Nuffy Bear Day Nursery Cheam

I chose this nursery because the welcome we received wasn’t like any of the others we had experienced. It felt personal and they showed real interest in my son (it didn’t feel like we were just another number). The nursery manager tailored the settling in period which put me at ease and my son settled in really quickly. He’s been there around 9 months now and is extremely attached to his key worker. We receive regular written reports on his development and verbal updates each time we collect him. His development has been extremely impressive. I was particularly drawn to the fact that they spend lots of time outdoors. They have a small play area but also have use of the sports playing field which they explore daily. They also often take the children up to the sports hall to play games which my son loves. I would highly recommend this nursery. All the staff members are really friendly and show great affection to all the children. I can’t thank them enough for looking after my son.

Nuffy Bear Day Nursery Cheam has been absolutely amazing for my little boy, especially during the pandemic. The whole team have so much compassion and love for the children, and it is very much mutual; they really do go above and beyond to create a happy learning environment for the little ones, which also includes lots of fun, which is a great introduction to education for them. I feel so confident when my son starts school, he will have an easy transition, and that is all thanks to the girls.

My daughter has now been at the nursery for a year and she absolutely loves it. Being a first-time mum, I was really anxious and cautious of putting her into a nursery/into the care of someone else. All the staff at Nuffy Bear Cheam are so lovely and welcoming, it instantly put me at ease. The staff are all so approachable and very professional. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since being at the nursery. Would recommend this nursery to anyone who is looking.

I just wanted to write to say thank you for coming to the rescue during the time of pandemic as my daughter’s nursery had shut down and we had no childcare. Nuffy Bear Day Nursery Cheam was so flexible with our changes of shift, as me and husband both are NHS workers. My daughter loves attending Nuffy Bear Day Nursery Cheam and has been for nearly a year now. She settled in in no time and that’s because of the wonderful and caring staff, providing a safe and nurturing environment. I’ve found that all staff are warm and friendly and encourage the children. I felt I was able to go to work knowing that my daughter is safe, happy and well cared for. I felt it is important to let you all know what a fantastic job you’re doing. Our daughter enjoyed coming to nursery and always asks if she is going.  She has made lots of friends and enjoys seeing the staff and talking to them. The staff are all friendly and will talk to you about how she has been and what she has been doing. We will be definitely going back to Nuffy Bear Day Nursery with baby number two.

My son started here in April, he has thrived here. Speech and fine motor skills have come on leaps and bounds can’t thank the whole team for all the hard work and making my son feel most welcomed.
The lunches seem very good and varied with lots of fruit and veg! My son loves it here

My son has been attending Nuffy Bear Cheam since April 2019, I can’t fault Nuffy Bear or their amazing team for the care provided to my child. His key worker is great with him and is also great at feeding back to me and my partner on our son’s progress. He has come on so much since attending – socially and academically! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a placement for their child!

I could not recommend Nuffy Bear highly enough. Every single member of staff has been fantastic towards my daughter, particularly her key worker and the manager. My daughter has been there for 8 months and could not love it more – every day she stands at the door with her nursery bag, ready to go. The staff have gone above and beyond over the last 8 months developing my daughters’ social, emotional and educational skills with fun activities; she’s now a confident adventurer and the staff have really nurtured this for her. The food appears to be good and well-balanced and staff communication with parents is good. Every member of staff knows your child and that really brings a sense of family to the nursery.

This is such a lovely nursery, I cannot rate it highly enough. My son has been going here for nearly two years and the staff have been really fantastic in nurturing and teaching him and updating me on his progress. The team always put a lot of thought into coming up with new and exciting activities to do with the children and making it really special. The outside green space is such a unique bonus and I just love that the children can have use of that. The staff and management team are superb.

My daughter started Nuffy Bear Cheam in October 2022 when she was 8 months old. The settling in process was well thought out and my daughter loved every minute of it. She has made bonds with all staff especially her key worker. I can see such a difference in her since she joined Nuffy Bear and her cheeky, loving personality is shining through. This is all due to the care that she receives from all staff. My daughters communication has come such a long way and is learning new words every day. My daughter comes home messy every day! A messy baby is a happy baby. I can’t thank all the Nuffy Bear team for all the hard work and dedication to all children and their families.

Both of our kids have attended Nuffy Bear day nursery over the last few years and have loved their time there. It’s a great setting and the management and staff are all incredibly friendly, caring and supportive and have gone above and beyond to help our kids learn and develop. I would highly recommend Nuffy Bear Cheam.
