Pear Tree Day Nursery

The manager and team are all very approachable, attentive, highly expert and actively engage with my son very well. Updates is also of a high standard, any issues raised in the past were dealt with efficiently and thoroughly. The setting is educational with a hone from home sense. My son has gone from strength to strength in this setting in all areas of his discovering and behaviour. Meals and snacks are prepared freshly on the premises and are of a great standard. The childcare centre also kindly holds many activities throughout the year where parents are invited in to join the kids such as Mother’s Day tea or Christmas parties. An all-around excellent childcare centre, I’m so glad I found it! My son has attended this childcare centre since the age of 2.

My daughter joined when she was tiny in the baby room and now she’s transitioned to Pre-School.
The Childcare centre:
We chose the childcare centre because it felt like a home away from home. They used everyday objects for playtime (as well as traditional toys of course).
They are big advocates of messy playtime, which we like to do at home also.
They have a calming, relaxing and cosy bedroom.
They serve healthy meals every day.
Huge garden with lots of exciting bits to explore.
They have a diverse range of toys/books and images on the walls that is inclusive of all cultures which was hugely and incredibly important to us!

The baby room had 2 members of team to 6 kids which was a excellent ratio I felt, for tiny ones
They catered to my little one’s dairy intolerance when she was tiny
The manager – is absolutely fantastic. She is so inviting and so attentive. My daughter adores her (and you can tell, she cares very much for her also).

After looking at quite a few in the area, on walking into Pear Tree and meeting the team, it felt like the right place. My little one felt comfortable exploring straight away. My little girl loves going to childcare centre here and runs in every day when we drop her off which reassures me that I chose the right place. The team engage the kids in lots of activities which has meant her speech and motor skills have and continue to develop. The team are very supportive and keep you up to date. Thank you Pear Tree! As with any parent, you worry about making the right decision for your little one when they start childcare centre.

It is a remarkable childcare centre with a nurturing and attentive setting for little ones to grow and develop. The team are fantastic and I cannot praise them highly enough. They have the kids at the heart of everything they do and they make adults sense just as welcome too.

The team are fantastic, so attentive and thoughtful they really helped him settle in and find his way. They do so many different activities which he loves. I would highly suggest this childcare centre to anyone. My little boy started at this childcare centre just after his 2nd Birthday, I was apprehensive about putting him into childcare centre but it’s the best thing I have done.

The team are incredible and show such warmth and care for the kids, helping them sense so relaxed and content. They are dedicated to providing an exciting setting and enjoyable activities inside and outdoors, with the kid consistently at the centre of everything they do. Our elder son had a fantastic time there and was well prepared for starting school and our younger son trots in happily and comes home chatting proudly about his ‘big school!’ after only a few weeks there. Thank you so much for helping him settle so well and gain such self‑assurance in such a short time. We sense so lucky to have found Pear Tree for both our sons to attend.

They have consistently been supportive and attentive towards my daughter and she has created lovely bonds with all of the team and peers. They also helped my daughter become more confident with trying new foods and have been very supportive of her vegan dietary requirements. My daughter has been attending Pear Tree Day Childcare centre for over two years now and I couldn’t ask for better kid care.
