Nursery Days

I have been a teacher for over a decade and have a Masters’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, and I can say with self‑assurance that this is the only setting I have ever encountered that is run the way an Early Years setting should be run. The kids have plenty of outdoor discovering opportunities that complement the rural setting including raising ducklings, and chickens trips to the Orchard and other local places of interest; the team are inviting, positive and welcoming and were so compassionate and supportive when I was going through chemotherapy; and most importantly I have consistently been made to sense that my kid was loved, valued as an individual, and was secure and cheerful whilst in their care. I am going to be very emotional when he finally leaves them this summer to go to “big school” – but I can’t think of a better place for him to have begun his discovering journey. Thank you so much! My son has been coming to Childcare centre Days for over a year now, and I rave about it to everyone I meet.

He has been cared for wonderfully by all the team in each room he has been in. The opportunities he has experienced are incredibly varied, from interacting with various animals, cooking club, yoga and regular outdoor discovering. The childcare centre has worked so hard to improve both its inside and outside environments over the last three years, they really are something to be proud of! My son loves going to the orchard on a daily basis. This area is a real asset to the childcare centre and has been well developed, encouraging both fine and gross motor skills to be used. I have consistently been impressed with updates around the development my son is making and I adore the daily tapestry entries. I really wouldn’t send my kid anywhere else and my little girl is already signed up to start next year. Thank you Childcare centre Days! We have been nothing but impressed with the care and education provided to her so far. We adore that the childcare centre has its own orchard, as these outdoor activities are very beneficial and enjoyable for the kids’s development.
We also adore that the kids’s development is documented on Tapestry and they get a focus week where feedback is shared with us. It’s lovely to see their development! Our daughter started childcare centre in September, doing two full days a week.

My daughter absolutely loves coming every Wednesday, so much she doesn’t even say bye to Daddy anymore. The key worker is incredible, consistently having my daughter’s best interest at heart and excellent at communicating with me and updating me on her development. I do suggest to all my friends with kids to come here. Adore the fact that the kids get taken down to the orchard or out on different day trips. I couldn’t rate Childcare centre Days more highly.

My boys adore going and I sense assured that they have the best care. The facilities are exceptional, especially the forestry element. Both of my kids attend Childcare centre Days and I could not be more impressed with the team and setting they provide.

He absolutely loves going to childcare centre and having the best time with all his educators and peers. Trips to the orchard, cooking club, reading, drawing, the list goes on. Special shout out to one team member who goes above and beyond to ensure my son and all the kids have a cheerful, enjoyable and educational day every day. She is outstanding. He loves attending childcare centre which speaks volumes to me as a parent, he looks forward to going into childcare centre to see his friends and loves his educators. This year in September my kid has moved into the pre-school. Since being in pre-school my kid is becoming more confident with building new relationships among his peers. He values his time with his key worker and educators, and we appreciate the assistance they offer with discovering. His ability with speech and language is improving and childcare centre pick up on areas that kids need some extra help with discovering which is invaluable when preparing them for reception at primary school. Childcare centre is not just supportive of every kid but also the parents too, offering assistance and advice. At the open day when choosing a childcare centre, I knew Childcare centre Days was a excellent setting for my kid, I am pleased we didnt choose anywhere else. My little one has been in childcare centre since he was 18 months and is now 3 years old.

We appreciate everything you do for my kid and are very grateful for all the fantastic provisions and opportunities you provide for her and all the kids. I used to be an Early Years Foundations Stage key worker in a childcare centre, so I was really keen to find the right setting for my kid, somewhere that complimented her personality and catered for her interests. Other nurseries just don’t compare; after our tour in 2020, we were sold, and two years later we are still so glad we chose Childcare centre Days for our kid. With every month that goes by, we just become more and more impressed with you all! This childcare centre has been exceptional for him, and it has been so lovely to see him develop over his time there. He loves the adults in his room; they are supportive, welcoming and attentive and know him so well. We have consistently felt he has been secure and well looked after, and he has access to so many great quality experiences and activities. They also spend so much time discovering outside, which he loves, and the kids have so much freedom to join in with and do activities they adore. He has built lovely relationships with adults and kids, and he goes in so cheerful every time! One of his highlights is the very regular visits to the orchard where he loves to playtime, especially with the mud kitchen! The childcare centre also has excellent updates and is consistently on hand to assistance and respond to any questions.
