October 15, 2024 at 5:19 pmThere was a period earlier on this year when there were a lot of changes and team issues but new management has truly turned it around. Both of my sons attend Nurtureville and they are both cheerful and thriving. The new team seem cheerful and are very welcoming and I sense the kids are well looked after, fed well and given plenty of fun activities throughout the day.

October 16, 2024 at 8:13 amI enrolled my son in their baby room in March 2023 and they have been brilliant. Nurtureville in Loughton has without a doubt exceeded my expectations in all areas. They offer a wide range of activities to the kids throughout the day, eat healthy freshly cooked food, all areas are consistently spotless, spotless and tidy and most importantly my son is very cheerful there. He has settled in very quickly and formed bonds with team who I can tell truly care for him. I am consistently feeling confident taking my little one to childcare centre because I know that he will be looked after, loved and cheerful.

November 13, 2024 at 8:29 amSerious breaches followed by a recent Ofsted investigation. Perception is not reality with this childcare centre, unfortunately.
Having been told when looking at the childcare centre that there was new management and this was bringing all great changes, we found the opposite to be true. First, the deputy manager and our kid’s key worker left, then the manager, and more workers from other kids’s rooms, then followed by the new key worker for our kid. Regularly the pictures of our kid showed them to be looking bored, sat alone and with vacant tired expressions, when at home they are engaging smiling, and active, never sitting alone.
Regularly on drop off all kids of all ages were together with limited team, breaching the Ofsted quotas.
Our kid was picked up straight after a meal but had filthy hands from playing outside that hadn’t been washed.
We were emailed to say that an internal review was happening to address shortages etc but in fact, it was an Ofsted investigation following complaints.

The team are very kind and attentive, they do excellent activities for the kids and it truly is a home from home setting. We are incredibly thankful for the work everyone has put in recently and everything everyone at the childcare centre does for our daughter. I highly suggest.

It is rare to find a childcare centre that you can genuinely call a home away from home but that is exactly what Nurtureville has been for our kid over the past few years. Thank you Nurtureville for all you have done to help our daughter develop and flourish.

December 10, 2024 at 9:09 pmStaff go above and beyond. Fantastic childcare centre where the development and well-being of kids are clearly the top priority. There were some staffing issues in spring 2022 which have now been resolved and the team and childcare centre seem stronger than ever truly. Loads of fun activities to keep the kids entertained. Good communication with parents in form of a monthly newsletter, daily picture update, and even the occasional parents’ evening. Happy to suggest.

January 4, 2025 at 10:03 pmIt is a very nurturing childcare centre, with excellent communication with parents. This is a fantastic childcare centre and my little one has truly thrived. My little one enjoys his time here and the activities available which are creative and lovely to see. The food menu is varied and he seems to delight in these. It is an intimate and fairly small childcare centre which allows you to have 1:1 with team and other parents, which is supportive.
We are aware of the recent Ofsted involvement, however, this has not deterred us. The childcare centre and team have taken on board the concerns and very quickly the changes can be seen.
I would definitely not hesitate to suggest it and would definitely certainly encourage anyone to go and visit.

We are extremely cheerful with our son’s development since he’s started going to Nurtureville he has come out of his shell, growing in confidence and self esteem. The team is loving and truly competent. Also, come across as honest. They keep us updated about progress regularly.

My little boy who is 19 months has been attending this childcare centre 2 days a week since the beginning of December. He had little to none interaction with adults and other kids his age prior to attending this childcare centre and he is so much more confident in just a few months of him being there. Staff are consistently cheerful and approachable and I’m over the moon I chose this childcare centre for him.

February 7, 2025 at 1:01 amThey go above and beyond in communicating what my baby has been up to that day. Our nine-month-old started Nurtureville at the start of 2023 and so far we have been truly cheerful with the childcare centre.
All the team are truly cheerful, enthusiastic and welcoming. We receive updates in person, over tapestry and in her daily log book.
The activities vary every day which is important to me. Activities include being outside reading books, inside playing with playdough, in a ball pit, playing with sensory toys, lights, bubbles and a lot more. The baby’s room has just undergone a refurb and feels fresh and cosy, we adore that the room is carpeted! The team have done a truly great job at aligning my baby’s routine at the childcare centre close to what we do at home which is also very important to me and my partner. The variety of fresh food offered is also brilliant. Overall, truly cheerful. Thanks Nurtureville team!

March 27, 2025 at 5:49 amMy almost 3-year-old has been attending for around 1.5 years now and she’s so cheerful here. I can’t begin to explain in words how incredible this childcare centre is. The most important thing you need as working parents is total reassurance that your little one is content, loved and looked after at wherever you decide to place them whilst you’re at work. My husband and I both work and I do shifts, and NurtureVille have been so understanding of my sudden shift changes or unpredictable hours. They know my little girl so well, and she has such a special relationship with the team.
The manager has such a passion for the childcare centre and kids’s development and it shines through. They have chickens, large snails, and spend tons of time outside. My little one is often covered in mud with a big grin on her face and that’s exactly how kids should be spending their time. They complete development logs of all the kids and have an online photo portal too. Thank you for everything NurtureVille.

Would adore to see a return of the allotment where students grow their veg.

I can honestly say the team at this childcare centre are second to none, they are all absolutely incredible attentive people, my kid has grown so much and has learned so many important things which he will keep with him/her forever. The facilities and activities for our young minds are incredible.
