Nursery Rhymes - Leicester

My son moved into the toddler room in March 2022. The staff helped him adjust to life in a new home and new city. They read his file from the previous nursery and all helped to make the settling-in process very easy for him. Within a day, he felt at home. They also took into account his intolerance to gluten and have a special menu for him. My son says Hi to the chef and clearly appreciate the food. He has formed strong bonds with the carers particularly, his key worker, and often talks about her at home. I’m very impressed that she has made us a place to go guide and has helped him make cards for special occasions such as daddy’s birthday, father’s day etc. The management team are always present and the team are always available for a chat and to check in with me to see how he is doing. I appreciate the family atmosphere of the nursery where it is a home away from home and would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for making it a pleasant experience for us.

We highly recommend Nursery Rhymes, the care and communication from the staff is exceptional. The nursery has a lovely, homely feel to it and our son has thrived learning key skills and gaining confidence in social interactions with other children and forming wonderful bonds with staff and children alike. The nursery is well equipped to allow the children to explore their imagination and their potential.

My son joined Nursery Rhymes in July 2022, as a first time mum I was a little unsure of what to expect and how he (and I) would adjust. I honestly couldn’t be more impressed with the baby room leader and the team. She has shown such an interest in my Sons routine, eating habits and happiness. The Famly app is amazing, it means I can check in on him whilst I’m at work and communicate if needed. So thank you team rhymes – my son, my partner and myself really appreciate all your hard work!

The team have cared for two of our children. The baby room is safe and cosy, the messy play area offers a different zone and structure to meal times. The sleep zone teamed with white noise, black out curtains and beds offered us the comfort to know that our child feels safe and supported. Every stage – baby room, toddler room and now preschool the care, stimulation, cleanliness, and food offered has met our expectations. The toddler room not only supported my children but also us as parents through key development stages such as potty training. Through to preschool, ample stimulation and imaginative play is offered by the team. My children display a lot of confidence and willingness to learn outside of the nursery provision and this is a huge credit to the team. It is also positive that management are seen to reinvest in both the building and their team as well as their connection to the parents. The famly app is a communication tool we love to use. We cannot fault Nursery Rhymes!

Both my daughters have attended here since the age of one and I can say that we couldn’t be happier. So much so that we will also be putting my newly born son in their care next year. They update us throughout the day via the parents’ app on what our children have been up to, what activities they have taken part in, what they have eaten, how much they have slept, how many nappy changes they have had. The updates give us complete peace of mind knowing what they have been doing all day and help us prepare for the evenings when we collect them. The meals my children get are very varied, nutritious and they really enjoy them. My daughters love the daily activities and in particular Forest School that pre-school has on a Tuesday. Every member of staff at the nursery is fantastic as they all play a part in their care even when they have their own key workers who have been fantastic in my children’s development. We would highly recommend this nursery.

We only have praise for Nursery Rhymes. It has a loving, nurturing, playful environment with confident staff who have a genuine fondness for the children. The variety of educational activities is exceptional and the communication of my child’s development is really very good indeed.

Both our children have loved attending Nursery Rhymes and we continue to be extremely happy with all aspects of the setting.

Our daughter joined Nursery Rhymes when she was 9 months old. Previously we were on their waiting list whilst she attended another nursery. We removed her from the previous nursery as Nursery Rhymes was always our first choice.
Nursery Rhymes’ reputation is impeccable and the only place we wanted our daughter to attend knowing she would be safe, looked after, and educated. Our family and friends’ children have all attended Nursery Rhymes.
Being in education myself it is crucial for me to know how my daughter is progressing and if she is meeting her targets. The Nursery keeps us regularly updated on their policies and procedures, daily updates, observations, and areas of development in the early year’s framework and pictures via their app. The app is a great tool to share information quickly and puts parents’ minds at rest during the day.
During collection at the end of each day, staff updates us on our daughter’s day. We have also had a progress meeting where we discuss progress and targets.

We had heard such incredible things about Nursery Rhymes that we put our daughter’s name down before she was born – going purely on our gut instinct and the amazing things we had been told. She started when she was 6 months old and like every parent, we felt nervous about her settling in. However, I can’t describe how amazing it has been to see her develop and grow since starting Nursery Rhymes. The baby room staff and her key worker are so incredible, so kind and so attentive. We get regular updates throughout the day and I feel like our baby is part of her own little family away from home. The activities provided are so varied and well thought out. And our daughter does so much in a day that she comes home ready for bed! I get excited about dropping her off in the morning knowing that she is going to have such a fun day and be surrounded by so much love and attention. I could not recommend Nursery Rhymes and the baby room enough.

Nursery Rhymes is such a lovely nursery with an amazing environment. My little girl absolutely loves it and has gained so much from going. It has such a family feel and would highly recommend the nursery to anyone.

Excellent care provided. A lot of new things learnt by the babies and lots of days out. My baby is learning all the time whilst at nursery and picks up all sorts of different skills. The staff are amazing and so friendly. The use of the app is an excellent way to keep me updated about my baby’s day and you can always refer back to it whenever you need to. Staff are encouraging and listen to your child’s needs and wants. We always have a happy and messy baby back at the end of the day and we know he has always had a good day.
