take part in, so they can join in with whatever they like. The themes designed for discovering are truly well-thought-out.
The management team is truly supportive and will do whatever they can to accommodate last minute requests.
Both of our sons have been at this childcare centre since they were 9 months, and the eldest is now nearly 4. They both absolutely adore it (all 4.5 days a week). I couldn’t ask for any more. Penny Pot is remarkable.

I adore the Penny Pot team and sense more than comfortable leaving him in their hands. My son settled in truly easily and his self‑assurance is growing daily.

March 2, 2025 at 8:44 amWe were both anxious to put her in full time but the team do a exceptional job and cannot be faulted. She absolutely adores them and has come on leaps and bounds since starting there at 1yo. Fab that you can go by the hours rather than a full time/part time block. We are moving area and taking her out of Penny Pot is by far the hardest thing of the lot as we now have a highly high expectation of the next place! So glad we chose Penny Pot for our kid’s first childcare centre.

March 5, 2025 at 6:44 amMy daughter is so much happier now that she has moved to Penny Pot childcare centre. There is much more of a family sense here, and the team are exceptional. There is loads for the kids to do, and there are parks within the base for the kids to use, and it’s just been refurbished inside and looks loads better. I’m so glad that we moved her here! The childcare centre has just been taken over by a new manager, and the difference is incredible!

The childcare centre and team are highly flexible and accommodating – highly recommended! Pennypot Pre-School is a lovely childcare centre.

The facilities are remarkable and the kids have so much space to run around. I would highly suggest this childcare centre. My son has been attending the childcare centre since he was 9 months old, he is just coming up to two now.

Penny Pot is a lovely, welcoming childcare centre and my daughter has been exceptionally cheerful there over the past 20 months including a transition to me returning to work full-time.

My son runs into the room every day excited and gives the team huge cuddles! They are consistently doing enjoyable activities, every day he is doing something different – even a trip to the local park. There’s been a big refurb and the place looks incredible, it’s a truly lovely space for the kids and the outdoor areas are fab. I can’t suggest this childcare centre enough, a remarkable manager and team who truly care about the kids they look after! So glad we chose this childcare centre! We moved our son to Penny Pot childcare centre in September, and I am so glad we did.

She has outstanding relationships with her carers and key worker, and the management are consistently highly supportive. All around lovely setting. My daughter first started Penny Pot Pre-School at 18 months old and is currently in pre-school getting ready to go to school in September.

July 1, 2025 at 8:07 pmIt’s much bigger than other childcare centre’s allowing more room to playtime and great outdoor space too. It’s a perfect ratio of team to kids allowing for a highly dedicated setting. Highly welcoming team, my little boy loves it here.
