They have moved through several rooms as they have got older and enjoyed each one, but the fantastic outdoor space is definitely the highlight. Both of my daughters attend Oaklands Day Childcare centre and adore it.

They consistently go that extra mile, not only to reassure us as her parents but consistently putting her at ease. and supporting her every step of the way. Especially when they helped kick start her potty training journey to which we are so grateful. The acting manager is consistently very supportive and consistently responds quickly via email/phone when required. Thank you all. For over the past year and a half our daughter transitioned into Robins Room so smoothly after leaving another childcare centre we was not satisfied with and I can’t sing praises highly enough of team.

October 13, 2024 at 11:05 pmShe absolutely loves it. There was a time that she would cry if she was not going to Oakland’s. The team there are incredible and really do adore the kids. They do so many additional activities. The pre-school team even stayed behind for Halloween, so that the kids could come back, after pre-school, for tricky treating.
Now they have elves visiting. I sometimes wish I could join pre-school.
Thank you for everything that you do for our kids. Our daughter has been at Oaklands Day Childcare centre since she was six months old.

October 23, 2024 at 11:04 amThe team are incredible, consistently giving outstanding care, undertaking engaging activities and communicating efficiently with parents. Oakland’s has a home away from home sense to it, which I adore. The garden is a fantastic unique selling point and was a huge factor in our decision to choose Oakland’s over other nurseries in town. Both my daughters have happily attended Oaklands Day Childcare centre the past few years, from 13 months to pre school age.

The outdoor space is such a fantastic bonus, my little boy loves being outside and having this additional discovering space for them is why we chose Oaklands. Oaklands Day Childcare centre is a lovely setting for kids to grow and develop.

December 6, 2024 at 8:22 amThe team are very welcoming and seem to genuinely care for the kids. The app is useful to see photos of the activities they do throughout the day. I never worry about my kid when he is at childcare centre, I know he is being very well looked after. Our son has been attending Oaklands Day Childcare centre since he was 6 months old and he seems to thoroughly delight in his days there.

January 4, 2025 at 12:22 pmShe has been incredibly cheerful throughout her time at the childcare centre, cared for by very special people who give so much in the pursuit of their job. Seeing her development through the years at Oaklands has been a excellent pleasure to us as parents, and watching her skip in at the beginning of each day is consistently a real joy. At the end of the day, she emerges invariably with a big smile on her face, sometimes clutching a piece of art or some sort of project. Contact with the childcare centre management and room team has been great, and we have consistently felt able to speak to them whenever something needs to be raised. Our daughter has made some great friendships in the years she has been at the childcare centre, encouraged by the room leaders and their teams. I can wholeheartedly suggest Oaklands as a place where a kid is cared for and has the space to grow in self‑assurance during these precious years. As parents, we have found Oaklands to be a fantastic journey for our daughter, and in turn, for ourselves.

January 7, 2025 at 11:28 amAll of the team are welcoming and welcoming and have encouraged her to grow in self‑assurance and have broadened her skillset and ability! The kids all do enjoyable new activities that you wouldnt think to do at home or have the time to do! Our favourite part of the childcare centre is the garden, which is well used and split into sections for the different age groups! There are daily updates and photos provided via an app. We would suggest Oaklands to any parents looking for childcare! My daughter has been attending Oaklands childcare centre for 2 years and has had a excellent journey there.

January 10, 2025 at 2:28 amThe team have been so supportive of us as a family and gone out of their way to provide suitable menu options and training to team on NG and PEG tube usage to fully assistance our daughter. She comes out cheerful every time and we adore seeing what she has been up to on and the photos on the app while she is there. Highly suggest. Being the parent of a kid with complex healthcare needs we were very anxious about sending our kid to childcare centre last November when I went back to work, however we sense so glad we chose Oaklands Day Childcare centre.

