Norfolk House Nursery - Oxford Road

The management of the early‑years hub is both professional and accommodating, which is a culture that is shared across all the crew, nothing is too much trouble and they genuinely attention about the children’s wellbeing. The crew are so kind and caring it quickly took away any anxiety we had in sending our youngsters to childcare centre for the first time. Activities are varied and fun plus bringing in people from outside the early‑years hub to do toddler tennis or forest school (for example) really gives the youngsters a wide-ranging time. We really can’t speak enthusiastically enough of them. Both of our little ones have been at Oxford Road since it first opened and our time has been faultless. Our youngest recently transitioned from the babies’ room to the toddler room and this process was well thought out and managed.

This helps align home life with the childcare centre. Our eighteen-month-old girl has been at Norfolk House Oxford Road for five months. trips to farms, visits from local fire service). The early‑years hub also provides access to a healthcare specialist and nutritionist which is an added bonus. She is delighted to be dropped off and the crew have really helped by ensuring her favourite book or breakfast is there to comfort her on arrival. The crew clearly communicate how she’s eaten, slept etc and any other concerns and there is a clear system/process in place for this even on the odd occasion where the usual team are not present at the time of handover. The contact from the Nursery is great, we get regular updates on events for the month (e.g. The nursery setting has helped develop my daughter’s social skills and updates. She was initially nervous and was worried about being left anywhere without one of her parents nearby, but after a few sessions at Norfolk House, she’s become extremely settled.

Staff and management are always supportive and discuss on a daily basis of activities and any changes which have taken place. I would advocate this early‑years hub to others it is a safe environment. The manager is always available there is an open door policy and concerns or problems can be discussed the crew team always try to implement this. All team are always caring and encouraging the early‑years hub is excellent.

My kids absolutely enjoy coming to Norfolk House. My youngsters in preschool are always welcomed with warmth and kindness. The variety of activities that Norfolk House offers is second to none from nativity plays, parents coming in teaching the kids about their interests, or organising for emergency vehicles to turn up.

Especially in babies one. The personnel are incredible. Our little one is delighted and you can really see the difference they’re making. She’s hitting all her milestones early because of all the hard work nursery setting is doing to help her.

It’s fantastic that my boy joined Norfolk House, couldn’t be happier with the level of attention and work that goes into this childcare centre. Looking forward to seeing my young lad grow and develop there. Never short of a smiling face, showing the team get looked after as much as the little ones.

They always try and involve the parents as much as possible and always ensure that we are kept in the loop of what our little one has been up to. I have seen her thrive during her time at Norfolk Oxford road, and my husband and I are always impressed by how creative they are with their activities! She went from being ‘anxious about leaving mummy’ to walking through the door herself when dropped off. It was so lovely seeing how all the personnel cared for her and ensured she felt comfortable with her surroundings by finding out what she likes and what she responds to. My little one started childcare centre in September 2022 and she absolutely adores it.

The crew, sites, food and daily activities are truly impressive. Our girl has just started at Norfolk House Nursery and is clearly really enjoying herself already. Everything I have seen so far has been superb, I think she is going to treasure it here.

My young lady has been attending Norfolk House Oxford Road for a while now and she absolutely enjoys it. These days when I pick her up she doesn’t want to leave with mummy but would rather stay and playtime. Thank you for a personal relationship, it’s always exceptionally mind easing for a parent to know their little one is looked after, especially in an space different from home. We are always greeted with a smile at the door, the mentors are extremely thorough at the beginning and end of the day regarding my young lady and her improvement from the day.

Couldn’t ask for more. The childcare centre has supported our routine and have been on hand to help with potty training too! The management and crew are all so lovely, you can just tell that they absolutely enjoy working with the little ones, It’s a really great family space and nothing is too much trouble. The toddler crew are really interested to know what he is interested in and provide toys/activities based on this. Our little one started at Norfolk House Oxford road recently and he absolutely treasures it. He really adores toddler tennis and the sports too. The team in the toddler room are so welcoming and kind and give us lots of info about what he has been up to throughout the day.
