ParkingThe Nursery is situated in a resident and business permit and/or paid parking zone. Due to its location, there is no designated drop off zone for the Nursery.

VisitingThey require all visits to the nursery to be pre-booked, however if you are dropping in from the high street, you can visit the reception located at the front of the building and ask for the Nursery Manager who will be happy to assist with your enquiry.

September 10, 2024 at 9:21 amBoth my youngsters are always pleased to go to early‑years hub which I think says it all! I’m extremely grateful to the early‑years hub for staying open for key workers during the pandemic. I like the regular updates on the app both on a day to day basis and for discovering objectives/progress. Staff are always kind, supportive and enthusiastic about exploring. Outdoor space is smaller than other nurseries but they use it well and pre-Covid they were always really good at getting the little ones out and about (even had a trip to the zoo), hopefully, this will start again soon.

October 18, 2024 at 6:35 amMy young lad rarely said a word before starting at the setting and now 2 months on he has been able to put together a sentence. My little one is not the easiest little one to attention for and I could not thank every crew member enough for the amount of patience and attention they have put in to meeting my son’s needs. Since my little one has started here at North Street Nursery I could not believe how much he has already developed in only a matter of weeks. Thank you all ever so much. When he first started, he would get upset when leaving him at the door, but now he walks in by himself.

December 31, 2024 at 7:30 amOur young lady has been to 3 different nurseries for a variety of reasons and settled quickest at North Street Nursery. She’s always been delighted to go in and see the crew, who are always pleased to chat outside with parents, no matter the weather. My concern before she started was the lack of outdoor space but they use it well and pre-Covid she enjoyed some super trips, to local areas and even once to the zoo! Management are always quick to help out with queries and are useful with questions about things like Tax-Free Childcare accounts. The app they use is useful for seeing what they’re up to during the day if you want to know how much they ate for lunch, for example.

North Street Nursery is the only reason we’ve survived this pandemic! We have not been able to spend much time inside the childcare centre because of covid but I can tell that the practitioners care deeply about my daughters and observe them closely.

I’ve used a few nurseries in Bristol, and I can honestly say North Street have been the best of the bunch, the interaction with parents has been exceptionally good and the the way in which the 2020 lock down was dealt with was a great example of their exceptionally high level of service to both little ones and parents.

March 4, 2025 at 5:56 pmWe are kept up to date regularly with our son’s improvement and advancement and he is always singing songs or the alphabet that he’s learnt. If our little one is ever unsettled they know how to distract him and know what his interests are. Our little one has joined the childcare centre since it opened and enjoys going. They have a nice variety of meals which are sourced locally. They go on day trips, having recently been to the zoo on the bus which the youngsters enjoyed. Our youngest little one will be starting there next year and I’m sure he will enjoy it as much as his brother! They regularly used the roof terrace with the mud kitchen, bikes and other equipment and also go to the local park. The crew are all kind and approachable and care about all the little ones.

There are always loads of activities going on to keep them interested which has really helped with their progress.

It is clear that the personnel are invested in the children’s well-being and have been brilliant with establishing/maintaining routines and offering advice. My young lady has flourished at North Street Nursery, she has developed great relationships with her key workers and fellow peers.

Staff at the early‑years hub really engage and the kids have developed and progressed in confidence and abilities throughout their time at North Street whilst always being truly delighted there. They have enjoyed going into preschool, making friends and doing lots of fun stuff they so enjoy telling us about.

May 3, 2025 at 8:45 amThe childcare centre now has a lovely roof garden space with mud kitchen, bikes to go on and so forth. The team take a exceptionally active role in playing with her and doing activities alongside her so she feels assured and also have taken time to know her family and update the app to let us know how she is getting on each day. My young lady is extremely delighted at North Street Nursery. With the childcare centre, she has been on exciting trips to different parks, library, farm, shop and has been on the bus. She has a special bond with her key worker and the other crew who every session make an effort to steer her towards activities she enjoys doing and then encouraging her to explore new things. My little one comes home reciting new songs, repeating stories and producing artwork she has made. The early‑years hub inside has a lot of resources accessible to the kids, is bright and extremely hygienic and has a lovely quiet area.

May 20, 2025 at 1:04 pmThey make a huge effort to get to know all the little ones individually, including their interests, their strengths and where they may need extra support/attention. They also do trips out to give varied outdoor stimulation. Their indoor space for toddlers is large and open, with space to run around and activities, or snuggle in a quiet corner. The crew are warm, welcoming, kind and patient. They make good use of their outdoor space, the kids do gardening with planters, enjoy the mud kitchen, ride-on toys, balance and playtime with all the toys and equipment. The preschool room is excellent and they absorb loads of things including self-care, kitchen abilities, crafting, etc. North Street Nursery is a lovely nursery setting, my boy settled in well immediately after they opened and has cherished it ever since. We’re regularly updated on their app about meals, activities and photos, which helps us to feel involved in their day.

May 20, 2025 at 9:48 pmMy baby struggled to settle into the baby room initially which was a painful process for us as parents but personnel went above and beyond to help settle him, with plenty of cuddles and lots of reading his favourite books. An excellent nursery setting with a particularly caring environment. I felt they made a strong effort to get to know him and his personal likes which was supportive and reassuring. He now has an extremely close bond with his key worker and is so excited to arrive in the morning. The team are so excited to tell me about how his day has been and the advancement he is making. The standard of food is truly high and the recent trip to the zoo was a great success.

We have always been delighted to leave our youngsters with them, assured they are receiving excellent support. Any issues have been responded to promptly, with good, clear contact. Most of all, we are thrilled that our kids have fun with a wide range of stimulating activities. This is a lovely childcare centre with truly dedicated and enthusiastic personnel.

We are really pleased to send our youngster there. North Street early‑years hub has been great for our young lad.