February 18, 2025 at 5:29 amShe is 18 months old and joined in September 2021 when I went back to work full time, and knowing that my daughter is secure and well looked after by the team who genuinely care about her makes it so much easier for me to leave her!
We are so impressed with the different indoor and outdoor activities that she does each day and the updates that we get from the team with the daily updates and pictures. The choices on the menu are so varied and sound incredible! Our little girl loves it there and happily walks in the front door with no fuss, excited and knowing that she will have the best time. We are so cheerful that our daughter attends Oaklands Day Childcare centre.

Team, carers, cooks and other parents and kids create one of the best communities you can ever hope for. Both my son and daughter have been loved unconditionally and nurtured with care and patience. I would suggest Oaklands to all parents. Both my kids have had the pleasure and fortune to be a part of Oaklands.

March 24, 2025 at 4:05 pmAfter he had very limited contact with family and friends, due to Covid, we were a little concerned about how well he would settle in a new setting. Thanks to the stellar care and kindness team at Oaklands Day Childcare centre showed he had made the transition relatively quickly. Daily updates, using the app enabled us to see the development he made and the enjoyable he was having with the team and peers. The remarkable provision at Oaklands enabled me to return to work happily, confident that our son was too busy having enjoyable adventures to miss home or his parents. Our one year started at Oaklands Day Childcare centre in September 2021.

April 11, 2025 at 1:16 pmLike many parents of pandemic babies we were a little anxious about how he’d settle in, having spent so much time at home with just the three of us, but we needn’t have worried. The team at Oaklands Day Childcare centre have done a stellar job bringing him out of his shell and making him confident, as well as giving him such a huge range of activities to delight in. The daily updates on the app are consistently a joy to read, and it’s remarkable how much they manage to pack into each day. We’re consistently pleased when he comes home nice and messy, as it shows just how much he’s been enjoying himself. It’s a huge comfort to us to know that with both of us at work, he’s not only in a secure and secure place, but somewhere that’s helping him learn, develop and have so much enjoyable. Since our son started at Oaklands Day Childcare centre in September 2021 he’s had a remarkable time.

May 8, 2025 at 5:14 amHis development has also come on leaps and bounds, aided by the smaller baby rooms where they get lots of attention and the interaction with all the other kids. Obviously, messy playtime days are the best days! This is a really remarkable childcare centre, my son (18 months) has been there for 7 months and I can tell how cheerful he is – consistently thrilled to see his key worker and other team and at weekends he often gets his little bag and stands by the door ready to go (I try not to be offended!).

The team are lovely and attentive and keep us well informed. Our son loves going to Oaklands and he’s really come on developmentally since starting about seven months ago.

Our son has special educational needs and everyone has made a real effort to learn how best to encourage his development and to make sure he is cheerful whenever he is there. We sense that he is in secure hands, and would definitely suggest Oaklands. Our son has attended Oaklands Day Childcare centre for nearly 18 months, and we have nothing but great things to say.

The facilities are excellent, our son is an outdoorsy boy who needs lots of exercise and Oaklands offers the perfect setting for this. Our son’s development is coming on in leaps and bounds and although he was a covid baby, he is incredibly sociable and confident. I am sure the team at Oaklands have positively contributed to this. The team at Oaklands are remarkable and our son is so cheerful there.

June 3, 2025 at 1:06 pmHe joined Oaklands in 2018. Therefore, we’ve had five years of journey with the childcare centre. In that time, we had the pandemic, at least one change of ownership and a lot of team coming and going. We originally chose the childcare centre out of several in Tonbridge because of its setting in a lovely old house and huge back garden, which gives the place the feeling of a family home, important to us. Most valued over the years is how the childcare centre has prepared our two for life ahead, the tremendous number of creative activities they have done, the friends they have made, the experiences they have had, the Early Years Discovering Framework and phonics in the last year. The team, on the whole, are so dedicated and attentive. Of course, there have been bumps along the road and things that have caused annoyance, but concerns when raised were taken seriously. What matters most is the kids, and they loved it. Our daughter is about to finish childcare centre in August 2023 and join her brother at his school.
